So we are approaching the last week of this sale, that went fast. 'Crowdfunding ends Jan. 9th 2017 @ 12:00am GMT' once the all gets rolling I think this is going to make me a very happy investor. Movies and income, what else do you want after the holidays. Been back to work but I'm of again Sat/Sun/Mon so I will try get some movies up for you guys.

If bitcoin crashes so will monero. the only way for monero to go higher is for bitcoin to break 1500+

Don't worry, press coverage will start soon enough - probably after Bitcoin reaches 4 digits. Although there is some reporting, it's actually good that journalists are still sleeping. Rallies fueled by mass media are the least sustainable. Uninformed people that only buy because of greed triggered by mainstream media tend to be quickly disappointed. We don't need that.
In my opinion the recent price moves are driven by real demand - mostly from India. So I would think that this rally is a bit more sustainable than the previous mega-bubble.

Has anyone done any numbers to the amount of money that can be made buy purevidz after 6months/year etc. I would love to see some hard numbers because as it stands I could own a big amount of vidz for a fairly small investment. 14btc will get me 50% of the coins, it seems this is a gold mine. Looks like I may have to do the numbers and research myself.. Like they say if you want something doing......

The more the merrier is what this project needs, by having more people with vested interest in the project (invested) the more exposure it will get and the more value the coins /project will be worth long term. Well two new coins have been added to Polo so it looks like they are adding new coins again. Does not mean they will add ANS of course..

What is great about it, the less people invest, the more value our coins have, when them people wake up and want to invest after seeing the profit the site makes and the amount of buybacks happen and coins burnt , this will moon harder than 95% of everything ever seen in crypto. So just hold tight and don't let people know what gem it really is as that will dilute your investment ssshh you just told him hold tight and not tel people and you have told everyone that has looked at this thread, doh! You are right though everything is in place to make this mega both price and features. I'd prefer people involved and my investment 'diluted; the more the merrier because there is an eco system that gives Vidz a demand isn't there. |

You bring up a good point. We've discussed a number of times through the thread how we will handle user data and protect their privacy. I think this is something we definitely need to include in the whitepaper for clarity purposes but here's the rundown of the basics. 1: What does the website track. We do not record any IP addresses, browser information or even what accounts are watching what items. The exception to this obviously is if you are adding items to your playlist/watch later/alert list but passively using the site generates no logs on our side. 2: How is user data anonymized. Our website salts + hashes both your username and password. We have no way to view your email address or password and the mailing list data is not associated with your account in any way. If in the extreme circumstance of the website's database being compromised, there would be nothing linking your email address (mailing list) to your account (what you've uploaded to the site). 3: How users should protect themselves. Depending on your country of origin, using torrents may or may not have consequences. Our website will contain a disclaimer reminding users to be aware of their local laws and to take measures to protect themselves. We STRONGLY recommend that if you live in an area where torrenting has legal consequences that you use a VPN. As part of the site's monetization model we will prominently feature VPN advertisements and guides on what they are, how to use them and why you should. 4: Centralized website. This is both true and false. During the initial launch phase the database and web host are being routed through a number of servers in various countries. If a host were ever seized, taken offline or otherwise interfered with, there would be full backups ready for the site to fall back on. So why that so called Legendary thought you would is beyond me. The great thing about the internet today is it is very easy to cover your tracks with a vpn who records no data. For instance my vpn 'because i am in a sensitive part of the world' gives me the option of connecting to stream so it gives me a faster connection. I would say most people who watch movies online and stream all know whats up with protecting their IP and if they're not then they should not be on the internet and streaming movies if they're in a sensitive country. I love the way you can educate people of the potential dangers and help the world bypass just some of the surveillance and tracking that goes on in the world. So kudos to you and I'm sure it will be a very nice and educating read to learn from for anyone that needs to know. Having the back ups and integrating to alternative domains will be a winner for when PureVidz rises in popularity and 'm going to look into this further how you will do it. All in all I'm very happy with what I see here and I will be investing before the end, you handle yourself very professionally while responding to forum members concerns and that is a big plus for me, giving others respect when they do not always deserve it shows a solid character. |

What is wrong with missing a pump and having to wait months? I'd say everything is wrong with that. It could have been sold at 50k like I did and brought back at 30k or below if you belive in the project.

What can I say..... I thought when I clicked through the site and went to select a movie it would take hours to load. My brother is playing counterstrike, my sister and father are both using the internet and it loaded for me in less then 15 seconds. Im shocked.

How will this hold up when 100's of thousands or even millions of people are watching at the same time. Is this built to scale up and if so how.
They are torrents on your browser. So i don't see any problems on that. I would be more worried on the legal issues which may ensue. I really wouldn't worry about any legal issues unless you live in the UK which I do, so I will use a vpn if and when a potential problem arises with my ISP, to date it hasn't.. Dev team have you thought about some kind of referral advertisement for vpns, even if it is pennies adding up when you get to masses watching pure vidz it will soon add up. |
