It depends on the investing strategy, usually people looking for hype for investing small amount of their portofolio to make a speculation for their investment. But they are more to hold utility coins for a long term investing. These are the usual strategy that used by many crypto inevstors out there.
But there are also few of crazy people who wants to all in in hype projects and luckily hit the jackpot and became a sudden millionaire even the risk is crazy high

Every coins that pumped hard by the whales and the price increase is not healthy (there are no healthy correction just like a normal coins that has good fundamental) will crashed hard and not going back to it's all time high, just like XRP and NXT few years ago.
The whales are already moving to another coins which probably in hype in the next year (i would say metaverse), and meme animal coin's hype is already over.

Just a normal crash, there were many bigger crash in the history if you see the all time chart and right now is just a normal correction.
One thing to holds if you want to be successful in crypto investment is don't panic.
What makes the crash continue is when the whales are selling their bag, the people who panic are cutting losses their investment that's why the price keeps decrease.

From the marketcap tether is most used in stablecoin transaction and it's also available in many exchanges.
But for me those stable coins that mentioned by many people on this thread are fine because we are not planning to hold a tether for a long time instead of just holding when market bear and starts buying coins again later on.

I think when these things really happen, the world is no longer need fiat money instead of stable cryptocurrency like USDT.
So people no longer buy things with fiat and people's income or salary is directly transfer to stable cryptocurrency into their addresses.
I think this decentralized of money will happen somewhen in the future could be more than 50 years, because to realize this we need the world with all the human knows the technology like the human know the money in current era.

There are a lot of story out there about people who missed their chance to become bitcoin billionaire because they ever have a chance to buy bitcoin in 2009.
But i think almost there are no bitcoin billionaires by plan exist. If they really invest on bitcoin when the price is 0.1$ i'm really sure they will sell at 1$ or 10$. because they already made hundred times return and most investors will sell their investment with that return.

My current plan is hold some good fundamental coins like ETH, BNB, ADA, and SOL. Currently on 50-100% profits of each coin, i don't think it will do a 100x-1000x times price growth in the future but i'm fine with 10x times growth if the market keep doing the uptrend every year.

Actually don't because bitcoin is only works legally on country that the most of people are already known with technology and the internet at least.
If a country is still dominated with people who don't understand tech, maybe there will be a lot of scam cases will happen due to lack of knowledge of the technology and how the system is works.
There are many scammers that offers a quick profits to the people who know nothings and they will got scammed easily.

BNB is also the coins that holds their position at the top.
Yeah every year there are some coins that are on the hype and predicted by the people will replace ETH or BTC but at the end they will fall against new coins that has a better plans and features.
Solana has many tokens under it's ecosystem, if those tokens are good, maybe it could be like ETH which will stay on the top for a long time.
But let's see..

Doing long term investment is not worth if you are hoping 100x - 1000x returns. Long time investment is just to secure our money is not getting down the value affected by inflation in the future and maybe the coins that worth long time holding will not make that much return in the future.
Coins that doing 100-1000x is only hype coins which many whales wants to pump it, so speculating on new projects is the only way to get that much return imo.

Whenever i want to sent balance between exchanges to cash out to real money, i always convert the profits to XRP because i think it has low fees and the price also is not really fluctuating, so it's fit for balance transfering before we cash out the balance to fiat.
The speed is also good and the most important thing is XRP is available on almost all big exchanges.

There are a lot of scam cases like this when the developers are pretending they were hacked and all the money goes to the hackers just like this case.
I haven't heard one of the case could resolved and the scammers going to jail, because usually the scammers are untrackable after the scam and hard to track because their business is a full online business, i'm sure none of the investors are have ever met the devs at real life once.
And i also think the people who invested already know the risk for investing on hype coins.

Couldn't agree more, their analysis is not a future analysis, their analysis is refers to what already happen before and compare it to the previous things.
If they could see the future potential of bitcoin (just like the bitcoin investors see) , they might be not said that bitcoin price is over price, not many people already realize the potential of bitcoin and i'm sure when all people already realize the potential, the price is already multiple times from the current price

The one invested on meme coins are not just newbies, there are a lot of experienced crypto traders analyzing which meme coins that could make big profits in short time, whether it's from the market cap, the community members, the hype, and ETC.
They will find the right meme coins to invest and find the right time to buy and the right time to go.
And at the end, the victims are the newbies who joined the game late.

It really depends on the coin itself, if the coin has big community and the demand is there, the coin might be good for long term investment.
There are so many bad coins that price going so dip after listed on exchange or CMC, so we cannot say every new coin listed will make us profits because it's impossible.
Maybe you say it like this because it's on a bull season, every traders in a bull season is a genius traders because they will make profits small or big. be careful of holding bad coins in bear season, many of those will going zero just like the previous bear.

Actually i'm afraid when the market crash on bear season in the future, SHIBA price will going to the really dip and won't recover forever, because it's already happens many time in crypto just like big crashed in 2018 that brings down NXT to the ground and never recover till today.
I'm afraid because there are a lot of newcomers in crypto investing in shiba and they are expecting the price will going to $1 without knowing any knowledge about the market cap or the things.
After the crash i'm sure they will really frustated and will bring bad influence for crypto.

Reaching 1 mil per bitcoin seems impossible for next year because the marketcap won't be have so much gain to reach that price, it only could happen if the big world leaders promotes bitcoin to their country but it's something that sounds impossible to happen.

Having an astrology analysis to bitcoin price is quite interesting though. I don't know what is behind it and how the analysis goes but you should put 1 or 2 years ahead you predict price so it will be more quite interesting.
You could also do it with alts and create a continous thread, i'm sure many people will watch it 

Doge and shiba is 2 of 1millions meme coins that launched everyday, the chance of becoming those 2 coins is less than 0.1% but the investors still buy it because the media blow these things up too much.
"If you have invest 100 USD months before, your investment will worth 2 mils USD by today" said by the media promoting shiba inu, and people who are aiming for quick profits keeps investing on it, that's why the price is keep increasing though it's not make sense anymore.
So it's so dangerous investing on meme coins, or just invest small amount of investment that you can afford to lose.

I don't think cartoon-like coins like this is world to hold for a long time because the hype of these type of coins just happened this year, we don't know the trend is still there next year or not, usually people are moving to a new trend every year and leave the previous trend behind.
So for long time holding, it's better to hold coins with strong fundamentals and clear and realible use case, eventhough the price growth won't going crazy, at least it could create safer feeling for us.
