We’ve changed the platform fees
Since our ICO, the value of ICN has appreciated to the level where we are now reducing the ICN transaction fee. Instead of 1 ICN per withdrawal, the fee for ICN withdrawals will be 0.1 ICN per transaction. This is exactly why buy backs don't work. Who cares if ICN is valued at 10$ and the cost of using it is reduced. The whole utility factor. If all the ICN in the world spare 1 is burned they just reduce the rate to .00000001 ICN for transaction fees. Don't get me wrong, I still hold hundreds and want it to appreciate but I still fail to see why this should rise given the fact that the shares don't represent ownership or airdrops. Airdrops happen on the bitshares dex is you hold obits or several other tokens. It's totally possible to do it if the shares aren't on an exchange which decreases liquidity and increases value ... Prices going down.It is good for buyback.Low price means more buyback and more burnt icn.Less icn means increase in value of each icn.

the price is not very low, it was 70% for the week, and then almost -30% I would like some more lower -50 or else these guys I will tear off three skins. Yea, but the "shitty" thing is it only falls when everything else falls too. Meaning when I see cheaper ICN I'm like "Oh ICN has gone cheap, time to buy some, lets see how many I can buy". Then I do some calculations and it turns out I can always buy about as many ICN as I could have bought before the current mass sell off, cause my ETH for example has also gone cheaper  Not sure it always keeps the same ratio. I think eth goes down less than ICN and other erc-20 eth starts to be less volatile than before |

Taas has also declared to pay dividend on 1st August. One thing I do not understand that if taas can pay dividend, why ICONOMI chose buyback?
This was well explained when they took the decision of changing the program from dividends to buyback and I believe It was a very good one. They will avoid any legal issues now that could prevent them from paying people worldwide and It's also more convenient because people who hold their funds on exchange may not be able to receive them unless exchanges agree to do so. IMO, the buyback is simply better. how often redemptions are planned and at what price. what is the mechanism of redemption, where you can read about this information? LOL man what redemption are you talking about? |

nope. only way it would ever get to that level is if the platform was a failure. news that beta was a success will probably it the ICN price today, so you should probably buy and hold. don't think of it as getting at $3, $4, or $5...the price will be much more than all those and when $30 you won't care if you bought at $3 or $5. Thank you for the advice, i really think that ICN platform will have a bright future, may be I have to enter again at this levels and wait Why did you sell then? Just curious, not trolling |

So, from 1th August everyone would be allowed to build his own funds, is this accurate?  No. First public release will allow to buy/sell ICNX, as well as keep BTC,eth, CFI on the platform wallets. Probably we will see a fiat gateway soon as well. The user created DAAs are coming later this year |

Hi it's my first post, how can I get early access to the platform? I'm a whale I bought at $1 and I'm ready to buy a lot of ICNX (tens of thousands), but I don't want to wait. I wasn't part of the beta.
If you didn't ask for the beta access using the google form and you didn't invest on the ICO, you will have to wait. I believe that the platform will officially launch on 1st August (could a little bit earlier). You still can invest in ICN right now from exchanges like Kraken or Liqui.io though. Seriously, that was my first post on this forum! And I'm really looking to invest. With the current correction, ICNX will be low, which is why it would be a good moment to jump in. Just because someone missed the ICO I'm not able to invest early? Is there another way to get an account? I already bought ICN. Welcome.man! I've just been granted early (full) access to iconomi.net yesterday, but the platform seems buggy, I cannot buy nor sell icnx and I don't see the icn I've deposited 2 months ago!
Anyone with the same issues?
You can buy/sell ICNX only after phone verification. If you are US citizen you won't be able since it is not offered to Americans. |

Support is desperate, one answer per day. With the question about transaction ID eight month ago. I understand that security is needed But it needs to work.

So I've been off work for 5 weeks as my partner and I have had our first child. Due back on Monday, but tempted not to with the price hike. Anyone else with a decent holding considering giving up their day job too? Serious question. Or am I being crazy to even think of it? Ps - I don't like my job but I also don't want to liquidate my holding too much either. Also don't want to quit and see the price tank! Anyone else got a similar dilemma??
yep. Why not do a part time job? Like 2, max 3 days It's a good option and probably the most sensible one too - especially with a junior Wolf-Dagger now! Still my intention to eventually quit though! That's my plan. Once you move to a part time job, have enough money in physical gold or any other thing outside crypto and then tell your boss bye bye |
