Do we need to have a common language around the world?

I believe that we already have common language in the world.
I think that more than 50 % of the people in the world can speak or understand English.
So, officially or unofficially, we already have common language.
Yes, we need common language in order to be able to communicate sand have relationship.

It also builds trust and confidence when both parties understand each other.
62  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Importance of Masters Degree ??? on: November 27, 2017, 01:46:34 PM
The importance of masters degree is Professionals with a master's degree often benefit from higher pay and increased job responsibilities.

Of course, it's likely to increase your salary when you have a master's degree. I far as I know, in our country, it is required for teaching personnel to have a master's degree in preparation for the new curriculum in college I think.
63  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Real friends. on: November 26, 2017, 08:55:18 AM
At my current age, it's too early to say that my friends are my real friends. Anything could happen; some of them may leave you. But if you happen to found real friend(s), treasure them like your own family.

65  Economy / Economics / Re: Life with out money ? on: November 24, 2017, 06:25:31 AM
Life is still possible without money. But, if you got sick and needed to be admitted in a hospital, this is where you will need money.

In this era of modern technology, it's hard to live without money where everything needs to be bought or paid.
66  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of Technology to your health? on: November 24, 2017, 05:53:02 AM
Anything excessive is bad. These technology has really an impact to our health like blurring of vision, bad posture, and more. Due to excessive use of computer all day, my brother experienced fast blinking of his eyes, he eats only on the time he wanted, and sometimes he sleeps around 2 AM in the morning. I use computers and laptop all the time due to my course but I take everything in moderation and I discipline myself.
67  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: November 23, 2017, 03:47:10 PM
It's the population. Our country's population is growing fast every year which is alarming for me. A growing population leads to poverty. It's annoying that these people who are really poor, are those that have big families. That's why it is important for all people to be educated about family planning.
68  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Abortion on: November 14, 2017, 01:44:30 PM
I'm against abortion. But it's really upsetting and frustrating seeing children neglected, battered, or abused by their parents and not given the love and care that they need. Sometimes I wish they weren't born in this world just to be treated like that or somehow they were born into deserving parents.

Though E-Books provides ease of use, printed books are better for me. I can't stand to stare at screens of laptop or computers for too long which is not a good thing.

72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 10, 2017, 10:50:02 AM
Because of the volatility of bitcoin's price, it's a no for me (for now). Another thing is that the fees are high when converting bitcoin to our local currency.
73  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If we can educate our kids at home why do we need to send them at school? on: September 10, 2017, 08:11:59 AM
In the future, I can't fully teach my children calculus and advanced mathematics for example even I've finished an engineering course. Of course as a parent, your focus is not only on teaching them; there are other things too.

Well aside from learning different subjects at school, there are different activities for children to engage. There's this fun that a child wouldn't experience when he's home-schooled.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: September 10, 2017, 06:13:47 AM
I'm using bitcoin for future purposes; for my studies, savings, and for investing.
75  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the ideal college course? on: September 05, 2017, 12:37:41 PM
In my case, I took the course that is in line with technology because it is in demand though it is not my first choice. At that time, I think of the income that I can earn if I finished that course.

I'm happy with what I've chosen and I did not regret it. Follow what you really want and the one that suits you. Choose a course that you're interested in.
76  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: September 05, 2017, 09:59:05 AM
I disagree with it because it is inhumane. Killing people is not the way to make the world's status in peace. Any person doesn't have the right to take one's life.

"Any person doesn't have the right to take one's life." But what about those murderers/killers? Are they the only ones who has the right to take someone's life?
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 05, 2017, 09:40:25 AM
Mostly, strategic comes with being a smart person. If I have to choose, I'd prefer the smart one; a person can always learn the strategies in life.

When it comes to money, it's good to have both. Relying only on your intelligence is not enough.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents disagree with MMO – Make Money Online and Bitcoin ? on: August 27, 2017, 02:12:01 PM
Must be she saw something negative about bitcoin on TV and I believe it really was so, cause of I have heard a lot of negative on TV about bitcoin already. I think you should explain her that bitcoin is the best opportunity to earn today. My mom is very proud of me that I could find such source of money making on the net without working in a dusty office for some stupid boss.

I was just thinking the same thing. It's a natural thing for parents to become conscious and tends to warn their children when they hear or seen something that is not good.

OP, just prove to your mom that bitcoin is a good influence to you and that it helps you in terms of earning your own money.
79  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Pres. Duterte complete his term? on: August 26, 2017, 04:43:45 AM
His stratospheric rise may not go on for ever. One day he will lose power, and after that he will face prosecution for all those deaths resulted from his campaign against the drugs.

Well let's see.

I believe he will complete his term. We don't want to lose a president like him; he has done many things for his first year as a President.
80  Other / Off-topic / Re: In all profession, who has the most important work in our society? on: August 21, 2017, 02:58:52 AM
Teachers, the most underappreciated and most important profession.  Without teachers, no other profession would exist.

True. And few people have the desire and passion to teach because it requires a lot of effort, time, and patience.
