61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: WINGS ★ Where DAO Unicorns Are Born! ★ Token launched! on: September 03, 2017, 01:33:16 AM
My wings are on bitjob. They actually have a use case here. It will need time to built it, but they can do it if there are enough funds to be collected. Swarm on the other hand seems to be an ICO for sake or raising money. Nothing more.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: September 03, 2017, 01:17:39 AM
This shows that why is this a failed project. These scammer kids have no knowledge about Bitcointalk. Jahi Grant is part of the team, as you can see his reaction from that post he talks like a little kid and try to shill his scam project. No wonder why this coin failed. There's nothing more than newbies shilling here. No professionalism at all, just a big circle jerk.

Jahigrant has much room to improve his level of professionalism.
But that does not mean the project is scammy.

If the team can conduct themselves professionally, then the future will be easier for the project.
Conducting themselves professionally means they will be able to approach more business segments and people.

This is the most noteworthy comment in the last 10 pages of this thread. It's unbelievable how many newbies accounts the team uses for promoting this project.

Let's face it boys.
- No discussion
- No reputable exchanges
- Negative trust for the OP.

This project will not go anywhere.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: August 23, 2017, 10:09:35 PM
The days for paper currency are limited. Everything is going from plastic cards to mobile to maybe what else. The good thing is, bitcoin is able to grow with this innovation and transformation in money. In essence the innovation is powered by bitcoin.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Still Go Up? on: August 23, 2017, 10:03:06 PM
No doubt that it can and even will.
But investors and governments should see bitcoin as a legit tender. If that happens the true potential of bitcoin will be unleashed and we are in for a real treat.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: August 13, 2017, 05:14:26 PM
Yes i agree with your opinion as it has many advantages over paypal, bitcoin is open source too thats why anyone can contribute to help bitcoin grow and be stable as paypal is a private company And the improvements are based on the company's goals and mission.

Paypal still hold a major market share in online commerce and it will hold it's share (decreasing though) unless bitcoin goes mainstream. Be it bitcoin or an altcoin, the days for Paypal are counted.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODLING IS GOOD on: August 13, 2017, 05:04:06 PM
I am confident that there will be a correction I will hold my coins though, because I think the current political situation will make things every profitable for holders.

At some time It will be time to cash out and I hope that day will be soon.
67  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 22, 2017, 04:39:06 PM
I only use two hardware wallets (Ledger Nano S and Ledger HW.1).

I have on my to do to buy a Ledger wallet because it's one of the safest way to store bitcoin.
Right now i hold some on exchanges and some on blockchain.info. Blockchain over the years have been proven to be a reliable wallet aswell.
68  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dip below 2000 again before Aug 1? on: July 22, 2017, 04:32:48 PM
I honesty hope it will happen but I have to be realistic too and no I don't think that is going to happen because the bip 91 is locked in which means the next step to segwit and the HF has settled in.

Now miners are signaling for it, the drama is over, at least for now.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should long term holders sell before August 1st? on: July 09, 2017, 01:06:05 AM
Dude you're trolling. You know better than to sell before August 1st. Tryin to buy cheap coins eh?

Na 1 august is an important date and to be honest I have some of my money in fiat (EUR) and some of my bitcoin on blockchain.info.

This way I can benefit from a price increase but also an fork. Nobody knows what will happen but I hope I can profit either way.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: July 09, 2017, 01:02:23 AM
Not for me, for us, bitcoin is the best online payment system and also source of income. Some websites offering free bitcoins, but be careful and make complete research on free bitcoins. In market, there are a variety of ways to earn bitcoins.

I used to have bitcoin for payments, but these days with high fees it's better to have/use bitcoin for speculation. I hope the time will come again where the fees are normal and transactions are faster without paying jackpot.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: June 22, 2017, 10:01:44 PM
The current fee setup is not what Bitcoin was intended for. Bitcoin as a currency is made for micro payments and with this outragous fees it's not anymore. Ppl in third world countries can't even such ridiculous fees. So how would this give a boost to adoption again...?
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: June 22, 2017, 09:37:40 PM
My holdings in Gold are less. Maybe not even 1% and not of it is physical. Call me crazy but i prefer bitcoin in every way possible.

For a back up when fiat stats crashing, for a investment instrument and yes even as an payment instrument
73  Economy / Exchanges / Re: speculation: poloniex insolvent on: June 12, 2017, 08:11:46 AM
No. They just don't have the required manpower to handle all the new requests.

That's correct even with the trollbox moderators assigned to tickets it will take some time to learn those guys how to handle tickets. Just give them some weeks.

P.S. You do now they earned millions on fees a day right.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: June 12, 2017, 07:56:20 AM
I actually want to know, is it really a money..?
as a beginner member of this platform, i have to make it understand clearly, so far I know, Bitcoin is a virtual currency and it's getting spread out all over the world, I want to learn more about this issue...
Yes it is really money. Just search what is the meaning of money. And my own understanding to it is that it is something that you can use for purchasing goods and services. And we are using bitcoin for doing it so and not just only it because we can also use it as an investment.

The moment you can use it to buy goods or services it can be considered as real money. The fact that you convert it to fiat or vice versa makes it a widely accepted type of currency. So yeah Bitcoin is real money.

And it's gaining popularity.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: June 03, 2017, 10:53:50 PM
I think xby will be a top 30 coin soon

But that would mean... the price of one coin will be... OMG...! NO WAY!

The potential of XBY is huge but remember there is a 650M supply. Having a 10 cent value would be a major achievement for XBY and something which I think can be done. Much more would make it a bit unrealistic don't you think?
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a bitcoin day? on: June 03, 2017, 10:48:54 PM
Great Idea! every people in crypto world wants Bitcoin Day! or Cryptocurrency Day! I am more than happy to celebrate Bitcoin Day woohoo! Cheesy

Yes right. Crypto Currency is taking over. It would be great if we can have 1 day in a year where there is a awareness for crypto currency. Or maybe something less specific, like an Internet day. In 2017 it's very important in our life.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: May 20, 2017, 06:06:38 PM
The value of bitcoin will peak the coming years when that moment is reached we may lose volatility and in return we receive usability
Embedding bitcoin in our daily life, like how bitcoin was intended to be.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: May 20, 2017, 06:02:01 PM
For my perspective, the future of Bitcoin will be amazing. Now a days Bitcoin is getting popular and acceptable to the people so the demand will increase. If demand will be high then price will be also high. In this way, Bitcoin will be staying at strongly.
I'm really optimistic about the bright future of Bitcoin.

I am positive too about the future of bitcoin. Although I am very well aware there is still a problem and no consensus in regard to the block size debate.
The price run is good but having 200k unconfirmed transactions is not.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price cycles on: May 02, 2017, 09:31:56 PM
Thank you for the price prediction and i hope that the price of bitcoins would reach 2000$ by the end of august, even if it does not then we can expect that the price of bitcoins will only reach upto 2000$ by the end of december.

Bitcoin's price is now skyrocketing. Therefore, it is very likely that bitcoin will reach 2000 dollars soon. If, of course, after such rapid growth there will be no precipitous decline

At this moment we are in a pump phase, but nobody really knows what is happening. There is still a debate about scaling bitcoin with large blocks etc.
So I think this pump will only live short, and we can expect it to go down again.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: May 02, 2017, 09:28:55 PM
I hope to save a lot of bitcoin so someday I can buy my  house with bitcoin.
At this moment i am still in the accumulating phase, but come 2020 halving, I think I will be able to buy my house with bitcoin.
