Hi Coin Pumper I am long sighted, hence the font, thanks for re posting Hi all,
It appears a bit gloomy in here , maybe my situation is different
than others.
I don't mine, I just invest, for me.. short term vision does not work,
you have to see potential, 2 years ago I remember a lot of my
friends laughing at me "you and that stupid Monopoly Money
blah, blah, blah, you purchased 5,000 bits of worthless
computer code LOL, their ignorance is my bliss .
The ironic part of that is that I am not a geek or IT orientated
but I can sniff a bargain from a thousand miles.
I still have 2,500 Bitcoin's converted some to fiat, ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)
" I know LOL" spent some on goodies , and
reinvested the rest.
Of course you want to know where,....... well I waited and I
watched, in the interim I dabbled here a little there, made
some further research, noted the predicted Pumps and the
Dumps the scam's and the FUD, propaganda, real organised BS.
Then early December I came across Earthcoin EAC for first time,
gave it a cursory glance, whilst I was researching another
alt coin, "which I will not mention here" I came across
some information that caused me to investigate Earthcoin EAC,
due diligence I think they call it, some refer it to as potential,
anyway no more to be said, that's where my other BTC went.
The majority of people who speculate or invest in crypto currency
have a very narrow short term perspective, they look at the
exchange trading chart's, listen to so called day trader's in
cheap suits, "no offence to cheap suits" looking to make a
quick buck, nothing wrong with that, if you want to make
$200 or $300 here or there.
You also have the people who mine a coin, majority of them shoot
themselves in the foot because they are their worst enemy, as for
dev's well I will that leave that for another time, but if any of you
have invested in Earthcoin and what a Pump and Dump good luck
with that, and for those that have panic sold or sold because they
are impatient thank you. If you have invested in Earthcoin, in my honest opinion lock two thirds
of it safely away, with the other third get proactive and utilise it,
spend it on anywhere that takes it, give some of it to a good cause's,
friends or family the ideas are endless.
Things are going to surprise you in the Crypto world, Bitcoin is not going
to be where you think it should, be in the near future, don't misunderstand
me it will still be around, but there are two other coins that will ascend
above it, one is for fun, and the other is EAC,
Hindsight is a wonderful thing , hold on tight to those coins people.
PS, Please do not inundate me with request's that I
substantiate or validate the above, I am not a financial expert,
do as you please it is your choice.
Best Regards
Stop posting big font like that, if you have to increase your font to get attention then you are just "trying" to get attention. You can't just say EAC will rise beyond BTC with just air behind it. So many innovating coins trying to get to LTC but can't even come close, let alone BTC which has gotten ahead due to being first in. Worldcoin is similar and tries to replace LTC but struggling to get anywhere near... Im not trying to hate or troll but everyone here just blindly keeps saying "invest in EAC, it'll be #1 coin in one year" when the dev's haven't even updated us on what it is that "we're working and it's going to be big"

Earthcoin EAC Everyone's Alternative Currency

Earthcoin EAC would be a great addition, would show how progressive your site is.

I would not concern yourself to much with that amount, I have made several such transaction in the last 24 hrs, it is a nominal amount in the big scheme of things

The infrastructure of this community is very interesting, although I do not understand all the Shibe reference etc etc, but solely on a observation basis,..... correct me if I am wrong, the ethos of the community is to tip or reward any deserving online party with Dogecoin, therefore aiding the recipient with doge, and giving credibility to the coin enhancing its value, very clever. :-) Good luck with your endeavors

Organic LOL, sorry. In the UK we have little shops that sell stamps and stuff! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) LOL Sorry I am based in the UK also, no offence just my sarcasm ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Organic
Crack it on the opening line there!
Crypto currency is tricky to the un-initiated and whilst I'm not a rocket scientist I enjoy tinkering with the PC and getting it to do stuff faster, this is why I do it and not to make a ton of money (that is a side effect). I think a lot of people do this for a hobby. I suggest you wait for the dust to settle when cryto currency can be bought at your local post office and buy some then.
:-) (no offense, I understand your frustrations)
No offence taken ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) what's a post office?

This fucking coin is broken once again... Isn't there going to be a permanent fix for this synch issue?
Yeap I couldn't sync, so I went to sexcoin.info, went to the cleints section and downloaded the blockheight check disabled client, which "fixs" the issue.. No more downloads... The permanent fix would be to swap from the litecoin network to a unique network, and lava figured it out ,coded it in, and it tested fine.. But it requires a hardfork.. We discussed this in the development team, I was for simply offering the one client, Lava wanted the blockheight check enabled client.. My view was he was putting a time limit on the hardfork, and every time that limit was missed people would get pissed off when they couldn't sync, his view was if they couldn't sync they'd have to download the new client for the hardfork, which would make life easier for us.. So there you go... Now you know the why of it.... Unfortunately, maybe I am just dumb, I am not a geek or read code, just a newbie, just purchased sexcoins last year, it took me over
three days to get the wallet to open and sync.
To be honest it has only worked for thee days I did one test transfer from Cryptsy in November last year with only 10 coins, it worked fine for two days,
but I have left a substantial amount of coins with cryptsy,I was too scared to put them in the wallet. In the interim of that time I have been
to embarrassed to bother you guys again, and I believe Lava is working on a new client, notwithstanding the fact I have made over thirty attempts to
synch the wallet again, and have trial Winzip and rar file downloads all over my Fxxking laptop . Even though I do not mine or know what a block
chain is even if it kicked me in the nuts , I have managed to utilise other wallets of other coins, maybe they are just user friendly, and when
I say user friendly, I mean your average person who does not know software or has a degree in computer engineering.
I am not knocking you guys, because I can see the amount of effort you have put into this project, but maybe you should step outside of the IT community
that you inhabit, and maybe realise that the majority of people do not have a clue of what you are talking about. Not only do they not have a clue, they are
not that interested to delve under the hood so to speak.
Crypto currency is an exciting adventure, money and finance is evolving, and I want to be part of that, but Jesus guys.... I don't want to
become a rocket scientist to use it.
It's Monday morning and I am pissed off after another attempt of trying to get this wallet to work, winzip trial has now expired.
Please oh pretty please do not refer me to the thousand of links that you have, I can see them,
Very simple, if you cannot provide an easy tutorial guide for dummies like me to utilise your wallet, I will sell my substantial amount of coins and
not disturb you anymore.

I don't think Icke is very relevant to Earthcoin, it's The People's TV's image we need to be concerned with. Alex Jones accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin and I haven't heard anyone screaming bloody murder over it. So until proven otherwise I feel this is an excellent advertising platform. Like it or not, Icke has a following and I'm willing to bet a good chunk of them are already into digital currencies and would be willing to expand their portfolios.

guys we're introducing them to this cryptocoin world. most people have no idea what it is!
it doesn't matter the coin number we give, it's a novelty thing to share, many will become interested and search more about it
I want to stress a lot about the importance to have the platforms and socials already ready and populated before you do something like that. People want trust and ease of use, as of today if we do something like that, 99% of those flyers and EACs will be lost, and the brand will lose credibility on the eyes of others, more then gain. What people will do as soon as they got the flyers: A lot will just trash it to the bin, but let's talk about all of them that really go home interested to know more, they do that: Google, look for trust (top socials engagments, facebook, twitter etc.) If they are ok with it as a lot of people like EAC and talk about it on "officials" channels, they will look for the easiest way to use it. If they don't meet those criteria they will immediately forget about EAC and you lose the only one shot you have with them, and if they will ear about EAC again, even if in better shape that would be more reluctant to know about it. I agree with you, so please spread the word that you want an EAC wallet
listed on a TV Channel next to Bitcoin and Litecoin, only one person from this thread
has responded, please respond to Link for details http://earthcointalk.org/forums/topic/earthcoin-the-peoples-voice-tv-david-icke/I like the Idea. Really. I like it and if I saw a way I would do it, but... i guys of this collar size wont listen to a few fanboy which write an email coincidentially when they get a demand of beeing part of their donater... I think we show instead a too small collar size when we write an email... so im afraid I wont email them. That looks like we are kiddies... imho! Sorry go to the link and read the post, all you have to do is send an email, the same amount of time it takes you to make a post on this forum.
They have written back to me I posted the copy of the Email.
The reason they have Bitcoin and Litecoin Wallets is because I suggested that to them last year.
Earthcoin is anew currency but just like getting listed on Crystpy you have to show, there is a demand.
We are trying to legitimise a coin that has been just rellased last month, and there is an opportunity
to have it associated with an online TV Channel that has thousands of viewers, notwithstanding the fact it is
called The Peoples Voice, and you throw the idea in the bin? Ok no need to fret! I just sent a wordy email to TPV. Nice idea BTW. Are we sure we want to be associated with David Icke? Icke was a TV sports presenter and pro-footballer here in the UK when, in the nineties, he gave an interview and pronounced himself the "son of godhead" - he is a national laughing stock, no-one takes him seriously. Is it not the case that being associated with him will give the general public an easy stick with which to beat EAC, make us look like we also believe in a reptilian royal family? I'm not sure they are the kind of connotations we want for EAC. I do understand your concerns, but aren't you already tarred with that brush for being involved with Bitcoin and Crypto currency, oh OMG and silk road
drug dealing whoooah scary.
Times are changing people are waking up , the powers that be have discredited and divided people for millennium with all kinds of FUD, and in respect of the
nineties it is 2014 and Icke is not a laughing stock any more, unless you're related to Terry Wogan.
I also think EAC has attracted enough trolling without any assistance from David Icke LOL, have you been reading this thread wow.
What I am positive about is legitimacy and exposure, that normally cost thousands, please share your alternatives I'm all ears... Errr, he is a laughing stock, only recently he was described as a "mad conspiracy theorist" in the Telegraph. You need to remember that the vast majority of the UK gets it's news from the main stream media and nowhere else. They haven't had their eyes opened at all, when they hear Icke mentioned all they think of is "son of godhead" and reptilian royals, then they have a good giggle. It's not about trolling, most EAC users will never visit this site, it's about being taken seriously. My suggestion? If this is the way ahead, just don't ever mention Icke's name, always refer to People's TV. Do you live in the UK? I have no problem about his name, and the fact you quote the Telegraph enough said, lets move on. Glad you agree this is the way ahead, here is the link for email to People's TV : http://earthcointalk.org/forums/topic/earthcoin-the-peoples-voice-tv-david-icke/

Icke may have been the Catalyst for The Peoples voice but if you head over there you will see that that he has taken no part in the content creation or I believe the running of the channel,so no harm done as far as I am concerned. and there is literally tons of interesting information you will most certainly not find in the mainstream media outlets, so to support them in their endeavours is a noble act IMO. I agree, he does have some interesting stuff to say in amongst the completely barking stuff, but the merest mention of Icke in the UK tends to destroy your credibility. What part of the UK are you talking about?Well, the UK, I don't get your question. Well you said the merest mention of Icke in the UK tends to destroy your credibility, do you live in a thriving progressive multicultural
dynamic city or town, or do you live in a quite backwater where they serve lashings of ginger beer?Ok silence about the location of where you live in the UK and no alternative ideas, great we can move on.

calm down ^^ ... i sent tha email...
where the dev's are?
well... since this is longterm eac has maybe 1 or 2 years to grow... devs cannot be here for years. they have a life to live...
but 1 thing is important.... i really want to have a better official website instead of earthcoin.biz because it is good for infos and stuff but all in all it looks worst.
Nice one you're back on my xmas card list ;-), in respect of the website I am not a website designer but I share your opinion, but it needs to be sharp I like the idea the of the
different charities that people could choose to donate there introductory EAC to,
|
|
|
oh dont get me wrong... sry if i made you mad or so... i just think it is never good to force someones decision. if they listen to your word anyway, why do you bother?
emailing with: "Hey I saw your tv-show; and I support earthcoin. Would be nice if you add it!" or so would make them think about why we write in the exact moment you ask them for. thats what i think
Ok I will explain a bit more, the The Peoples Voice ( TPV ) Online TV Channel was devolpoed and created by David Icke , who now has a large following
of like minded people. It is based in London, it is a brand new Tv channel, it is not CNN or BBC or FOX, as they develop and grow they have funding campaigns
for advertising and sponsorship. They are not funded by the government, the fact they even have Bitcoin and Litecoin wallets should tell you something
that they are a bit more progressive. Earthcoin has a great logo branding and community, if ( TPV ) require funding they will be interested in the source of
donation.,
If they sense that legitimate alternative crytpo currency has a base that will or could provide funding they will utilise it If all the public, charities and
organisations see a video or a logo of Earthcoin next to Bitcoin and Lite coin, it will provide massive exposure and kudos for Earthcoin. I am not knocking any
other ideas but if you stand on a street conor with a Earthcoin paper wallet disclosing 1 EAC it will end up in the bin discrediting the coin. One hour of Earthcoin
being on TPV is worth twenty thousand flyers, Now all you have to do, is send an email, you can paste the copy of the one I have done for the people who do
not speak write good english., Remember this coin is named Earthcoin it is not a flyer for a club or goodnight out.
You may disagree, with what I say, ok but your resistance to send an email, no money required no EAC required,, to benefit a community or a coin that I
suppose you have invested in, is very bizarre, why will you not do that simple thing? will it notbenefit you and the Earthcoin community as a whole
notwithstanding the kudos it gives to the coin.
One thing I think has been overlooked by a lot of people, is the presentation of the coin, this coin has come under a massive troll and discredit campaign, in an
attempt to ruin the coin why, because it can become great, it has everything speed, name, presentation, innovation, humanity the list is endless, I don't even
believe that the developers fully understand what a goldmine they have, "but that is another story" .
I'm not having ago at you, well I am, sorry for that frustration, some good ides are coming out now people are getting re focused on the job in hand, we are going
to miss a big opportunity here if we do not respond quickly, the silence of the devs is deafening where are they? Please see link: http://earthcointalk.org/forums/topic/earthcoin-the-peoples-voice-tv-david-icke/
