61  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 10 + years on: June 15, 2017, 09:50:16 AM
I think Bitcoin will have much more stable price.
and then you'll be able to use it in a day-to-day purchases like any other currency.
even now, more and more merchants are using bitcoin, and even countries are starting to accept it.
So in ten years it will be just part of our life.

In the matter of BTC/USD price, I believe it will stabilize at around 20,000 USD per BTC.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fifa Confederations Cup 2017 discussion and predictions Thread on: June 15, 2017, 09:43:49 AM
For me Portugal and Chile will be the ultimate final.
I believe Chile will take the cup after winning the first place on group B.
Portugal will have harder time when they will face Germany on the semifinal.
But then again, you should never underestimate the Germans...
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 15, 2017, 09:39:48 AM
Here are the teams participating in the next Serie A 2017/18 and their coaches:

Juventus - Allegri
Napoli - Sarri
Inter - Spalletti
Ac Milan- Montella
Roma - Di Francesco
Fiorentina- Pioli
Lazio - Inzaghi
Atalanta -Gasperini
Torino - Mihajlovic
Sampdoria - Giampaolo
Genoa - Juric
Bologna - Donadoni
Cagliari - Rastelli
Chievo Verona - Maran
Hellas Verona - Pecchia
Udinese - Del Neri
Spal - Semplici

Last indefinite:

Sassuolo - Bucchi/Nicola
Crotone -   Nicola (if he doesn't go to Sassuolo)
Benevento or Carpi (playoff)

Maybe next season will not change much because all the teams are focused on being able to end the dominance of Juventus every season, all the Serie A team have to fight hard to beat defending champion Serie A for six consecutive years.

Since Juventus mission for the next season is to won the Champions League, they might slip in Serie A and loose some unnecessary points.
I think this is the only chance the other teams have to win the Scudetto.
But even so, I don't believe it will be enough, since Juve is making their bench stronger this summer and they will have enough players to go with full power on all tournaments.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining with ZedBoard FPGA - Looking for firmware/software on: June 15, 2017, 09:34:45 AM
Hi,

I have a couple of ZedBoard FPGAs from a project that's just finished, and I thought to use them now for mining.
The problem is that I don't have the proper firmware/software to do it.
Where can I find such a thing?
What coins should I mine to gain a decent profit through FPGA mining?
Anyone here has an experience with FPGA mining?
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the steps to take not to regret any Hardfork? on: June 15, 2017, 09:19:52 AM
I have been trying to read a lot about the possible hardfork, though I still get a little bit confused on some of the steps to take and i am sure some newbies don't even know if they are in danger of loosing their coins or not. For example, I know it is a necessity to move your coins to a wallet you can control the private keys or find out if the web wallet you are using will be ready to adjust to both sides after the fork or not. I know there are some things one might still need to consider as well which I don't have a clue. Also, what is the best light desktop wallet to use for a newbie from experience to help achieve being able to control one's private keys? I hope this helps me and other newbies as well.

I dont know if those could elaborate things but hardfork is like an ungrade for the blockchain. There have been people who made some invalid transactions or the block hash that blockchain is using for each blocks of btc. So with the fork, it will kind of validate those transactions and probably every user who had some erros or even increase fees will have to upgrade there core or their version of block chain. That is what i've researched so far.

So it won't really affect us?
Is it more like a software update and that's it?
What are the risks in Hardfork and what should we do to eliminate them?
Is keeping your bitcoins in paper wallet will help or just the opposite?
66  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITCOIN SPORTS BETTING BOOK RANKINGS - 2017 UPDATED! on: June 15, 2017, 08:51:55 AM
Any recent review on cloudbet in terms on winning withdrawals. Please share your experience.

I placed a bet with them on the Champions League Final.
The deposit was pretty fast, and I choose this site because he had the best odds.
I lost (Juventus in my blood for good and for worst), so I can't tell anything about withdrawal.
I'll give them about 4 out of 5, but again, my experience is very partial.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: June 15, 2017, 08:45:31 AM
This why i trust bitcoin so much, i believe i will become millionaire someday with a help of bitcoin. i do save and invest bitcoin for my future goals. i know a lot who makes million thru bitcoin and that is really inspiring. everyday i will work hard on this and believe on bitcoin. one day i will become a millionaire.

In my country they say "Who is rich? He who is contented with his lot"
So Bitcoin will make you rich only if you'll be happy with the things you can get using it.
It doesn't matter what's the BTC/USD rate, as long as you can live your life with the amount you have.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 Football Summer Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 15, 2017, 08:37:34 AM
Ac Milan has bought from Porto the young talent Andrè Silva, 21 years old, for 38M. He has already scored 7 goals in 8 games played with Portugal, and Cristiano Ronaldo has said he is a great player and will definitely become a champion.
Ac Milan has already made 4 purchases (Musacchio, Kessie, Rodriguez, Andrè Silva) and seems willing to return a great team

AC Milan are sure eager to become the European Superpower house in football as they used to do, i think this will help the Serie A thrive and become as competitive as it used to be. Other teams like Inter Milan and Roma shuld all invest in the game.
This is part of the promise of the new owner AC Milan that he will makes Milan great again with provide more funds to buy more players so in my point of view Milan hasn't stop to buy and maybe there are several players who came to Milan soon

yeah Milan trying to buy out their way back to succes as they now spent over €135 million on new signings this summer as Silva, Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez. While the other side of Milan Club still struggling to keep his top players like Ivan Persic who is demanding to leave Inter the club wants €50 million (£44m) to let go the attacking  midfielder to Manchester United and they are offering him €40 million at the end i think that United will land him especially when United other target Antoine Griezmann has extended his contract with Atletico Madrid through 2022 with his situation unlikely to see him move out to them this season.
make Milan great again...
I think they have the vision to play next European competition where they have the huge and prestigious history. hopefully, they will regain their time, they already signed four potential players and hey also want to sign more players, in this case, Verrati would be the best choice for making this team strong...

Milan will start the season on the Europa League qualification stage. they will have to go a long way to win something outside Italy.
And it will be harder since they will have to compete also with Juve and the other Italian teams who gets stronger this summer.
After 38 league games, and 5 or 6 cup games I don't think they will succeed to go far in the Europa League.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit just got real on: June 11, 2017, 03:01:55 PM
I love the idea behind Ethereum. I am not sure it justifies the current market rate and adoption. I feel the drive is caused by ICOs and I strongly feel that all the ICOs launched so far are not worth investing, at least in term of true value. I understand people can still make good money by shorting ICOs, but I have not found any great implementation of the Ethereum network so far.
Exactly, market is driven because all of these projects and ICO.
I bought ethereum only because i needed to send some tokens which are using ethereum network. Unfortunately i was one of guys who were listening all shits about how ether is scam and I never invested in it.

I also heard the scam accusations and didn't join in.
But suppose I want to do it now, do you think it's worth it?
Will it keep going up like the bitcoin did in the last month?
What should I check before buying in?
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries launching their own cryptocurrencies affect bitcoin? on: June 11, 2017, 01:02:54 PM
Countries with their own cryptocurrency, Ecuador, China, Singapore just tested digital dollar via Ethereum blockchain, Palestine is planning to launch their own currency and and a few countries are studying the blockchain technology closely.

can you give us some references for these?
i have been searching for a bit here, and i found out that Ecuador has done that in Feb 2015 (it had nothing to do with ethereum!)[1]
don't know how successful or not this is,

China seems to have dome something similar recently and have been working on it since 2014. again has nothing to do with ethereum blockchain!![2]

couldn't find anything decent about Singapore. and i also have heard India is planning on doing it also.

also there seems to be a lot more of these "national coins" and none of them have anything to do with ethereum blockchain![3]

so i ask my question again, can you give us some references on these?

[3] http://www.coindesk.com/coindesk-guide-worlds-national-altcoins/

China only assembled their research team in 2014, but I guess they learn over the past 3 years.
according to Bloomberg, it's going to happen soon, so I'm sure they had the time to learn also about blockchain.

71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 Football Summer Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 11, 2017, 08:07:05 AM
Juventus continues to work on their offense, and signed Patrik Schick.
Schick, a 21 years old Czech forward, played for Sampdoria in the last season and scored 13 goals in 35 games.
The signing is official, and the only thing that's not sure is the amount Juve will pay Sampdoria.
What was a 25M€ release clause, might end up with a complicated agreement which can be worth more or less than 25M€ at the end of the upcoming season.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 11, 2017, 07:46:52 AM
I didn't believe the Cavs will win it, but I guess I was wrong.
they were with their back to the wall, and it made them play for their life.
from now on every game will be like that, and I think it might work in the upcoming game.
but Golden State will want to avoid game 7, so I think it will end 4-2.

So would be good if you would delete your feedback from sasha35625 profile. He is CEO Waves.
Who is Zepher? Why he writes the same feedback in his profile? Just doublicate it?

Friends, if you dont like anything in signature campaign, please write to me or to coin_win.

It's a bit weird to involve other people like Sasha Ivanov. Write your feedback to real moderators. To us. it's fair.

Payment received, thank you very much!

I never participated in any campaign managed by Lauda, and yet I'm in her list. I tried to check why for couple of times, but I can't understand it.
I welcome anyone who's interested to go through my posts and see how far I am from spamming or such bullshit. I hate it as much as you do.
Waves managers: please consider our participate as individuals and not by a list.
Lauda: I've got tired of trying make you put me off of that list. But if you read this,  please consider it again.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Randall's Gambling Techniques/Strategy List on: June 08, 2017, 01:54:59 PM
Interesting post, useful for new gamblers looking for a strategy, method to play.

You, as an experienced gambler had more profit or losses along the years you are around here betting until now?

It will be useful for new gamblers, only if what they want is to lose all their money.
Martingale is a terrible strategy, unless you're already rich (and even then...)
and the other methods won't make you win more than others.
I don't say you shouldn't gamble, but do it responsibly and with limits, and do it for fun and not to become rich.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crime funded by bitcoin on: June 08, 2017, 01:36:00 PM
The main advantage is that bitcoin can't be traced (almost) so it's convenient for the criminals.

on the other hand, every transaction is recorded.
no money transferred "under the table".
with a little investigating work you can find hints to the source (if not the source himself).

Bitcoin is just a tool, like any other currency, one might use it for good stuff, and the other one will use it for bad.
But the bitcoin itself doesn't fund any criminal activity.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: Market Cap, newb question on: June 08, 2017, 12:59:28 PM
Why is it that when people compare coins, they bring up what the "market cap" would have to be in order to project a price? Why does this matter, if it's just coin price x number of coins?

Why would one coin not be able to achieve a particular market cap?

That's mostly useless metric

You feel as if it is telling you something but it isn't. It is a sort of optical illusion which makes you believe in something which is not really there. And it becomes particularly misleading and deceiving when people start drawing conclusions on its basis. For example, when Bitcoin recently flash crashed to below 2,000 dollars per coin, its market cap diminished by 4B dollars, and some people here seriously believed that these monies were real, as if literally 4 billion dollars had been withdrawn from Bitcoin. This example shows it pretty unambiguously how fake is this metric

It's not fake or useless, you just need to understand how to relate it.
obviously you can't base your investment on that parameter alone, but you can use it with others.
with new coins and small amounts it might be misleading,
but when going to big numbers over serious amount of time it is much more transparent.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins and Bankers on: June 08, 2017, 12:54:40 PM
Bitcoin is SHA-256  which was made by the NSA
Bullshit, stop giving them so much credit for things they never were involved, SHA-256 is an algorithm which works by mathematics and has nothing

To do with US national security agency, we know US is an advanced and a technological super power giant but this is different, I'd say they are doing

The opposite of  keeping their people fat and safe if they were actually behind Bitcoin and blockchain technology, if you have doubts then either buy

As many as you can afford to or get out before they come for you  Cool Cool.

Bitcoin is using the internet which was invented by the US army!!!!

so what? you can use SHA-256 to encrypt everything you want, the mathematic is well known.
banks and govs will wait until they're sure in the success of bitcoin, and then will jump on the train.
and it will be too late to ruin it.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's meteoric rise is, ironically, limiting its growth potential... on: June 08, 2017, 12:49:51 PM
...but there is a solution!

I wrote a post about this topic for anyone who is interested: http://demoinvestor.com/articles/00000001

The gist of it is that bitcoin is volatile because it doesn't have institutional investors, and this volatility limits its ability to be useful as a currency. The more stable bitcoin is, the more valuable it is as a currency. The more valuable it is as a currency, the more investors buy like crazy and push the price up, ending the stability.

Bitcoins is a short scheme to get rich quickly, you buy and hold it for some time and then sell it quickly to get your desired profits retailers who accepted Bitcoins from last year without converting it to fiat made a lot of money.Amazon could do the same.

The fact that people got rich from holding bitcoins is not pointing that it's a scheme.
it's a young coin, and as such it has its own problems,
but as time pass it will get more and more stable.
The problem it must pass is many, volatility is just one of them.
the fees are too high
you can't spend it in any store
transactions takes too much time
etc.

but i'm sure it will be better as we'll learn how to treat it.
79  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple portfolio tracker on: June 08, 2017, 12:31:51 PM
Wow, looks very nice!

Instead (or maybe in addition) to the google trends chart, i would put price (and volume) chart.
that way we can see the changes in the past hours, days, weeks or months.

another useful thing is to let the user choose the currency which compared to bitcoin (usd, eur, gbp, etc.)

Keep up with this great job!
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about rumors that bitcoin is going to die? on: June 08, 2017, 09:51:44 AM
I heard some folks on Quora that bitcoin is going to die but blockchain is the future. What do you guys think of this?
Just rumor, not have any basis to prove this is real.I've read through the thread like you and them have similar content together.Perhaps this is a way for people purchasing bitcoin can buy bitcoin with low price, I think so

Yeah, bitcoin is going to die.
you must get rid of all your coins.
give them to me, I'll know what to do with them.
MWHA HA HA....

as everyone here said, bitcoin had died so many times it's uncountable.
you can just see how many people still believe in this coin to understand how live it is.
