You should do a quite detailed ICO to protect yourself from scams and frauds.
Team must have profiles that you can verify e.g. on linkedin and looks like they have the required experience to deliver on what they said
Then the idea itself must make sense to you
And then finally look at the amount they are trying to raise, too much is usually a red flag. Evaluating the hard cap is more of an art than science. For example if a project is building a blockchain but is asking for 200m, but company has no revenue yet and little staff, then it's probably way too much

It always depends. There were some AirDrops which gave you huge profits, but there are also AirDrops out there that are just fishing for information. Its always a gamble. Sometimes your are lucky and have a decent project which gives you some free $$. If you dont want to join AirDrops because you are scared of scams, you could join bounty campaigns here in the forum. You have a wide selection: Signature Campaigns, Twitter/Facebook/Instagram campaigns or even bloggen campaigns.

Trading is not fun or like games. It takes time and effort, you need to be serious in trading. Because in any second you may lost lot of bitcoins. Being a trader, you need really to control your emotions specially when you are in loss. You need time to analyze the charts or candles. It's not fun when you have loss, but I find happy when I can see greens in my blockfolio.

As of now, theres a lot of altcoin project, some of it are scam or developers wants you to invest to their project. Saying good things and whitepapers.
But in the end their going to dump their tokens and run away together with your money.
Investment in altcoins now are riskier than before. Try to invest to the altcoins that you know will going to rise such as bitcoin and ethereum.

I think it's a good way if you have big enough money in bank account and convert it to bitcoin to keep it for long time. You can see how bitcoin price make stairs graphics on charts this year.
But if your money is not big enough, better make an account in an exchanger and be a short time trader. That's also legit way to make money.

When people say holding, how long do you guys usually mean by that?  Is it long term hold or shorter?

Also the person that would buy the dips and then sell at the highs or close to the highs, then wait for the dips when having usdt in their account, wouldn't they be making money in real time compared to the holder?  Since someone say buy a coin that is 5 dollars.  Buy 2000 shares for 10k on the dip.  Then it goes to 7 dollars.  Now he sells it back to btc for 4000 profit.  Then immediately converts it to usdt.  Then he basically watches the market... waiting for more dips... then rinse and repeat.  Of course doing this is risky since you dont know if the market will recover.  But you dont lose unless you sell at lower price.  So wouldnt this be better?  Like look at how many times there are dips and then price increases etc.  The guy that is holding on a coin that he bought at say 5 dollars... let say it went to 8 then to 5 and keeps doing it etc.  Well let say its 7 dollars now.  Yes he made money if he sells now.  But the guy that sold to 8 and then bought back to 5 and then sold at 7 and bought back at 5.25 and keeps doing this over and over, he has made real money at the moment right?  Thus that way he has money coming in?  If you are holding, you arent having any money hit your exchange account or bank account.

If you want to start with a very small amount then you need to remember that you need to be patient in trading because you will experience a lot of losses since you are just getting started in your trading journey. Most of the traders also start with a small amount and I think it is best if you will just treat that small amount as a learning fee and after a few weeks for sure you will be a good trader because of the practice trades that you do.

Well for me I think anything and any altcoin can be possible given that the altcoin you are choosing has promising results.The same time ot os one of those stable altcoins in terms of raising its value and high percentage of exchange benifits. I can say Bitcoin os one of these altcoins and many to mention alts that have exemplified good results in the market.

When to sell? well that's a bit tricky thing when it comes to trading crypto, you never know what is the peak point is. Always have a strong plan of your own, Like a target point where you want to sell irrespective of future gains, which is called FOMO, that happens all the time with every trader.

Just have a simple plan, sell it when it reaches your target without having any second thoughts, this way you might feel bad if it goes much higher but at least you will be on the + side at least.

I find bounty and investing both profitable. Personally, I am into bounty because my financial state won't allow me to invest. My day time job only provides our family' s daily needs. Bounty is like a baby step wherein your mind is fed while working and the best part of it, you are getting paid for all your efforts. If you have extra money, you can start investing on cheap promising altcoins or even on ICOs.

Yes. I really do love airdrops since it is free and it is easy to get. But we should also accept the fact that not all airdrops are legit. Some of them are scams. Not all of them are scams though. But there are limited airdrops that are legit. I've experience lots of airdrops joined them and get nothing in return. They will ask you to register to this then give them your ethereum address, join their telegram discussion, paste it on the telegram discussion, share this link and so on and so on. Yes if you caught a right and legit airdrop you're so lucky.
It has a lot of benefits and it is good for us.
But since it is just an airdrop.you should also consider working or joining others

It's about doing your research into the bounty campaign. I only join bounties that I feel can be successful.
Bounty hunters should always remember most of these projects won't see their full potential for 6-12 months
I HODL with mine even with a few gaining over 1000% since exchange launch.
Hopefully holding will one day it will pay off.

They are a lot of promising altcoin / project out there who have lower marketcap than VeChain. In my opinion, it is not very profitable to join VeChain now because this project is no longer undervalued if you are looking for 1000x grown but it is a solid investment if you are looking for a medium risk and medium reward in the short term( x10 to x100 for this year). Personally, I prefer to invest in other projects in China like BTO or INT, because they both have less than 100 million dollars of marketcap.

If you have some bitcoin and other altcoin what you should do when their market value is declining is to hold pending when it's value appreciate before you sell. And if you have some money at that point of down turn is the best time to buy more of the coins that has growth potential like bitcoin and hold there value appreciate again. That was good that you invested in multiple coin which you can lessen the risk of your investment, for me when the value of coin was increasing and seeing good profit i would sell it

Binance is my favorite trading exchange since they got a lot of coins listed and they already build a good reputation from its users and the people are saying that binance might be the next bittrex because of its user friendly and awesome user interface and i really believed it. Binance maybe new for some people but it might be the next big thing..and some other trading platforms such as bit-z, kucoin.

Everyday a lot of new projects are started. They have many ways to promote the community in their own way like airdrop or bounty. However, I see now the airdrop is often very strict and scam. Airdrop is currently mostly for people to share with each other to receive unexpected rewards, but currently they focus on involving the community in terms of quantity rather than quality as the last months of 2017. 1 airdrop you join and be rewarded 1-10 usd. I remember the airdrop used to be a lot, there were airdrops of ~ 100 usd. And now the airdrop is just for cheaters or ref recruiters for them. I think the current bounty campaign too many people involved so a project when completed you will also be very very less than before. Now I think the community is going towards services for the crypto world. It requires more skills and knowledge. Wish you find your own way.

There can be different "beliefs" in crypto currency. For instance, some may think crypto currency will take over and destroy all fiats. Some may think crypto currency is short-lived and will die off once there's enough regulation to detract users. On the other hand, I think it's somewhere in between where crypto currency will continue to grow and develop into a meaningful currency but not necessarily destroy fiat. The most likely scenario, at the least for the "shorter" long-term is that the governments will adopt a form of crypto currency (which is already happening) and it will become the new fiat. This obviously defeats the purpose of the main ideology behind crypto currency which is decentralization. I personally believe in crypto currency but think we are a long ways off before the true decentralized form of currency becomes the norm. The future is definitely bright for the crypto world though.

To trade will take a lot of time to learn and gain experience, you will have to study technical analysis and the features of the market. You can trade on pending orders, you do not have to sit at the monitor and control the course.
