61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto NFTs, what are your thoughts. on: January 17, 2022, 01:30:30 PM
You don't necessarily need to create nft to profit from it, even if you don't create nft you can always participate in an early sale of nft base project and make good money as well, and the good thing about those nft's is they are mostly very limited in supply so it is very easy for the price to go up, although i haven't had the opportunity to participate in any but i have seen the price some are being sold for, some are very expensive.
62  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 17, 2022, 01:24:39 PM
Snip~
I think it's a loss to only hold Bitcoin because after all there are many other coins that are good to hold,
by buying some top coins and holding them it will make profit too,
What? Can you name some top coins which can out performed in the long term? I am talking about holding years loke atleast 4 or above. I bet you that no one ever regret for Holding their bitcoin that much longer because it almost gave 100x profits for the initial accumulators and also the risk is minimum when we compare it with altcoins.

Yeah, that's only when you are holding a good amount of btc, in the case where your capital is small, lets say $100 worth of btc, holding for 4 years won't give much except btc was able to work x100 from the price it was bought, only someone with good amount of btc can profit well from it, but with alts especially the most notable ones, it is still possible to make something reasonable from it with staking while the price appreciate.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 16, 2022, 07:03:12 PM
Now that we are in 2022 is 100k per BTC still possible? It seems no one is talking about this price anymore and now BTC is fighting at the 40k range, what do you think could still happen? Also it seems like altcoins have no high chances again unless BTC do the impossible

Anything can still happen this year, I don't know if btc will hit 100k as previously predicted but am sure soon btc will break that 40k wall to a new ath, it is just a matter of when,
As for btc being overestimated, I don't think that's the case since btc adoption is increasing on a daily basis, so I believe these analysts are making their prediction based on the overall adoption level which btc is right now, and if the trend keeps increasing there is nothing stopping btc from reaching the 100k goal and above.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: APPC good to invest ? on: January 16, 2022, 06:55:20 PM
Why you don't find a more legitimate low mc project to invest on! Although I do not know this project, from what others already said above, I don't think this is the right investment for you, investment is not just all about looking for a cheap coin with low mc to invest in, it is more than that, if not you risk the chance of losing your money.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Year Eve on: January 16, 2022, 06:13:05 PM
Am optimistic 2022 will also be as good as 2021, of course, we should not expect the market to start going up immediately, we are in January and logically many investors have done some expenses during the festive period, so the market is a bit slow,  perhaps by end of q1 and beginning of q2, btc might start moving as it should be,
It is all about patience and having the right set of assets in your portfolio for a better profit.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether is centralized, is it worth holding on: January 14, 2022, 07:20:36 PM
I have noticed USDT to be the dominant coin on exchanges and this help in having the highest marketcap of all the whole existing stable coins. I am thinking may be because tether is centralized has been the reason centralized exchanges have liked it because they are centralized too. Check this out, it is about a recent USDT that has been frozen by Tether company.

Tether freezes $150 million in USDT
https://shibastore.co/tether-freezes-150-million-in-usdt/

I am afraid one day tether is going to freeze my coin or anybody's coin, the reason the coin that was frozen this year was frozen has not be known but may be it is a good reason, but I am thinking not to use USDT ever again because it is centralized.

What do you think about tether company having the power or ability to freeze any USDT of their choice. Is it a good idea?

Those accounts were freeze because the authority authorised them to do so, it is centralized and may not be very ideal to hold funds for long term, there is no need to be afraid,  good thing there are more decentralized options out there, better to use other decentralized stablecoins put there instead
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN] Stabila Public Chain (STB) | Decentralize the financial system. 🚀 on: January 14, 2022, 03:11:58 AM
Stabila coin any future plan to mine Huh Even after ERC20 launched mining was decently stopping. So, If stabila was mining by miner huge traffic attract and SRC-10 chain was one the best block chin.
Stabila mining is supported by the first 100 Executives at this time. If the committee decides to change it through proposals at a later stage it will reflect in dynamic properties. The first 21 Executives are called Governors and they do the actual mining and respectively they share the biggest chunk of mining rewards.  The rest 79 Executives are controllers and share a smaller amount but are still economically incentivized. Applying for an Executive position costs 1000 STB. Governors are elected from Executives by Stabila holders through voting.

If this 21 Executives control a big chunk of reward isn't it dangerous to the growth of this project! They have the power to influence the stabila price as they want, and how to know these are not team members?
And why the price already so high when it is not listed in any exchange yet, what determines the price now?
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 13, 2022, 07:06:00 PM
Many crypto analysts believe the bull season is not over yet, although we have witnessed a couple of dips in recent days which has puy fear on many investors minds they still believe the market will bounce back and this time it will be huge, all this may all be speculation only but it can also turn out to be as predicted, the reason why I have bought some tokens to ride the upcoming bull.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your thoughts on the OOKI coin? on: January 13, 2022, 06:59:30 PM
Depending on the concept and background of the project, any project can pump in first and second day of listing especially when it is in binance but how it will manage to keep it up is the big issue, am not familiar with this project since it is still very new however if it has a good utility then it is likely to be around.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: an opportunity or preliminary start of bear market?? on: January 12, 2022, 03:34:37 AM
BTC has witnessed tremendous growth the past few months and if there is a correction now after such performance I don't think it is something to worry about,  long term goal will be achieved however the market dip, if there are no corrections like this new investors may not have the opportunity to buy at a reasonable price, the recovery part is always very fast and that's what I look forward to.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should There Be A Metaverse Constitution? on: January 12, 2022, 03:23:00 AM
It is more like saying there should be a cryptocurrency constitution, perhaps that would be more ideal instead of having a part of the space constitutionalized why not apply it to the whole crypto space! So far the cryptocurrency space was able to do just fine without any strict governing rules, I don't see why metaverse would collapse and should only be the focal point.
Anyways, governments are already doing their best to impose regulations, I won't be surprised when it happens.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: an opportunity or preliminary start of bear market?? on: January 11, 2022, 07:35:19 PM
A question with no straight answer I would say, because it is difficult to actually say these things, you can only take a chance and if you think the dip is over, btc can not go any lower than the current price, this may be an opportunity probably, regardless of this dip, buying btc will always be a good idea because crypto is just getting started and btc still has many surprises for us.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy fundamental tokens, what should I buy? on: January 10, 2022, 07:09:11 PM
Try to add some Web 3 projects among your portfolio just in case the trend becomes popular and people will start to invest in these projects, some of the web 3 I have been observing are bico, kilt, hnt, grt, btt, but to name a few, I think together with metaverse this both trends will gain huge momentum when the market is back being green.
74  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What the fuck does binance want? on: January 10, 2022, 07:53:39 AM
I didn't have any problem verifying my id with binance although I have heard people complaining about having difficulties trying to verify, I think one of the suggestions is to use a high resolution camera and make sure to capture all corners without cutting out any part, I did mine with my device and everything went smoothly, I hope you are able to find a suggestion that works among the above.
75  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bollywood Star Sanjay Dutt Meets CZ ! on: January 09, 2022, 05:57:51 PM
Possibly this looks like Binance CEO is planning to promote Binance exchange in India. For the same Sanjay Dutt might be the brand promoter. This doesn't have anything to do big with the cryptocurrency network. Already more exchange services have started their business in India and Binance seems to enter lately on the race.

Why do you think it has nothing to do with crypto networks! I don't get how some people will quickly disregard certain news so easily,
This guy is a big actor with millions of fans in India, if such a relationship can not impact crypto then I don't know what else would,
This is big marketing right in front of you, yet it doesn't seem good enough.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the right time to invest in cryptocurrencies? on: January 08, 2022, 06:17:42 PM
If not now then when? There is no right time for crypto investment that acts as a guide, anytime you have the resource to invest in crypto is the right time, although it won't be wise to invest during ath, reason why this very period when the market is at the bottom is the perfect time for new people to join.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your most anticipated project for 2022 on: January 08, 2022, 06:12:07 PM
Judging by all the news about metaverse I have been reading from the news outlets I followed, metervase is just getting started, we are still at the early stage of things, most of the Metaverse projects of 2021 are just on name only, they haven't developed their p2e games just yet, so imagine when these games have been fully developed with millions of p2e players, it will be massive,
Lots of talks about web3 projects too, perhaps another trend for this year, these 2 niches should not be ignored.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on what to consider when making an investment ? on: January 08, 2022, 06:05:03 PM
The ultimate advice is to invest what you can afford to lose and bear in mind that crypto investment is not a get-rich-quick deal, sometimes it takes longer for you to hit your financial target, and you need more patience to succeed successfully in this space.
And try as much as possible to do a little reading on the project you intend to invest in, don't just take other people's word for it.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Profitable coin for 2022 on: January 08, 2022, 05:59:11 PM
I will rather watch the market closely and see the reaction of these tokens/coins before jumping in any, I know this seem like the right time to buy but am just being cautious, in any case, am looking to buy Web 3 base project more since the hype around it is brewing slowly and in no time can pop.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if bitcoin was main currency, what's gonna be the BTC value? on: January 07, 2022, 07:02:45 PM
If BTC was the main currency then it will not have fiat value, one btc will remain so without any market volatility because BTC is pegged to fiat people only see the fiat value of BTC but once this is removed people will then see BTC as it is, however, this can only happen with the approval of the government and we all know the stand of majority of the government of each country.
