I would suggest doing a google translate post in the Korean forum too. I presume it's crossed many a mind there.
*No auto-translated posts or announcements.
I would suggest not. posting in english is fine, people do it all the time and a good deal of the korean population is proficient enough in english.

2) If your wallet file doesn't work on the newest version of Electrum (for some reason), you can try creating a watch-only version of your wallet, building a transaction, sending it to the old version Electrum for signining and broadcast it manually. That's an harder solution, so try out the first one and if it doesn't work, we can try this one.
Simpler solution would be Export all private keys from old Electrum version and import it to new Electrum version. Just make sure the computer/notebook is secure and clean from malware/spyware. this is probably the simplest solution. you can download the old versions of electrum here: https://download.electrum.org/you should be able to export the private keys into a text file and import them to a more current wallet file. back up everything as you go.

I might be remembering incorrectly but I believe mods are paid for the number of moderator actions they do or something along those lines. I'll try to find it tomorrow if I don't forget; heading to sleep now.
don't quite remember where it was posted but i believe theymos has said the mods are distributed a small amount from the forum ad auctions according to how many boards they manage / how many reports they handle.

Yeah I saw that post but it doesn't mention anything about new requirements, besides randomly selecting 100 users?!. I guess theymos wants to keep the DT1 list limited to 100 users as more and more users become eligible for DT1, and this is just the solution he chose for the time being. I don't think there are any new requirements. Maybe more requirements should be put in place, or the current requirements be made more stringent, as the number of qualified users keep increasing.

Together as a community we can make a change! It's time to take Bitcointalk back!
maybe you should make a change by doing your job. or you could give it to someone who actually can. Since Bitcointalk is well known for it's wide selection of signature campaigns to join, it's to no surprise there's such a large amount of posts with little to no constructive value. It's time we crack down on all signature campaign abusers and report them here to be reviewed by the campaign managers. Maybe Bitcointalk won't ever fully be restored to what it once was but it doesn't mean we have to let things continue to spiral downwards at the rate they currently are.
There used to be a lot more before the token bounties took off, yours is just another repeat of the yobit campaign: indiscriminate acceptance with no quality control. the problem got to a point where yobit's campaign was blacklisted in the past, its a solid precedent to justify blacklisting stake's if it gets to that point. When we have so many low quality posters with high credentials such as being Legendary it makes me wonder how they even got to this rank in the first place.
before the introduction of the merit system, all you had to do was be here long enough and make a post once a day to eventually reach legendary. not that much wondering to do. Report anyone here that's posting for a signature campaign and doing more harm than good. Through a community effort we'll clean out the forum and create an environment where Bitcointalk can grow the right way!
you're probably doing the most harm by not doing your job tbh. you contrinue to enable the spammers and put this thread out as some PR stunt to make it seem like you care.

Rule of thumb: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is and you should stay away from it. The old 'cloud mining' ponzis used this tactic a lot with inflated numbers for referral commission and 'guaranteed' profits.

Good lord. How do you people manage to dig up plagiarized posts from that far in the past? Especially snipped up statements like that.
Someone designed a powerful plagiabot, run it, started the banwave, and made the forum to a period should be called as "Chancellor on brink of plagiarism collapse". Please check my guide and note it down for later use. [TIPS] to avoid plagiarismafaik the creator of that software wishes to remain anonymous; I just recognize some of the patterns that plagiarized posts sometimes have (punctuation, new lines, sentence structure, etc. just feels 'off' when I look at it) and literally just search the phrase and see if a match pops up.

the major problem of Bitcoin is probably lack of adoption. and the main reasons of lack of adoption are probably ease of use and insufficient security
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1101336.msg12477276#msg12477276Software development team here. We would like to hear from the community what are the most annoying\frustrating stuff you have with Bitcoin and would love to get a solution for ? Feel free to talk about any problem, even if it seems unsolvable or too abstract (e.g. Bitcoin is not safe enough for the average user) Edit: After reading all the replies, I feel confident summarizing that the #1 problem of Bitcoin is probably lack of adoption. And the main reasons of lack of adoption are probably ease of use and insufficient security. We are a team of entrepreneurs and software developers that are going to spend the next following months-year on developing a new product. One of the most appealing markets for us is the Bitcoin market. We will try to learn us much as possible from your replies and try to tackle the problems head on.

Suggestion: one thing that I think could be added is the option to filter events by user(s). Filter by (x) to view the history for just that user, and if possible, filter for multiple users (x) and (y) and so on. Might be interesting and useful for some people.

Miscellaneous: I believe with all the evidences laid out there and 2 user found out permanently banned, I guess all of this members have violated the rule of the forum on ban evasion. They should be banned as well, and as I can see too, those accounts are actively participating on bounty campaigns and fair guess using alt accounts to join on same campaigns. This should be reported to a global mod if there's a violation of evading the ban, am I right?
that is correct. you can report any of their recent posts citing your post as evidence. or thats what i usually do anyways.
