On a related note, the BTC trades usually for 1-2 EUR higher on bitcoin.de.

We will reach $35 next week.
63  Economy / Service Discussion / BitFog - mixer on Tor: any feedback? on: February 19, 2013, 09:38:58 PM
Hey.

I have just googled bitfog, but I really can't seem to find any kind of comments on the service? It seems to only be reachable over the Tor network and also offers wallets.

I didn't try it yet, so I have no idea about the fees, but I would guess it's cheaper than the blockchain.info service with 1.5% fee.

I don't know how long it has been around, but I guess new services are always prone to be a scam and at the same time suffer from bad reputation/mistrust in case of legit operation.

So if anyone knows anything, let me know, I might test it.

Regards,
Me.
64  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum - Bitcoin client for the common users (friendly and instant) on: February 19, 2013, 09:08:49 PM
Oh, and before I forgot: I love the client. It's exactly the kind of usability the average consumer will need.

He can't see the closed/assigned issues and the comments on the issues? My bad.

Why all the animosity? Spread the love!

Your pre-poster is right - I signed up to github just to post this, so I'm not exactly an experienced user. Even with closed bug reports, it could be that the response on github is a lot slower than on the forum, so I was just asking to know where I should rather post in the future. I plan to stick around for a while.

There is a bug in the ordering of dependent transactions from the same block:

https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/146

Also, more importantly, Electrum has DNS leaks when using Socks and is thus jeopardizing privacy & anonymity when using Tor.

https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/147

Does someone ever read the bugs submitted on github by the way? Wink

I want to submit a bug report for Electrum in the forum, but couldn't. But since this will be my fifth post, you won't need to whitelist me anymore.

It's been annoying. I don't want to spam other threads, yet I need the posts to post relevant stuff later.

I was born paranoid anyway.

I think this rule is really stupid. Wouldn't it be enough to impose some kind of account age restriction? Anyone can spam in the newbie section to get the post count, even if they troll / post spam on the real board.

Hi. I'm gonna be rich soon. Ty.
