I like kraken but I would like the XBT/LTC pair to be inverted. I find it really strange that bitcoins are measured in litecoins and not the other way around like every other litecoin exchange. It feels more natural if you buy/sell litecoins for a certain amount of bitcoins since bitcoin is the "parent" currency. I don't think bitcoin market is affected by the litecoin value at all.

Are your team planing to make a mobile app for android soon? Or at least a mobile version of web page.. Because is hard to load and manage trades from page for some older android phones (Galaxy S2)
I expect the iOS app to come out first, then the android app. Both are planned, but I don't have an ETA for either. Have you already convinced Apple to accept the app? Because they've not been too friendly when it comes to Bitcoin apps of late. I know. Personally, my preferred priority on this would be: 1) mobile site, 2) android and 3) iOS. But others on the team are confident that the iOS app will be deemed acceptable and the actual company priority is the opposite of my personal preference. Ah well, you can't always get what you want.  why not to create html5 app instead of os specific apps? |

please noooooooo! self-degradation, flagellation and total crucifixion is imminent! Couldn't say it better  +1 Doge coin limit is broken, Doge developers are not supporting it anymore. Because of many people pump moneys in to Doge doesn't make it this currency live cryptocurrency. This was a joke from the beginning, why anyone expect Doge would be seriously maintained. Putting this joke currency here is not a good sign for a serious company. |

Please note that we still have issues with Namecoin transactions, but this should be fixed in a few hours.
Namecoin should be working now as well. So far as we know, all digital currency funding issues have been resolved, so please speak up if you still have an issue. I believe for most the current "issue" is: what is the new currency on kraken?  twitter link disappear from the main site footer? don't you think it can be better to create a blog with announcements instead of using twitter/this thread for that? |

Perhaps bitcoinwisdom should remove MTGOX's price from their site.
I think that MtGOX should remain available in the menu, but not at the top of the list. This I agree with. Remove MtGox from the list of standard exchanges that are easy to access, but keep it in the dropdown menu somewhere. There's no reason to remove it completely, but it should not be prominently displayed either IMO. this should be decided not by people on forum but by popularity on the site, I believe the maintainer will follow that rule. |

Where can I download all historic trades data?
on bitcoincharts.com csv api but you cannot ensure data consistency when using bitstamp api to append new trades to that csv. In October 2013 bitstamp team removed "since" parameter from transaction method. Keeping data consistency in close to real-time requires a lot more support than on the other markets. With init 0.5% fee they should already have it done. |

I have received a lot of requests to remove Mt.Gox from bitcointalk, reddit and twitter. The community's suggestion and advice is always important.
But currently Mt.Gox still has many visitors, about 12% of all. BTC-e BTC/USD is 14%. so there are many people watching Mt.Gox. The alexa rank of Mt.Gox is still 4000 even much higher than Bitstamp. and the price is not Index Price. so it need some buffer time to remove Mt.Gox.
thanks, as long as gox is not insolvent (but only suspended btc withdrawals, fiat withdrawals are working as before) I believe it should not be removed, there are still a huge amount on fiat and btc on users wallets there. Simply the gox is not dead yet. the question to those who wanted to take out the gox from the bitcoinwisdom... now when bitstamp suspend the bitcoin withdrawals, you want to remove it too?  |

Currency pairs have the form XBT/EUR (500 EUR/XBT), LTC/EUR (14 EUR/LTC) and XBT/LTC (40 LTC/XBT). Is there any option to flip the order on XBT/LTC? Such that it's possible to show a) LTC/XBT (in sub-menu LTC?) and b) XBT/LTC (in sub-menu XBT?). Cheers. I would also like to see this option. Peace. I think most engineers and scientists would disagree. XBT/USD notation in the scientific world would mean: XBT per USD. So a notation of USD/XBT would say x USD per Bitcoin. That the forex world uses XBT/USD as "x Bitcoin in USD" confused me a lot in the beginning. Yes, I think your statements are correct, what your saying the current listing of XBT/LTC is actually backwards and should read LTC/XBT. I don't know which way they want to write it and I don't care, I just want to see the conversion shown the opposite way because that's what I'm used to and what most other sites use. if most other sites do mistakes it is better not to go mainstream and clone their mistakes but to make it correct. For the same reason gox and bitstamp have currently suspended bitcoin withdrawals and kraken is working well. LTC/BTC flip was already asked here and discussed around 20-30 pages ago, as per information from there, such flip will not happened. The best solution is to handle flip on your side where you need it, it is not so difficult. |

Any updates about since parameter for transaction api method which was lost in October 2013?
Current solution produce overhead comparing to using "since" where you can grab only what you need.
Why didn't you limit "since" value to one week ago if you don't want to be overloaded by full history downloads via this method.

https://api.kraken.com/0/public/Trades?pair=XXBTZEUR&since=0 will not result the first batch of trades? are there any limits for API trade method's since parameter? If there are, I believe it should be stated in the API docs. And more technical question regarding this api method, why you have decided to return only last tid value instead of this information as additional column for each entry. Data integration benefits are worth such small overhead as one column. Currently it is hard difficult to get some of the market's full trade history, it requires at least integration of bitcoincharts csv and market's api. Gox still provides such capabilities, based on that, their data can be utilized in much more trading engines, they have bigger impact on the btc rates. It is worth to put an effort for easy interface to full trades, if you want to avoid the overloading of server you may always put it as https:// apihistory.kraken.com/0/public/Trades... if order_book method will be overloaded you can also move full order_book the that apihistory api url.

That works the same way you purchase apps. When you click the purchase button, a new screen will open with a description of the item, the price, etc. You can then click buy (which will charge your creditcard) or cancel. I do not have any WP8 experience. So when I would buy credits I transfer fiat currency (which I have on microsoft market) to your microsoft wallet on the market? You may think about the more elegant solution which would utilize our currencies then |

I advice everybody to stay away from kraken.com
I made a euro withdrawal on December 30, 2013. I did not get my money yet. I send them an e-mail and after two weeks they replied that the withdrawal got stuck somewhere. It also said it might take 4 weeks to fix it. Kraken support on reddit tells me other things. There are more people experiencing the same problems.
Kraken.com is either a scam or a terrible exchange with slow to none existent support.
mine 2 SEPA withdrawals done already within EU were delivered in 1-2 days. In my opinion kraken's support is the best from the leading markets, but for sure it can be better. |
