If you have to sell Deep Onion to your father identify what problem DO can solve for YOUR FATHER. Privacy may not be what he thinks is a problem. Sell him on the overlap of problem he thinks are real problems and the solution DO provides for it. |

There is no need to rush with bittrex, airdrop is soon over  We just need to wait a little longer and then will be right moment to approach big exchanges. I do not see any reason for rush, deeponion is very good product and will be in time just better. When we have an opportunity to get listed we should go for it. I don't see any problem in doing that. Getting Deep Onion listed helps it reach out to more people. |

I tried to sign up myself for the signature campaign but after I saw that I have to own 100 onions I joined another campaign. Can I still join the Signature now or I am banned because didnt weared the signature after the last signup?

Today some bad news in general, Bitfinex / Tehther subpoenad and also Facebook disallowing ads for crypto currencies. This will cause panic and affect all coins.
The panic has set in and Bitcoin has dropped below 10k. The alt coins have dropped too. This is a good time to get your favorite cryptos for a deal price. |

Hi, i already noticed this coin last summer, but there were so many coins and most of them were nonsense coins so its hard to reconize the good ones.
I do remember i wanted to join but i think it was still some days due, and ofcourse after that i forgot about it.
Then i thought i was to late, that i couldnt join anymore, and didn't look at it for months, and now this coin looks really mature already, i just checked the forums and the community seems really big.
I checked coinmarketcap and this coin has a marketcap of only 34mil usd, thats nothing for a project with this maturity and community, so i instantly clicked on markets and signed up on the first exchange on the market lists on coinmarketcap and now im waiting for my btc to confirm so i can buy some onions, i will say it again, this marketcap is REALLY low for a coin like this, this is a really cheap price to step in imo.

Make sure you join the forum and read the airdrop rules, there are still 11 airdrops you can join (currently ~4% per week). The real party starts once the airdrop is over. We might see an initial dump (people who were just here for the airdrop, moving on), but the technology and the community are assets worth far more than 40M. That is true. There will be a dump after the airdrop and the price will pick up after that. The extent of the dump is what we need to look out for. |

Please provide reasons why you think the price will shoot up (double in this case) in just a month. When this does not happen, then other newbies who read this and without much thought invested, would automatically demean the coin while there is no need for it. I was looking today on DeepOnion forum. I really do believe that 1 onion will be over 500$ in no more that 2 years! More advertisement will help a lot. What is great is that the Q1 for this year show that we will have a Marketing Hero in the team.
500 USD in 2 years might not be possible. But we never know. This is crypto world. So anything can happen. Deep onion is doing quite good in recent times. Price is going to new high every other day almost. You have a good point. 2 years is a very short time for the price to climb up to 500 USD. @nxnqauff it would be better to tell succinctly why you think so, not just provide vague reasons. Providing vague reasons and just big numbers only undermines the efforts of developers and others community members. |

Hi, is there a reward for leaving the onions in your wallet? Is it the same as having them in an exchange?
If you signup for airdrop you get more Deep Onions based on how much balance you have in your airdrop address (not the whole wallet as the balance may be spread across many addresses in your wallet). Don't use your exchange wallet. Use a wallet whose private key you own. |

I have posted this on the official forum. Reposting it here as it is vital to keep your investments safe:
Guys we are seeing an unprecedented number of new crypto exchanges coming into existence. Keep in mind to never jump in and start trading till the exchange is established. Many exchanges offer free tokens to signup. It is okay to signup and get some free tokens. But only trade when you are sure the exchange is not a scam. Most importantly, NEVER use the same password for all your exchanges. Think about it. Any malicious exchange that has your password for their site can rob your funds from other exchanges if you don't have security measures like MFA in place.
Take care.
Keep these simple rules in mind to keep your investments safe:
1. Never reuse password for your email id for any other purpose.
2. Never reuse your Bitcoin Talk/Deep Onion forum passwords anywhere else.
3. Keep your exchange passwords unique, and if not possible at least enable MFA/2FA for all exchanges. And for the MFA to work effectively, protect your phone with a strong password.
To do all this you need to put some effort to remember a set of 5-6 unique passwords. It is worth the effort and will keep your money safe.

No, this rule is not longer active! You need to be ranked as Jr. Member and you need 50 Onion (or more) in your wallet. The registration date does not matter anymore. how many coins you will get in the next airdrop? how can I make some calcs? You receive around 5% per week 5% of my balance in my deep onion wallet? am I correct? Yes, currently you will get approximately 5% of your wallet balance. In the future airdrops the percentage will drop as more people will join the airdrops. |
