61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: February 17, 2021, 01:14:52 PM
The first problem is the transaction fee of course right now if you are going to withdraw Bitcoin there is a very expensive transaction fee you needed to pay first in order to withdraw in regards with the price 1 Bitcoin is still 1 Bitcoin. 0.001 fixed amount I placed is still 0.001 amount I placed.

That is the annoying part.

I am thinking of saving the amount I am using to bet on some games but then I remember that I need to pay for the transaction fee and that is the one that kept me from saving them so out of my annoyance, I bet some of them and when I cooled down, my .006 which I bet .000001 per roll became .009. I guess I'll keep on betting them rather than just withdraw and save them.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What games are best suitable for PvP gambling? on: February 17, 2021, 11:32:13 AM
In our country, we have this game of cards called lucky 9.

You can read the rules on this site about this game. I think this is the best suitable for PvP gambling and it has no house edge. It is a luck-based game but sometimes you can use your knowledge and skill to be able to make some bluffs that would scare the dealer, or if you are the dealer make a hit. A mobile game, Tongits Go have a lucky 9 game on it, and it is really fun to play.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 17, 2021, 09:51:12 AM
Most of the answers here say about experience or knowledge on the team or the game.

I am kind of curious if there are some bettors here that go against that knowledge? I mean, for example, a team that is expected to dominate that certain season fighting against a not that strong team but you still went for the underdog team. Maybe for the thrill or just maybe for the odds that could give you big winnings if that team actually wins.

Did it a lot of times in an esports tournament but it did not go well.
Because experience and knowledge will have a chance to win because everyone will learn from mistakes, especially knowledge that really supports team selection after being studied well.
I also sometimes bet on the underdog but win the match, and I do it by following my conscience to choose it on the grounds I am not sure about the opponent of the underdog.

There are times that these underdogs win.

Some are just trying their luck or just wanted to be different sometimes if they can win but some are based on some of the information they have or based on what can happen. It is really hard to rely on this as it might not give you the win that you want. It is a risk that you need to take but if you  are confident to take those and won, congratulations then.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits Record $48.2K on: February 14, 2021, 02:12:52 PM
breaks $50k in next 24 hours I believe

I thought it would break $50K today.

The price is increasing to $49.3K, I thought it would continue but it didn't. Maybe it will be trying tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, the price is still going strong so we should really expect that the price will be reaching that price mark. I think the next ATH will be at $51K, I will not be surprised if I sleep today, I will be seeing the price at $50K tomorrow after waking up.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: Manipulation of price will decrease soon? on: February 14, 2021, 01:36:24 PM
I don't think it will decrease, it will continue to happen.

The fact that we are seeing more and more people investing a huge amount of money, will never go away. When we went down to $4K last year, don't you think that is a manipulation for the big guns to come down here? The fact that we burst up to $40K means there is a huge amount of demand that went through, and now we are closing to $50K.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and cryptocurrency on: February 14, 2021, 01:23:43 PM
I am also starting to change the way I use my money, not using cash but instead looking for cryptocurrencies. But this is still limited as it is not of much support in my current life either. Maybe in the time to come when the policy of using cryptocurrency is easier, I believe we will know anti-cash.

But let's be honest, we can't just be anti-cash because we use cryptocurrency.

I know some of us really hate cash or the system behind it but we can't just remove it in this world. Bitcoin will still be Bitcoin, the most popular and most expensive cryptocurrency in this market. IN the future, the higher the price it will have, the more popular it will be and I think that would just be another method of payment in the future, more people will use it and we will not be having a hard time using it.
It is completely impossible to remove fiat currencies because governments can force you to accept them, even if in the future we see a massive crash in fiat currencies to the point that no one trusts in them eventually governments are going to reintroduce those currencies and force people to accept them, and at that point what option businesses are going to have except to comply? However I really expect that as time passes bitcoin really becomes a parallel system that we can use alongside fiat currencies.

That would be the case.

I can see Bitcoin being used in the future but I just hope that it will not be getting at the bad side of the government. If they think that Bitcoin is getting in their way, they would just make laws or create protocols about these cryptocurrencies. They will never be able to stop it but they will be creating limits for people to use it.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: February 14, 2021, 12:32:51 PM
Criminals can use for their activities Not only cryptocurrencies, but also any values that can be used as a means of payment. At least governments today are looking for at least some reason to harm users of cryptocurrency and prohibit cryptocurrency, but I believe they will have to put up with the global trend, since not only ordinary people, but also big business are more and more interested in cryptocurrencies ...

These "big businesses" aim to invest their money in cryptocurrencies.

Not if you are talking about those huge underground groups that are operating illegally or selling illegal things like drugs. As far as I know, all of these new businesses having an interest in cryptocurrencies are those that wanted to invest their money in crypto mainly Bitcoin. Hope the government would not "harm" these new users.

69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 14, 2021, 11:33:31 AM

I guess there's that matter.

But yeah, I agree. It would be a huge fight if Terence Crawford's side accepts this offer. I don't still have any idea about Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford but I don't think that Crawford could have a better offer than this, that is huge money also. $10M is not that bad considering his last fight against Brook gave him a salary of $4M.

If he would resist this, there's only one reason, he is afraid to fight Manny Pacquiao  and want to protect his undefeated record.

Maybe $10 million is not big enough but in this fight he will gain the attention of the world as everyone will be watching this, and more so if he can beat Manny in this fight and that would certainly give him a lot of good fights to come, which means more money for him to make since he is still young.

But it is an aging Manny Pacquiao.

He's not in his prime which means he has a higher chance of winning now. The problem is that money since there is a huge gap between Manny Pacquiao's catch compared to Crawford's. That is a 4:1! That might go more on processing depending on how the two put their terms but I am already hyped since it's been a while since Manny had a match.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 14, 2021, 09:25:07 AM
How about Triple G?

I thought and expecting that it would be Triple G but it is still great as you've said, with Crawford's fight against Thurman. Another thing is that he's also one of the boxers that his trainer said they have their eyes on as Pacquiao's next opponent. And about Terence Crawford, I thought he's being paired to Errol Spence Jr. so I am not expecting that Pacquiao would want him. What happened to that?

Remove Triple G out of the picture, what weight they are going to fight? another catch weight? not good for Manny's legacy, besides it's not a win-win situation for him.

Bud Crawford is a perfect fight for Manny, Crawford has been calling Manny as well, obviously for the biggest paycheck of his career, so it make sense that Bob and Manny sit down and make this fight happen this year. Will be the biggest fight and the money generated could be huge as well.

I guess there's that matter.

But yeah, I agree. It would be a huge fight if Terence Crawford's side accepts this offer. 71  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin is going cross $50k? on: February 14, 2021, 09:16:12 AM
We will be reaching that milestone for sure.

The price is showing its resistance to that price mark but for sure we will be having a touchdown this month. Maybe at the last week of the month as we can still feel the resistance. The price is still sitting at $48K that just means that it is still going strong. Let's be patient as more and more investors will surely help us achieve that price mark.

Who knows, Apple might change their mind about it.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apple is buying Bitcoin on: February 14, 2021, 08:44:29 AM
I would be moderately surprised if Apple bought into BTC directly, it seems completely contrary to their corporate ethos.  They seem to follow a highly centralised, highly controlled approach that is just not aligned with Bitcoin.  I can imagine some sort of controlled access to BTC via Apple Pay similar to the PayPal setup but it won't be "real" bitcoin ownership.

That might change.

Tesla already bought Bitcoin and there are rumours about Apple and Amazon following the move of Tesla. It is still a rumour so I am not expecting that they will actually do it still, with the current demand, I think they will reconsider especially Amazon. In terms of Apple, I don't think they will be following the steps of Paypal if they actually take that step. It will be more like them accepting Bitcoin to their products.
If you are an investor, you will forget that thing. Just focus on bitcoin price movement so you will get a profit from it. The mass adoption has came, we don't need to doubt which company who will accept bitcoin anymore, they will accept it eventually. Our efforts to support bitcoin became a future technology that will be used by most people is coming so we have to create another target from it, I myself will focus on buying bitcoin as much as I can. I'm happy that I still here until now and I must happy as well when bitcoin has a high price. Remember this quote, by the rumor and sell the news, that will help you earn money from bitcoin.

I can't "forget" that and as an investor, you should know that.

There is no way that investors would miss that information because it could give you information and add to your analysis about a certain movement that will happen. If they invested, that would be a huge pump that will happen, that also means that we need to reinvest, if we can. These things could fruit into your profit so you don't need to "forget" this news.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here's Why Ethereum Could Beat Bitcoin As Best Asset Of 2021 on: February 14, 2021, 08:40:49 AM
Good luck with that.

You could lay all of the reasons why it could be the beat Bitcoin but Bitcoin being the top of the market is inevitable. It is true that there are a lot of cryptocurrencies being made under the Blockchain of Ethereum but that also makes it the worst as not all of these cryptocurrencies being made are legitimate and getting successful.

Most of the time, when a cryptocurrency pumps, they trade it for Bitcoin as more investors believe in Bitcoin than Ethereum.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon is setting up to launch their own digital currency on: February 13, 2021, 01:44:57 PM
Another altcoin in the making, or is it?

Is it just the title of that article or Amazon is really making a digital currency that would "rival" Bitcoin? It is not specified in the article so maybe that is just the part of the author of this article. Other articles about it just talk about Amazon preparing/working on a Digital Currency that would be launched in Mexico. This just means that they are crossed out in accepting Bitcoin.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Three Indians arrested over illegal betting in ZACS on: February 13, 2021, 01:33:02 PM
They might know someone working there.

Maybe one of them already knew the place or someone to let them through. Since they are so strict when it comes to gambling, for sure it is an inside job as @harizen said. For three people to get through strict security, I don't think it will be that easy. Fans or viewers are not allowed in there, they really asked for it.

77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice games on: February 13, 2021, 10:08:46 AM
The issue is that the maximum bet is limited. Huge funds won't help you to reach too far. I believe dice game was meant to test gamblers luck in short run (if so they will be nicely rewarded), and not to become a long run source of income as some people imagine nowadays due to the low bets possibilility and automatic bots.

Huge funds can help you.

That is why if you have the money to lose, you could really take your losses back if you will be using martingale. Although you should not rely on that because that might also eat you up. This betting system might help you take back your losses but you will never know how lucky you are until 10 or more lose streaks stomp you.
78  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When you did first trade was you trained? Any jokes happen to you? on: February 13, 2021, 10:03:46 AM
Wait man, Smiley if you sell your coin after 1-2 satoshi more then how you double + your money? Was you trading only low satoshi coins ex, 10-20 satoshi. Otherwise I can not calculate that only 1-2 satoshi profit could give profit double+ in a month.

Btw when I made first trade I was not trained even I did not know how it works. After that an admin of cryptopia help me to do trade. But the funny things is after I selling the coin I can not withdraw the fund because what I deposited was a very simple amount and in btc is was lower than the withdrawal fees. Lol

This is my first facepalm too.

My friend taught me to trade and I am not that focused when he's teaching me not hearing that there is a certain amount so I could withdraw but what I heard is that it is the maximum amount I can withdraw. So I thought that the small amount I traded, I can withdraw easily. The worst part is that I thought it is just lagging because he's behind me when I am doing it not seeing that I can't withdraw it because it is less than the amount that I can withdraw.

I'm even so proud when I've done that.
79  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: February 13, 2021, 04:15:32 AM
Yes people can get rich in trading but not in an instant. And it also depends on how much you’ve invested and for how long too. I know someone who’ve invested his last pay at work and every time bitcoin reaches a new ATH he would announce how much he profited. But I don’t think he ever withdrew his profits and kept hodling up until now.

Trading and investing are different from each other. As jjdub7 posted in this thread,

You need skills to succeed in both.

Trading is more rewarding, but it's 'active'. You have to follow news, indicators, and so on daily.

On the other hand, investing is more passive after the initial due diligence where to put the money...

I think you are talking about investing and not trading. We can all get rich through trading, but it is not that easy. We can talk about how we should control our emotions, what we should do in a certain movement or anything like that but it will all still end up on how you will be managing your funds and your investments.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Crash? on: February 13, 2021, 03:55:59 AM
I don't think it will be crashing anytime soon.

There are a lot of times that dumps happened but it just came back up. That just proves that it can just dump and come back up. I agree that when we talk about the crash, that means no demand at all but with what we have right now, I don't think that is just possible. At this point, crash seems so impossible to me to happen.
