Takeaways from this stupid joke of a conference report:
-DeveloperWeek is a great conference! The organizers are so professional! Let's all mark all our calendars for this conference!
- In other conferences QRL only gets 30 minutes at most. Now QRL gets 50 minutes!
- We wanted to meet up, but too few wanted it badly enough to meet up!
- We will attend fewer conferences in 2019!

There is no highlight that any real hodler or supporter wants to hear. The brains at QRL must be in denial if they think this "My First Trip to the Zoo" kind of corporate communication is the way to encourage adoption.

Congratulations, DK. You have taken your coin to >600 in rank. Contracts with Qiyi, past promises and milestones, all fading into the dust. Rolling like tumbleweed. Nobody knows what the hell you are doing. I doubt you know either.

They send guys to Developer's Week, but are they pitching their talk to developers and getting projects onboarded? Now it just looks like more philosophical, horoscopic word salad.

The founder Rijk Plaasman is now devolving power to a so-called advisory board. It may be too little too late. Gulden's fall in value has scared many merchants. The mainly Dutch promotion materials may instill Dutch acceptance of this crypto or drive away non-Dutch speakers who want to support this coin. At this point, who knows?

QRL not to blame because their chain has very new APIs. But they need to step up adoption efforts.

That is where you are wrong. You don't ever "time the market" to shout your credentials. Crypto is shaking up and consolidation is happening. You need adoption by the technocrats. So far, the marketing looks and sounds like an angsty college science project, instead of flexing QRL's serious technical muscles.

QRL conference report: "we've been busy marketing, to the point of weariness."  Elsewhere: "we're not really marketing."  Pick a side, QRL. Which one is it?

You are right that the marketing strategy seems to be status quo, ho-hum, move along. In this space, just not enough. The so-called conference reports are self-damaging, resembling the ramblings of a navel-gazer on weed than paid, professional output.

What's going on? Your messaging is very confusing at the moment.

For such a foundational project there is potential for mass adoption and strong network effects. Just not seeing enough by way of pushing into emerging markets. All the hard work counts for nothing if those markets are only watching. This project doesn't realize yet how blinkered their marketing and marketers are. The woodenly optimistic tone on discord and twitter hasn't changed much. The site is still in beta.

Maybe right now it is. Formerly, in substance if not in form it was an outlet for the project. You have to ask if Nocks did something bad, or failed to do something good. Like it or not, Nocks is/was itself a market maker, not a purely passive actor, and NLG is now what it is.

That begs the question, where does the NLG come from? Nocks is the seller. They may call it different things now but that was the setup

If NLG is worth what it claims to be, why is Nocks still selling it at the current price?  Why not 0,20 euro or 0,50 euro which I think is a good psychological support level for investors and merchants alike?

Why is Nocks (related company) pegging NLG to the depressed prices?

Marketing now needs to step up. So little so long, and for unclear reasons. The world awaits.

I'm into many projects old and new. Praise is not needed in these forums, only major course corrections. If things go swell, there's no need to say anything.

I try to be realistic. I don't troll, I don't bother shilling. Some pump groups have wanted me to go one way or another. I've never agreed to serve their interests. Just like you, I have a good feel about QRL, but just like many others I see the problems. AFAIK I'm not alone in this. You want to hear something specific? How about their lead marketer, some guy who barely held a job and whose publicity mugshot for several months consisted of a Photoshop accident (three-eyed monster)? Do you know any professional outfits doing that?

What about you, newbie poster? Trying out for the QRL bounty for best apologist? Turn your attention to both the positives and to solving the mostly self-inflicted troubles, and watch the tide come in. Just stop trolling me.
