61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots machines how to win on: April 01, 2018, 11:00:40 PM
So far, from what my experience, I've never really been able to win anything from slots aside from the free rolls I get sometimes from promotions. Usually, whenever I try and deposit money for slots it just eats up my money. And not just on a slow pace, when it does eat my money, but in a rapid way. It's like a fast car but opposite. My money goes from 60 to 0 in 3.5 secs, something like that. That is why, I try my best to avoid slots. Also, if you have been in a real casino or any casino in the US (even in the gas stations), you will typically find slots and a lot of them. Why? Because those things are cash cows for the owners. It generates shit tons of money for them to operate even if there is no one playing every machine everyday.
62  Economy / Lending / Re: [2BTC Max] Loan Service on: April 01, 2018, 10:49:12 PM

Sorry for the late response to your request, though I think you probably wouldn't need the loan anymore anyway if this was approved.

About your collateral, I would not be accepting tokens or coins in ICO stage. From what I've been seeing in the lending section, no one is really accepting these. Maybe I will put this on my terms and conditions later.

Thank you for your interest though.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your family past incidents effect you? on: April 01, 2018, 10:45:27 PM
Hi, i have a question for my gambler's buddies as i'm perplexed by this. I have a friend who really wishes to gamble, but he is not allowed to because his uncle lost his entire assets and some million's and his grandfather to lost another million or so (they're filthy rich). So due to this facts he is barred from gambling, they believe he'll loose money to, they're stopping him on past incidents and i'm really tired of explaining them they're wrong, what do you'll think, anyone else faces such issues?

Yes it really affects me my past incidents in gambling. It's really difficult to be addicted in gambling because you might lost you're family as well. This situation affects me until now l can't move on.

Why will your future be affected by the past of your past relatives? That should never be the case as that would mean that you can no longer do anything for yourself if the past dictates you. If you think about it, what if one of your great grandfathers lost money in a vending machine, will that mean you should never ever use a vending machine since your past relatives was a victim of a vending machine? That is just illogical to do.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the opportunities we have in blockchain? on: April 01, 2018, 10:29:19 PM
There are too many to mention. You can see it in the projects around the crytocurrency space. Even here on the forum, you can see that there are a lot of application of the blockchain technology. It is not merely limited to recording transfers of coins or tokens, it has a lot of applications in the real world scenario.

For example, it can be used in health care where you can record every details, tests done, previous histories, etc. of a patient on the blockchain, so when it is needed it would be easily be pulled out by any authorized personnel in any hospital or health care provider anywhere in the world. That is something that should be a million dollar idea, but it really needs more support. I forget what was the name of the project, which I saw around the forum. Maybe someone can supply the name here.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: April fools day fact: The market keep bleeding hard on: April 01, 2018, 10:17:25 PM
This is likely the result of the major up trend that happened late last year, which now results to a great down trend afterwards. It's really like ping pong against a wall. The harder you hit it, it will return as hard. So in this case, what happened was that the prices went up pretty high and ended up coming back terribly low.

Another factor is that the prices are going down due to increased supply because of the Mt.Gox liquidation. What happened was that because those coins with them was not accounted for anymore, when they released it back into the economy it resulted to excess supply and that caused the market to have an imbalance in supply and demand. And also because of the sudden fall in prices it also resulted to a mass panic. It caused a domino effect in the market.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia implements harsh anti-crypto tax laws. on: March 30, 2018, 06:55:15 AM
This is expected. The governments will create anti-crytocurrency laws or laws that would extremely make it hard to use crypto for the reason that they are afraid of the technology and also that they are afraid that it could replace fiat currency which they cannot control. However, if the whole world wants crypto, what can the governments do. After all, power emanates from the people.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: March 30, 2018, 06:49:09 AM
For me, no. I don't follow then since they are most of the time paid or promised with something that is the reason they promote the ICO or cryptocurrency. Yes there are times that the crypto is good on paper, but really they are not backed up by good people or platforms. In the end, they just collapse and your investment gone.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is in danger zone now! the recent dip looks bad on: March 30, 2018, 06:39:36 AM
This is the real problem with the news in bitcoins. There are so many people that make their own predictions and they end up being wrong or right and the people will not believe those people that just makes up some stupid prediction they just had luck predicting. Everybody just speaks like an expert around here and make their own predictions.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading was fun! on: March 30, 2018, 06:22:55 AM
Hello guys!

I thought this was never a fun experience when it comes to day trading. Despite the risk, I still find it a lot of fun. First, I try to be a "whale" to manipulate others to dump price by selling all of it. I was selling FAITH to BTC at 45 satoshi and successfully sold half of it.

I bought 277 and 754 FAITH at 45 and 47 satoshi, respectively, hoping that I could have an extra. Then, I decided to sell them all at 50 satoshi. As a result, I have successfully sold more than half of it at that price and I have a few more left before its sold out.

I'm doing this for fun, you know. At the same time, I got profits. However, there's no such thing as perfect day trading strategy. Perhaps, I'm just lucky.

The basics of buy low sell high at a right time. Win or lose, it was fun!
Cherish it while you can, and don't over do it. Keep some of your profits. I was able to do the same back when ETH went up by almost x4 but it was short lived when I tried to buy XRP and lost it when it went down and now I went back to where I started and lost a bit. So I guess it's not everyday you win in trading.
70  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-29] Bitcoin Price Slides Under $7,600 as Market Dips Below $300 Billion on: March 29, 2018, 10:24:54 PM
Guess this is another effect of the Mt.Gox liquidation. They have been pouring in more and more bitcoins back into the economy which is causing abnormal shift in supply that is why the price is moving down a lot. And with the futures also coming into play this is causing a lot of trouble in the price causing it to fluctuate heavily in this ranges. I am guessing after the liquidation, this could end up going sky high again.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks $6k barrier on: March 29, 2018, 10:21:28 PM
Probably this is good news to those people waiting to buy bitcoins, but aside from that, I fail also to see the point of OP in this thread to say it is great news. Also, it did not break $6k barrier but only the $7k one as it did not dip below $6k. This thread is just pretty much confusing and makes no sense at all.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Starting a Gambling Game on: March 29, 2018, 10:12:46 PM
I have tried gambling with my friends when we are bored like if a red car passes by you would win,

I'm related to this kind of game. When I'm with my friends and we are on the road and nothing to do. We are betting on the color of the cars but we have some special rules to set. Like we are setting a certain period of time then we choose a color. The most car with our chosen color that passed in that period of time will be the winner. The loser(the lowest number of car color that pass through) will treat everyone.
Always a good time with friends and I am sure a lot of people will always relate to this and most especially those who have a fun filled life with crazy friends. Regardless of these, it ends up going away with adulthood sometimes and only living you with the memories at the end of the day. I can remember back then how we used to bet on asking ladies out or getting to collect numbers or betting on different things just to create some fun. It is always fun even more than gambling itself.
This may be called  gambling i guess but its not a real-life gambling game like most of us here engaged.Of course i had also experience bets like that way back in my teenage days. But that game does not give us big profits like what we are into now.Starting a gambling game can often happen if i'm with my close friends who used to gamble too.

Or big losses. From your statement, you are treating gambling as a source of profits/income. Which should never be the case. If you were gambling on such petty things like simple trading cards, cars passing, or whatever small bets, it is still gambling. It may not be the usual thing like dice and slots but it makes something like this a lot more interesting as you wage on the outcome of something.
73  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: March 29, 2018, 10:06:36 PM
My brother and I have two accounts and one is referral to another. Today he got  9989 on free roll and about 2300 satoshi, but referral doesnot get anything ( before will get 1/2) from that value

Hash to verify

https://s3.amazonaws.com/roll-verifier/verify.html?server_seed=6b7a6aa7f197ff9ab0ea62d81d4407e73a46d83c0997f845789ad9ce0a0e0e8b&client_seed=Cvw6IpNt7WcvcGrm&server_seed_hash=0980616556f786f0ec40e1363b57d8f37e7890437ffad4a75b7bce5475902971&nonce=94

Probably the system has detected you guys as fraudulent accounts as cheating the referral system due to the fact that both of you share the same IP. If you guys do then that is indeed the problem. Or maybe you just made up the brother and me story so you can withdraw your winnings and referral commission, if so you should probably stop as it's illegal.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: March 29, 2018, 10:02:04 PM
Some people think that strong feeling affect the outcome of your bet. But for me its all about luck., what do you think guys.
For me it's just a matter of luck and positiveness in gambling sometimes we need the luck because no matter what we do without it, it is impossible for us to win the game. It's just like without air we can't breathe that's how I define the luck.
It will only matter for ourselves, since we need to convince ourselves that somehow we will be able to win. There were times that we will be needing to do it. But still be realistic you'll definitely sense it when you're playing

And that could depend on your luck if you have positive vibe then the luck will following it, always think positive that you think you can do it to win and that luck will come out together with positive think.
Just try to gamble that you are not in a good condition it may bring you a huge loss if that happens it is different from if you didn't think a positive.

LOL. Where did you get that mumbo jumbo? Your luck will never be affected by any outside factor no matter how happy you can be! Our odds of winning will always be the same if you are positive or negative. It will not result to a better chance of winning. There is no such thing. It's just something people make up and you should not believe.

There are just those ignorant people that think luck can be influenced by something as petty as being positive like what this thread has been implying. People should wake up to the truth that gambling is a game of chance and you chances of winning is fixed and mathematically determined. And, honestly a casino with a house edge ensures the gambler has a greater chance at losing than winning.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 223: Ferguson vs Nurmagomedov Info and Prediction Thread, Big Event! on: March 29, 2018, 09:57:44 PM
You wanna listen to two grown men acting like two little whiney kids?  You're all in luck, click the link below.  Lol.  Cheesy

Ferguson lost it in this one.  He was trying too hard in bullying Khabib and it back fired.  Oh well...

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson Absolutely Rip Eachother in Epic Trash Talk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fo-yZLP8UZc

This is the usually norm nowadays in MMA, so much trashtalk and bad blood which are actually just for show! I blame McGreggor for this as he has really made a lot of money with this! He hypes the fight through trashtalking every single fighter he is up against this made him famous and rich and eventually had a chance to fight Mayweather which made him more famous and rich!
76  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Bitcoin Casino | Plinko, Mines, Blackjack, Roulette + 8 more 👽 on: March 29, 2018, 09:52:57 PM
Is Online Gambling Legal If Bitcoins, Not Dollars, Are At Stake?

This account seems to be a bot. It's quoting this headline word for word https://www.npr.org/sections/alltechconsidered/2013/02/06/171182974/is-online-gambling-legal-if-bitcoins-not-dollars-are-at-stake
Someone must have been trying a new bot so it can farm accounts by posting something that would seem constructive and high quality because it is copy pasting something good from the internet. Just by looking at the name of the user, it seems like it because of "content" and "box" which is implying to be a content bot. You should probably report this to the moderators so they will have a heads up about it.

77  Economy / Gambling / Re: 0% house edge, rake and comission on: March 29, 2018, 09:47:54 PM
But the thing is there are gamblers that can't stop playing even if they have won a lot already and think they can make more out of their winnings but end up losing in the end.
You are assuming that they are losing to prove that they lose.

Just because they are wagering does not mean that they are going to lose. Just because they are greedy and continue to bet does not mean that they will lose. And if you are considering only one player, then the variance is high and you will deviate from the mean of 0.

Basically, your argument boils down to this: human emotions cause greed, which means a higher wagered amount, resulting in the loss of money.

This may be true with games that have house edge, but it's not true in the case of zero-edge games. And not only that, but you are also assuming that the casino has enough bankroll to cover that of the player.

From my cursory reading of your conversations, I would agree with actmyname. The fact is that indeed there are those that will get greedy but probably there would equally be those that win and takes home the money thus resulting to probably an equal gain and losses for the casino. Mathematically speaking, this is indeed a 0 end game since we are rolling an infinite number of games and this means that the closer we reach infinity the more likely the results will be 0 in this case. Hence, indeed a casino with 0% house edge is just wasting their time and server hosting.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: StarCraft betting prediction tips on: March 29, 2018, 09:43:08 PM
There is a lot more potential in betting on e sports than sports because the market is much less efficient. The margin of error doesnt have to be very high to allow for some profitable bets. If you are a person who loves to watch professional StarCraft matches, like myself, then I think it is easy to find spots where particular players are under or over valued.

I know that Pinnacle takes action on StarCraft, accepts bitcoin deposits, and generally offers pretty competitive lines.  BetOnline as someone else suggested is also solid.
I agree, there is really a lot more money to be made here than regular sports as it is quite hard to grade the matchups in this area than the conventional ones. However, it is also hard to analyse the games as there is no set rules in analysis here as well. This is really uncharted territories both for the bookmakers and as well as the gamblers.
79  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: March 27, 2018, 09:17:37 PM
BTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

Is cloud mining bitcoins still profitable? I mean i hear a lot of things from both sides. Amd i wanna make sure that i don't waste time and momey if I would just earn small profits or even worse lose all my investments and waste my time.

Share your thoughts.
BTCBTCBTCBTC

It is but this is assuming you were able to mine a lot of coins before the prices go up and the difficulty goes up as well. Since if the prices go down and the difficutly just keeps on rising then you would be getting less and less coins everyday but the earnings are a lot lower. I would just recommend to just buy and hold. Its a lot more profitable in my opinion.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: About real state of cryptos on: March 27, 2018, 09:14:34 PM
Hi all. What do you think about this idea - is it possible to actually use crypto for daily payments?
read on medium

give your opinion

It is possible, but not with bitcoin nor ethereum. The high prices and slow transactions will not be ideal for merchants and customers to use these. Probably something like ripple is good since it is fast and cheap to use. But the problem with ripple is that it is centralized. However, there are less popular coins that can be used to do this. We just need a concensus with the public which one is perfect.
