61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Starting a Gambling Game on: March 22, 2018, 08:46:21 AM
I have tried gambling with my friends when we are bored like if a red car passes by you would win,

I'm related to this kind of game. When I'm with my friends and we are on the road and nothing to do. We are betting on the color of the cars but we have some special rules to set. Like we are setting a certain period of time then we choose a color. The most car with our chosen color that passed in that period of time will be the winner. The loser(the lowest number of car color that pass through) will treat everyone.
Just a clear example that we can really gamble on everything! I remember too that I was gambling with friends with just simple child games like go fish or even UNO. Back when we were kids, I think this also is true in other countries, we play punch buggy. Whenever there is a volkswagon buggy passes and you see it first you can punch your seatmate, it's somehow gambling for punches, I guess.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: “By 2025, even drug dealers won’t take cash.” How BiG is PORN and other issues.. on: March 21, 2018, 10:37:25 AM
It's too obvious that is would happen. Everything is going digital so why won't money be part of the digital revolution? Paper would be obsolete and so is other manual and primitive ways we have. The world is changing, and the old ways are slowly dying and being replaced by technological advancements. The would must adopt to changing times. And the future is bright for cryptocurrencies in my opinion.
63  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-21]Volumes on Most Major Cryptocurrency Exchanges Are Fake or Inflated: on: March 21, 2018, 10:30:16 AM
I don't think it's still a concrete evidence that it is happening. The only way to really check it is to actually see the records of the exchanges. Thing is, in cryptocurrency trading there are a lot of bots that trade on the market. So any sudden change in the prices or orderbooks will have an unpredictable effect on the coin since there might be trading bots that have the same strategy and holding a lot of coins to change the outcome of the anticipated result the guy was hoping for.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep these things in mind when you are into crypto world on: March 20, 2018, 10:42:46 AM
Thank you for your advice, but I think it is not good time to take part in ICOs, most of the ICOs have not enough value, but so much risky.

There is a concept in business which states, "the higher the risk, the higher the return." Indeed, ICOs are extremely risky to invest in, but choose the right one and you can turn a few hundred dollars to millions! You don't need to look far, just look at bitcoins. BTC started like $0.000001 or even a lot more zeroes. That translates to millions of dollars if you bought some back when it started.
65  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of stuff you can use bitcoin for. on: March 20, 2018, 10:38:11 AM
Added more to the list...
I'll be working on organizing the list into categories soon.

Nice list, and thank you for compiling this list. This is instantly on my bookmarks!

I'd agree though that it needs to be organized for better reading and so it would also be easier for people to look for what they are looking for. Probably organize it alphabetically under separate sections. The sections being categories, something like online shops, VPS. VPN, physical items, digital goods, etc. Just my two cents.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin will become the next giant? on: March 20, 2018, 10:33:29 AM
Bitcoins already is a giant in its own name and way. It made people rethink what money is and how it should be. People are now recognizing what it is and that it could change the world forever. Although people are still underestimating it and just considering it as a speculative investment, but they cannot deny the fundamentals of what cryptocurrencies are. The world is shifting to digital, and money will not fall far behind!
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making 1% Daily on: March 20, 2018, 10:08:13 AM
Hello,

Would it be possible to make 1% of your capital every day?

This would be 30% in a month, this is a lot.

It really comes to your capital:

1% of 100 would be 1$ daily, so 30$ on a month.
1% of 1000 would be 10$ daily, so 300$ month.
...

Is trying aiming at 1% daily too much? to ambitious?

It is not impossible, but it is also possible that you lose 1% a day or 30% a month. You can even do 100% a month or even a day, or even lose everything in a day. That's pretty much how things work in trading or any form of investment.

I don't think it's ambitious, but it is a bit too high. Having an average of 10% a month is ideal but is already high. Maybe a more attainable target is around 5% a month and that would be pretty safe.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: March 20, 2018, 09:51:44 AM
Yes, most of the cases we need Maths in order calculate. We don't know whether we are winning or losing but still, many people need this Math for calculation little thing assumption while gambling.

We could apply gambling is some games in gambling like poker, it is about probability and statistics and if you know what it is then the chances of winning in poker in higher than if you don't know any strategy in playing poker, but in DICE I think it is so hard to apply math on it because it is all random, and luck is what we needed on the most games in gambling.

Agree , Knowledge is part of the skill we can use on playing gambling games. Mathematics is needed on some games like Baccarat , Blackjack and so on. Math is essential when you are playing games that math is needed because your odds on winning will be more high because you have the knowledge on how to win it.
In some games it can really be applied which can give out some chances to make our cards to be better but on most cases maths cant help us out anytime when we do talk about some games like dice and other similar games.Relying on it isnt really bad but be sure that you are ready on the outcome anytime because math analysis doesnt really work anytime without luck.

Yeah, games like poker or blackjack. You can see that those games involves math and a player can predict the outcome or probability of the outcomes of the next draw. There are even people so good at math they can count cards and be able to win the game in the long run, although such is prohibited in all casinos and gambling sites. But there are games like dice or slots that math will never work and indeed the only way you can win is getting lucky by getting the right number.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: March 20, 2018, 09:47:17 AM
Many but not all gamblers are claiming they gamble for fun and pass time. I was just thinking. If it is the reason why people gamble then why not play online games? There is a lot of good and challenging onlne games wherein you can interact with other people online?
everyone has their own taste to find how they have fun, it is better to play online games than gambling. but we can not interfere with the affairs of those who like to gamble, but there are also people who play online games make the game as a bet. so I think online gaming and gambling depends on the person who plays it.

anything that involves money could be consider as gambling. online games and gambling is merely similar to each other because of such things like, you need to take a lot of time just to master the game same with gambling, you need also to put some profit for you to start playing in gambling, same with online games you need to buy some cards just to level up your account for a short time, gambling can earn money as much as you can, while online games could also earn money buy selling your high profile character, so i think online games and gambling is very similar to each other.

That is not what OP or the thread is contemplating. The part where they are talking about just playing games does not involve putting money on the table or placing bets. The thing is they are imagining a situation like comparing playing PUBG than gambling on poker. Something like that. Indeed even online/computer games are usually gambled on, but that is a different aspect of the game.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "All in Challenge" start with $10 and make $1000 on sports bet on: March 16, 2018, 08:42:51 AM
I though OP was going to share the picks here, guess not. It's either you pay $25 or invite tons of friends into the facebook group. Not really into using my facebook for other than for my own intentions. I do hope they consider just sharing it for free so that we can evaluate if they are any good at making picks, if not for sure no one will ever even try their service.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: March 16, 2018, 08:00:15 AM
gambling is illegal in my country but I think there are many people still play gambling with secret because they don't want to go prison if they play in an open room. but I think there are a lot of gambling website that we can find so I think there is many people that play on the sites too because they can use anonymous IP to avoid the law.

Maybe tell us what country that is, I would guess that there are only a few that banned gambling completely as there are for sure some exception to that rule. Gambling is deeply rooted in most cultures and banning it will likely be something the public will not approve off. And yeah, there are still ways to gamble even if it is banned in your country. There are those underground ones and the online ones are easily accessible even with censorship.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse on: March 16, 2018, 07:39:08 AM
Manny is too old to fight. Don't get me wrong, I love Manny, but he should be retiring and not fighting anymore. He doesn't have it anymore, too much luxury, joining politics, church stuff, etc. He is too preoccupied to even be fighting anyone. He doesn't even train as hard before a fight like he did back then. This will be a clear win for Matthysse, but gambling wise, we'll have to see the odds.
73  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Sportsbook, with 150% instant bonus. on: March 16, 2018, 07:16:48 AM
Not really sure what you are playing at with this one.. Just opening the link it takes me to some weird site that looks like front for a digital business? Where's the sportsbook? Are you just trying to get traffic to the site? (Pretty poor attempt), or did you put in the wrong link?

Please review what you are posting before you actually post it. To avoid any weird situations like this.
Yeah and why does OP even giving a login to something that is not a test site? What's the point in giving out that login if he is looking for gamblers to play on his site, just really shady or just plain dumb at this as he doesn't even know what he is posting.

Guess he has to correct it or lets just ignore it.
74  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcoin is a SCAM on: March 16, 2018, 07:14:15 AM
I have not had problems with Betcoin myself, but I have heard a lot of people had so I'm not surprised about this thread...

They had already been proven as a scam before. So indeed no surprise here. There is that tendency that they will be scamming again, and who knows, maybe one day they will just close down shop and run with all the bitcoins in their wallets. Though maybe they are profiting a lot more by scamming players right now so they haven't run. But just maybe.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: Culture on: March 15, 2018, 11:59:34 PM
I'd say there is a gambling culture in every country, some countries like to bet on soccer and some for basketball. And other countries like the Philippines, cock fighting is a big thing. It changes drastically with every culture and it depends on history. There are even games that are so weird to us that we don't even know they exist. Just by searching the internet about weird gambling games you'll see that there are so many kinds of gambling games aside from the casinos we all know and love.

77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: March 15, 2018, 11:10:59 PM
That's not entirely true.

There's a couple of coins you can buy with USD on Coinbase and I'm sure there are other websites that offer to use other methods to purchase some coins.

I agree you need BTC to purchase 99% of altcoins.

But you see the point that it is just an added step. And for sure those other coins you are talking about that are purchasable with fiat have a premium since the seller, ie coinbase, is charging more since the user does not need to buy bitcoin first then convert it to the altcoin. But I am not so sure about it, it's just a hunch. But yeah, 99% are all sold in BTC than fiat.
78  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-15] Taiwan Central Bank Chief Cautious on Central Bank Crypto on: March 15, 2018, 03:53:50 PM
It's far from being used in commercial payments because there are no regulations supporting it. And so far there is no need to do so. There arent too many people using bitcoin so it doesnt make sense for companies to accept it and risk themselves to whatever legal issues. The first step to everything is adoption. That's the only way it's going to get recognized.

Mind you, there are companies that have already tried implementing it. Steam for one and DELL in the US. There is market here but the problem is people that are holding bitcoins do not want to use it, they just want to HODL until kingdom come. They are holding just for speculative purpose and not really for what it was really intended for.

Regulation does not have anything to do with acceptance as a payment method as laws can't regulate bitcoins anyway because it is decentralized.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: March 15, 2018, 03:49:57 PM
When it's too much, addiction is getting worst that can lead gamblers to commit suicide because of the stress that it gives with their everyday life. Imagining on how many losses you've made and you are feeling sorry about it. If you don't value your life, you will think of this crazy act and people nowadays are really different from the usual years that we've been living before. They are valuing much their money but not their lives.  Undecided

I have personally never had any problem of any addiction in my life (lucky me so to speak) so I cant comment on that matter. But I have seen people whose lives have been ruined by gambling and also those families who have suffered because of bad habits of gamblers in their family. Those who gamble need to have a control over their habits and not let the emotional drive get the upper hand.

Suicide from gambling loss is something new to me. Never heard of such cases in my vicinity but yes emotional stress can lead to many bad outcomes. However its important to control it. Thats all that can be done.

In any kind of addiction there is that chance that they commit suicide. Not really because of the addiction but because there is pain and suffering within the person whenever they actually want to quit but generally can't because they cannot control their addiction. It may not be observable because we don't see it on the news or hear about it but it actually happens.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: March 15, 2018, 01:57:55 PM
I personally prefer dogecoin and ethereum but these days ethereum also have network congestion and fee is really high so dogecoin is best right now.

Raiblocks is another coin that have no confirmation time and zero fee and I think it will be accepted in some casino soon because nobody wants to wait for hours to get confirmation and pay high fees just to move coins in and out of the casino.

What other coins you guys think can be viable option for crypto based casinos?

Of course bitcoin and Eth that is the best coin we should use in playing gambling since they are partners in transactions I think they are also very good about this.

Doesn't mean those are the only cryptocurrencies you can use to gamble. There are so many kinds of cryptocurrencies but the problem is that to buy those other cryptocurrencies you will need bitcoins. So the process goes,

Buy Bitcoins with fiat > convert Bitcoins to whatever altcoin > deposit to gambling site > gamble > Cash-out altcoin > convert back to bitcoins > convert bitcoins back to fiat.

That is just a lot of steps to just be able to gamble.
