61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: February 06, 2017, 11:50:00 AM
I dont use my bitcoins at my real life, usually the bitcoins i do have i do invest into altcoins, bitcoin has several ways to be used and spent online, using it on daily basic nowadays isnt something we could do directly, make payments does have a big delay to confirmation, but in the future something can change.
in fact most of the people cannot use bitcoin in their daily life. because in most of the area bitcoin shops are not available and therefore most of the people first change their bitcoin into fiat and the use the income of bitcoin. although in some places the facilities of bitcoin shops are available.
Even in these places it is probably already possible to use Bitcoin to make payments, as there is the possibility of using Bitcoin debit cards. If you do some research, you will realize that there are many companies offering the service for those who want to have a card, but all of them have high fees, and that's one reason I'm not yet using it.
62  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it still worth it to trade? on: February 06, 2017, 11:37:14 AM
Many times I failed in trading when I humbly starting in the crypto currency world but over time when I succesfullt observed how the market goes I can say to you that it is worth the risk ! As of now with proper training and studying I do profit a good amount of bitcoins ever week ! I cant achieve it If i dont started so I am encouraging you to start now and see the beauty of trading
If the individual is starting now, he/she certainly needs to know that while there is all this potential you have talked about, there is also a high degree of risk, and considering the fact that the volatility in that market is higher than in markets like the Forex market, the level of study required will certainly be greater.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the symbol for Altcoins? on: February 06, 2017, 11:31:23 AM
Just curious to know if there is a symbol for all or some Altcoins like bitcoin symbol BTC ? I know all of them have ticker like BTC, ETH, LSK etc but do etherium, lisk, augur etc have symbol also ?
some have, some no, just googling and will see e.g Litecoin- "Ł", Dogecoin-"Ð "
It seems that only the best-known altcoins, such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, have such a symbol, but I think if other cryptocurrencies show a high level of popularity, it will be more common to see new ones popping up.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price of bitcoin still skyrocket on: February 06, 2017, 10:58:13 AM
I think it is better that the price increase gradually, through a real increase in demand, not through pure manipulation. I think that by the end of the year it will be possible to see Bitcoin in the two thousand dollar range, and many experts think the same, but it is better not to have exaggerated expectations, because things are uncertain in this market.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Starting sports betting on: February 06, 2017, 10:49:44 AM
Sports betting is way better than simple gambling, even though there is risk of losing in sports betting just like in gambling. But actually wining depends upon your knowledge about the team who were in the game as well as on skills of your favorite players rather than only in luck.
At first I thought all sorts of gambling was pure luck. But it is probably possible to depend less on luck on this type of gambling. Another form of gambling that I could probably consider putting money into is blackjack, since I have seen cases of people who have achieved good results with this through good analysis.
66  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: February 05, 2017, 01:58:29 PM
Is anyone getting satisfactory results with this service? I was thinking about investing, but it seems like most cloud mining investors go through bad experiences. It seems that hashnest is the least problematic, but this increase in the difficulty of mining is something to worry about.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: February 05, 2017, 01:52:39 PM
The number of bitcoin users is 2.5 millions. I found this information couple months ago on the net. But I think during this couple months the number increased. Bitcoin as money and as technology are getting more and more popular and used in daily life.
I can hardly believe in that, there are no more than one million of real users; I personally don't know anyone, except me, who uses Bitcoin, not to speak of alts. Many heard about it but nobody ever purchase it  Undecided
The information we found is just a pure estimate, it depends on us on how we evaluate the data we read, and of course we have to make a follow research as well, that information is vital if you are an investor because the number of users also affect the value of bitcoin from time to time.
This is an information that may actually help someone who is trying to invest in this market, I think large investors probably have good estimates in this regard. The price is related to the number of active users in the network, and it is a result of supply and demand, so I think information like this is certainly able to help them make better predictions.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: February 05, 2017, 01:39:30 PM
Slots is my favorite game because i can invest here only small amount where there is possibility we can make money here but really it is very fun game for me. I keep playing it whenever i have free time so that i can relief my tensions.

As long as you play these games for fun with small amounts, then you can enjoy and come out of your worries. But most of the people play these games just to earn more money, so they end up with more problems after the play. I do gamble vocationally, but my usual games are sports betting and dice game and never played any slot games.
If I had to chose a way to gamble, I would probably also gamble in spots betting. And I would probably put small amounts of money into it. I think the best way to avoid worries in gambling is to avoid putting large sums of money in the match, as this is something that in addition to bringing concerns, can end up with fun.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: February 05, 2017, 01:00:07 PM
Looking at the currency exchange indices on the stock exchanges since the new year, many people look happy. For the first time since 2013 Bitcoin price exceeded $ 1,000. Indicators and fixed at levels and $ 1017 and $ 1033 for 1 Btc. Let's hope that bitcoin will continue to climb up the list prices.
The interesting aspect regarding this is that people who have been holding Bitcoin since 2013 have had the opportunity to see their investment be recovered, or partially recovered, in the case of people who bought above $ 1100 in 2013. I think the secret is to have patience and discipline, because Bitcoin is a technology that is just beginning to gain ground.
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: February 05, 2017, 12:55:38 PM
Usually this happens unexpectedly, and I do not know ways to know for sure whether this is going to happen or not, but I know some ways that can increase the chances of predicting such events. One of these ways is to be attentive to the news that involves Bitcoin's participation in the politics and economy of countries, especially third world countries, where Bitcoin has a chance to make big changes.

Another way is to be attentive to proposals that seek to contribute to the development of the Bitcoin network and make the network more stable. For example, if SegWit support increases, I think the market would act positively on this event.
71  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Restaurants accepting bitcoin! on: February 05, 2017, 11:59:14 AM
wow that's nice, unfortunately in my town there are no restaurants or other shops that accept bitcoin. I think this sort of progress for bitcoin. perhaps other big countries will follow this
In the place where I live also there are still no such possibilities. To use Bitcoin I still need to convert this to fiat. Another solution would be to use Bitcoin debit cards, but I think the rates are a bit high for this, I would like to see the competition increase for companies to lower these rates. But I'm not in a hurry to use Bitcoin, as hold Bitcoin can be a safe way to store value until such services are available.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: February 05, 2017, 11:56:10 AM
i have always lost in the long run, and many times in the short run too Sad
If that is the case then gambling is not meant for you.Why dont you try something else rather than keep on losing your money in gambling sites. If you are not sure about getting  out at the right time you will be losing and the house edge will collect your balance with pride. Cheesy
Thats true or just moved to the another gambling game like sportsbetting.Sports betting is depends how you analyze the team or individuals if they won or lose by checking their statistics.I much recommend sport betting than the dice game.
I also think that this type of game can improve the odds, but I do not think the changes will be very significant, since the risks in gambling always continue higher than normal. I think I would prefer to save my money to invest in something else, but I think it might be a good experience to give it a try.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum]UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform | Crowdsale March 2017 on: February 04, 2017, 01:59:27 PM
Iconomi made 4x after their release, why don't Qtum make same or even more? Qtum is clearly better than Iconomi, Chronobank and other similar ICO's. Qtum's competition will be against Ethereum. Qtum is offering similar smart contract system but with better ideas. We don't hassle with POW, we go directly with POS.

Here is the important bit of my research. Vitalik is invested in QTUM. We all know that Ethereum is not going to switch to POS ever. QTUM has made their platform compatible with Ethereum's present smart contracts and dapps. So I speculate that a great migration to QTUM will occur simply because it might be more stable, faster and more scalable. The migration will include Vitalik. He will leave Ethereum and declare it a community project.

If Vitalik have invested in Qtum it's very good signal to buy that token. Every coin in which Vitalik "invests" will have very good pump  Cheesy . Remember other examples, guys.
I did not know that Vitalik would invest in Qtum, this in fact has the potential to attract more investors and improve the way other people see the project. But what are the reasons why you believe that Ethereum will not switch to PoS?
74  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss on: February 04, 2017, 01:49:50 PM
The value of bitcoin is in it acceptable, if bitcoin is not accepted as for exchange for goods and services, then it has no value. Just like in times past were the only means of exchange for goods and services is through batters trading. People create values on gold, silvers and stocks if it original sense it has no value. Bitcoin is increasing in values this day because of the force of demand and supply.
That's what really can maintain the value and stability of the currency. But even with a small number of places adopting it, Bitcoin can still have its value recognized by people, and I think this is due to the fact that Bitcoin's value does not depend only on micropayments, but on properties that allow people store value with it.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: February 04, 2017, 01:43:49 PM
the best part of bitcoin is that bitcoin new currency which enable us to make transaction across the globe with few taps and that too within a sort range of time and securely. the fact banking transaction requires the lot of time their transaction fees is too high as compared  bitcoin. and bitcoin is a transparent for of current which enable us to make sure that where the payment had been actually done or we have very transparent public ledger on which we could check the really of payment.
With regard to the speed of transactions, I think banking systems still have advantages. This is because banks operate centrally, but when centralization points are eliminated, it becomes difficult to maintain certain properties, such as faster transactions. However, I think things will be much better with improvements like Lightning Network.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price speculation make sense on: February 04, 2017, 01:22:26 PM
Sometimes I try to understand the logic behind the price changes. Many of the variations are quite difficult to predict, and sometimes it is difficult to find the causes for such events, in fact sometimes things do not seem to make sense. The price depends quite a lot on adoption, but I also think part of the price changes occur due to interference from large Bitcoin holders, I think most of them are Chinese speculators.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin gpu mining?! on: February 04, 2017, 01:00:12 PM
Sure you can but you will earn nothing or very litte.
It's Kh/s

There is bunch of new alt coins to mine with GPU.
This is sad to know. I hoped that this algorithm would still give gpu miners a chance. I saw several Litecoin mining rigs on the internet, and most of them used gpus. They're probably pictures of when it was still worth mining with it.
Luckily there are many altcoins that can still be profitable, but this will probably be worth it only for people with low electricity costs.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: February 04, 2017, 12:49:08 PM
many people think that gambling brings bad effects. I say if you addict gambler of course, but we must realize that gambling is also a lot of benefits, especially earnings of taxes. if everyone stopped, of course gambling industry and state revenue drop cap.
People always think that gambling is really bad if they believe on faith or following rules that made by people or ourman made there are rules that never play gambling that money will come from gambling are illegal  people want easy money
Well, with the thought that gambling is wrong, we can probably get away little by little. moreover, currently has a lot of evidence that circulating, that very many people who have lost a lot of bitcoin, or money they have just because of gambling. perhaps by looking at it, could make us that it is very dangerous gamble.
It could be worse. I think the number of reports of people who have lost money is not higher because there are still few people who use Bitcoin for this purpose. Most users prefer to put money into other activities such as trading. I think that when Bitcoin reaches more users, there will surely be more people complaining that they have lost money on it. However, we can not blame the gambling services, since users are generally aware of the risks before putting money into it.
79  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity? on: February 04, 2017, 12:36:08 PM
There are people who register on exchanges without providing true personal information, and many users use anonymous emails. There is also the possibility of using vpn, so that the exchange does not have your IP address.
I think the problem would be at the moment of converting the coins to fiat currency, and then making the withdrawal. However, I've heard that there are already services for anonymous Bitcoin debit cards.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: February 03, 2017, 02:42:24 PM
I don't think so any bank will accept bitcoins directly, government will never allow banks to do so. If the banks do so soon the bitcoin will prevail over fiat, and this will strongly affect the international market.
Actually, there are already banks taking this initiative. You'll see some examples in previous posts. I think that banks can not ignore Bitcoin's success for a long time, and those who will have competitive advantage are banks who plan first and develop the first projects related to the integration of Bitcoin to their platforms.
