Depends on if you're good at trading or not. If not then no you can make a loss too and more people might make a loss than a gain unless you're doing some "proper" analysis of what you're doing.

Investing is essentially slow trading so I'd start with that and see how you do (eg pick an altcoin to put a small investment in and see how it does - then repeat if it profits).

Yeah, that's what I thought. IMO, since investing are likely slow trading then I think it is perfect for newcomers since they don't need to make an in-depth analysis of the market because you could have just bought some good tier coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum then hold it for a time, doesn't need that much experience. Unlike in trading which is kinda more complicated than investing because you need actually to make TA every time. It does need experience and knowledge as well otherwise all of your trade will be a mess. They can be both profitable but it always depend on how you will handle them.

I'm doing investing and it's more fruitful and effective to me. Not every trader is profitable. You don't like to put much effort, investing is for you. But if you like adventures on a daily basis with the market, trading is for you.

Know where you're good at and to me, investing is a comfort.

There is no definitive answer, it depends on; 
What kind of trading? Many people lose, especially if you don't know how to do it properly.
What kind of investing?
What is the object?
What is the strategy?
How long it takes?
If buying bitcoin now and waiting for a year to sell it, do you call it trading or investing?
Most people will refer to the time frame, in the short term is called trading and the long term is investing, but it kinda the same. How about the profit? Trading might offer to maximize profit but only if you buy and sell at the right time, otherwise investing is the right choice.

Firstly remember for trading you need invest first after that trading is your choice. But invest is must needed. Now its your choice how much you want to do. Now i come to your point if you think you have to made more profit in short time plus you want to calculate your profit in month to month then you can enter in trading but if you do not want this then just invest and wait that much time that you feels you got your profit. But in trading you can generate profit everyday if you can trade like a winner. Remember nor a trader can win or profit everyday. There's a twist on that, because if you're investing you must trade in order to take your gains. So, trading in the same way can be appreciated only as investments when holdings an asset for long term. But trading, I see a high risk in this but if you are good at this job, you can generate profit more than the amount of what you possibly get from just investing.

Trading can be considered as investment but it seems you do differentiate them basing on  time frame.
Investing = Long term
Trading = Short term

On the question on which one does have an advantage then it would depend on you.Making profits is the most common target between the two, if you are doing well with trading then stick to it
but if not then long term aspect would be for you.It does depend on someones capability or capacity on how you do deal with the market.
Advantage for some people because it is really better to see profits in shorter time frame but this wont really be an easy one.

I would say Investing is the way to go if you are new to trading.

Trading takes more energy and time but could in turn gives you bigger profit if you could always get profit on your trade(which is kinda hard) on maybe consistent basis like daily or weekly meanwhile investing is like making your money work for you and you just get some profit without doing anything which also means lesser profit but in crypto considering how volatile it is, my statement above might become irrelevant, you can for example do a trade and get profit but sometimes lose then those bag holder could still make some good profit that exceeds yours despite doing nothing because crypto ROI has shown to be astronomically high, it all depends actually.

If you can win most of your trades, then yes. Investing is more of a long term plan for your money to create more money while reducing the risks of you losing it. It's basically the safer type of money makes money process. On the other hand, Trading is the riskier type BUT it can provide you with more profits. It's mostly short-term profits ofc, and you're basically going for high-risk high rewards type of gamble. Not to mention that most of your time would be invested in studying different charts and the like based on your investment. Basically, the bare minimum for trading is that you have time in your hands, and if not, then it'd probably be better to invest instead.

It is logical because you are liking it. What's logical to mw is by being both. Yes, if you can do both of it, that is much better.

I know investors and traders at the same time in real life. They invest in different assets while not forgetting their trades. It is a combination and profitable to those who can do both.

Depends on your knowledge since if you don't know about trading then go with investing but make sure to go on legit platforms, but expect to get a slow growth here since remember the legit ones give low returns and if somebody tell that they will give you a big return of investment then that is scam.

• See my analysis. Even if you have very weak hands and shake out your bitcoin at lowest (minimum) price of every next months, you would still get huge profits.

• You don't mind much about market trend. It is true if you don't open a position at the time that is closely to a coming crash. For most of time, trend don't affect your trading orders.
• If you are able to know the period around any crash, you would close all your positions and wait for market confirmations before open new positions. Should exit as you can not make 100% accurate predictions/ forecasts
• But your emotion affects. Even if you win big, you can lose them all fastly. The more positive mood you have, the worse decisions you can make that in turn steal all profit superb quickly.

Those are both profitable it depends on you how it works. In short term trading you can earn and set a daily quota but again don't trade that you cant afford. Recommend to use the Isolation trading, not in the cross (just a suggestion). An investment you need to have a lot of patience because it takes weeks... months.. to get your profit, but in my case, I prefer to do both not all the time we got lucky in trading still there is a chance you could earn and meet your daily expectation. If you are asking what coin, strategy, technique, time to make the trade I cannot answer you we have different ways to trade and earn.

It's better to use other people as inspiration but if you want to follow them there is nothing wrong with here but its better if you develop your own technique to earn a profit.
