Also how the organizer of the RAFFLE choose a block? Is he do it as the time at which the RAFFLE closes and the current block which is going on or on some other basis?
62  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Query on block ??? on: January 07, 2017, 01:03:12 PM
Hello . .just by surfing on this forum i find RAFFLE .. its that numbers are taken by buyers from 0-9 and a-f . And then the organizer of raffle choose a block. How this number or alphabet is calculated through numeric block example 444600 etc  Huh

Each block has a height (e.g. 444600) and a hash (e.g. 000000000000000000f2085ab75fa5170fb1df5a335c79e78426063487486418). Without knowing the raffle, they probably refer to the (last digit of the) hash of the block with height X.
how i get to know the hash from a block??

Bitcoin mining is not profitable though cloud mining is somewhat profitable but your share of profit decreases everytime .. And also its difficult to find a real working cloud mining sites .. As now-a-days most of sites are SCAM

i never heard of it, and it isnt listed at marketcap. but i can help you with a few advices:

first, you need to learn how to use google and marketcap.
second, if google didnt helped, you need to learn how to post in the right board.

i already googled it ..and then i came to this forum .. And i am likely new here .. So i do not know where to post this type of question . .

If you do not have very cheap electricity, it is better not to start mining now.

Yes, it is getting hard to make ends meet currently. If you already have the rigs there is still some profit to eek out, but if you are just starting out I would advise to try and start with 1 or two GPUs and utilize your existing computer if possible rather than buying a dedicated rig. This way you can work out the numbers yourself as the various online calculators are usually overly optimistic with their profitability predicitions.

I would suggest opposite of this. More GPU's you start with it will be better. You will utilize your resources better (slots on motherboard, PSU ... ) instead of having just one or two cards. You will hit ROI faster with more GPUs.
please suggest me some best GPU's for mining

How profit can be earned through funded casascius coins? Why people despirately give up their digital coins to get high value of casascius?  Does it is for trading purpose? Also what is the use of casascius without hologram? Whats that used for?
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Btc and alt mining hardware on: December 19, 2016, 01:02:37 PM
It all depends on the algorithm the coin's use, Bitcoin for example uses SHA256. SHA256 , Scrypt and X11 are the only algo's who have known ASICs atm, so all other algo's have to be mined with your GPU or your CPU, you can still use your GPU to mine SHA256, Scrypy or X11 but it won't be nearly as profitable or not at all in most cases.
So i cannot mine a altcoin that has algorithm other than these using ASIC?
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Btc and alt mining hardware on: December 19, 2016, 01:00:28 PM
I want to know that is bitcoin mining and altcoin mining can be done with same hardware that is with ASIC?? Or altcoin mining requires any other type of hardware?Huh Huh

It all depends how the ASIC is designed. e.g in past I used Gridseeds to mine scrypt coins but I also could use them to mine BTC (that time I considered Scrypt mining more profitable)
so the answer is YES, you can use same HW (if such ASIC is designed for)

P.S there are also specific coins called CPU COINS purposely designed to be ASIC & GPU resistant.
ASIC and GPU resistant? so how those coins are mined?

I am travelling in india .. And currently in Uttar Pradesh, India.. Is there anyone who can give me bitcoins via cash??

Welcome to India and good luck for the deal. I would like to share some facts (not to demotivate you but still to make you aware of few things).

# 1. Bitcoin Prices are high in India as compared to preev or international market, so you have to pay some excess amount around 8% to 10% to buy bitcoins in India otherwise find someone who is willing to sell you below market price.

# 2. I have seen that buyers often ask for 10% to 20% to buy bitcoins in cash.

# 3. There is cash crisis going on in India, so there is less cash in the circulation as 86% currency notes were banned in one stroke, and yet the printing is going on for new currency notes, and it is going to take at least next 12 months to get the situation at normal state.

BONUS NEWS:

# 4. Banks were closed today, and will remain closed for next two consecutive days.

# 5. Almost all ATMs (which are opened) have at least 15 people in a queue and it takes almost 1 hour to get cash from debit / credit card.

Sorry to inform  Sad

Anyway, I live in Pune, if you have any plans to visit this city then we can probably meet for general discussion.
thanks for the information . i will be carefull now
