Yes almost double  Grin
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: December 07, 2013, 03:35:14 AM
I know this is a dumb question but I have to ask.  Huh
How do you guys see the stats such as PPS etc when you have started JH from a batch file? Are you writing this out to a log file?
Also anyone know if this is a strong config for Xeon 24 thread CPU? I will post the rate I am mining at if I can figure out how to do it.

jhPrimeminer-T16.exe -u worker -p pass -m 53 -m2 59 -m3 61 -m4 67 -o ypool.net:8083

Thanks DBA

Anyone with any input? I have access to many different types of processors and will gladly post the results.

It is very difficult to see forum members holding on to the belief :

I must do a btc roi

Why is it difficult? It's very simple: I believe we are going to make more btc keeping the miners mining than we are selling them.

Yes we have ROI'd in fiat currencies, but we haven't yet in BTC. We paid 0.63BTC per share and have received 0.21BTC. This means that we have less btc now than when we started, this is a bad thing.

If we keep hashing at 8GH/s with a difficulty jump of 80% every month, we will have mined 0.35BTC by the end of april. That's more than the 0.16BTC we'll have selling the hardware at todays exchange rate. That 0.16BTC will be even less by the time the sell of the hardware has been made.

If you're meaning to sell these shares to buy into R17, I advise against it. Not that R17 is a bad deal (I don't think so, I have bought shares in R17), but if you sell shares in one round at a loss to buy into a next round, that might lead to continous losses every time a more profitable round shows up. By the time R17 started hashing, difficulty might have risen that much that you would come to the thought of selling those shares to invest in another round again.

Agree with this but also see this point.
tgbtg

R9-12 should be producing 2.3745 BTC at the current difficulty rating.

As of this writing, the 24 BTC for R9-12 is 1.67354500. The next projected difficulty is showing as 889,752,235 and if R9-12 were at 3.34GH/s this would be 1.8879 BTC for a 24 hour period.

I do appreciate ALL THE HARD WORK Bob has put into getting R9-12 up and running, but if this equipment is not going to meet the 3.34GH/s, I say we put it to a GB vote and move forward.

It would be easier to make a decision if the hashing was maxed. DMZ made an official poll in the KNC perhaps we should do that too.

I want to chime in here as I have what I would consider a fairly significant investment. In most GB's the GB coordinator(s) are not responsible for the hash rate against advertised hash rate. These boards have obviously been a challenge from the beginning. We knew were getting bleeding edge when this whole thing started. They (Black Arrow) are not shipping product until Feb 2014. I would think they would want our products to perform to avoid a bad rep and I can only assume they are trying as hard as they can.
I don't really care at this point what the majority vote turns out to be but I do want to say this..

These guys have done a unbelievable job with the coordination, setup and constant monitoring. I have been part of several so called investments and I have been fucked by 2/3 of them. In no case have I seen guys go this type of distance to make things "right".

Regardless how this turns out I want to thank you guys for making this as good as it could be.  Smiley

We haven't F'd you we made sweet sweet love....lol

Oh BOY  Grin

Whatever makes your life easier is what I am up for. If selling makes you guys sleep better by all means pull the trigger.

Agree with OP you only have a few minutes before the Fees become useless at least for now.
Man I really feel sorry for those that are invested in Fees. It seems like a great idea and I commend him for be innovative but this proves that nothing of this magnitude can be run by one person.

There are millions of dollars at stake here, this is looking like the crypto scam of all time.

Essentially the people that paid 0.4BTC per fee share float recently have been scammed, without trade the promise of those fee shares is now worthless, they can't be used elsewhere, there should be refunds.

Again I feel for anyone that got worked on this. I had coins tied up in Fees when they were over 1 BTC. High BTC price versus USD made me think about and I got lucky.

My answer is:

Stupid stupid stupid mother fuckers..

The correct answer is at the bottom of the page quote:

"But it’s clever to let old fashionned financial services think they can come securely to bitcoin, then making big benefit off the predicable bubble banksters will trig…
You can be sure that bitcoin will desappear as soon as such a regulation will come, there is already some alternative crypto-currencies waiting for this to happen.
Here is how you banksters have already been fooled, bitcoin get is value from its own properties, not from what your speculative mind decide, and bitcoin – like a witch promise – will desapear as soon as you will pretend to get it, to reborn in a land you don’t mind it could exist…"

credit card purchases please! Smiley

Also, when will there be some 28nm asic group buys? I hesitate to buy the bitfury 55nm.
We'll be talking to someone about the credit card part tomorrow and see how that goes.

28nm will be as soon as someone starts to produce one, hmm I think R3/R4 are 28nm from hashfast if I'm not mistaken

74  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Official btcQuick Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: October 22, 2013, 04:02:59 PM
Just dropping in to say Thank you. BTCquick always responds to my inquiries promptly and gets the problem solved within hours. Thank you btcQuick. Your team does a professional job.

You must be special because I can't get any type of answer via PM, support tickets or forum posts even after a week has gone by. To top that off order gets cancelled with no response or reason. If you are going to pay a premium for BTC there are better options to say the least.

Orders are not cancelled for "no reason" - Your order was cancelled for being considered "High Risk"

Here are the facts:
My original question still has not been answered.
No explanation whatsoever was given for why the order was cancelled. I followed the protocol including opening a ticket, sending PM's, posting my order number here.
If the order was "high risk" why have two more orders been processed since then with no issue with the same card?

I speculate with good reason that there was an issue with the order system and you are not honoring those orders because of the BTC price increase. If that is the case it should just be posted and be done.

You have a good service but the support is almost non existent.
Coinbase will be accepting cards soon enough, when there is more competition perhaps you will be reflecting on these times.

There are many things that go into fraud detection. The price increase has nothing to do with as we buy bitcoins actively with each order. Feel free to send me an email to continue this discussion.

If this is the email address  customerservice@btcquick.com I have already done that with no response. I don't see this getting resolved anyway. What is the purpose of having a support ticketing system if it is ignored? Like I said I already tried every channel I know of but it's pointless.
I wish you success because the service is good just giving feedback on the support. Basically customers better hope they don't have an issue with an order or it will be like pulling teeth to get it resolved.

Thanks! Nice to know who it was, even though I don't mind if people want to stay incognito.

We were just discussing this on Skype. We meet up quite a bit on side channels to improve coordination and communications.

==

BTW, we're no longer taking any more PP funds for Round 10 or Round 8.

Sorry, we've been getting swamped by those & we're all full up.

==

If you're in the US, we recommend Cash into coins for 3% or Coinbase.

http://cashintocoins.com/
http://coinbase.com/

For international customers, I recommend Bitstamp as that's the exchange rate we use, and they also have low fees.

Bobsag3 will be accepting wire transfers (for 20+ shares) and chase quick pay (any quantity of shares). and credit cards by Square https://squareup.com/market/miner-hosting-llc/share-r-bitfury-gh-s-min-ups-backup

Thomas_s will be accepting TD bank and CitiBank (USA) checks (any quantity of shares). At this time no other banks checks are being accepted.

*These payment options are only available for Rounds that don't need BTC conversions. (At the moment the only open Round(s) is/are 10)

I've also located the reason for the zombie rounds...apparently there is a bug in the site where it reduces the stock when the order is placed and when it is paid.

The updates on the forum were going by what the site displayed which was effectively doubling what was actually sold so that's where those shares magically popped up from

Thomas to be clear is it 20+ shares for wire transfers, quick pay and the credit card link or only 20+ for wire transfer?
