301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: October 31, 2019, 04:16:08 PM
The market is dead from 5-6 months, all coins are red and reach their lowest price. As good news is coming that China showed their interest in blockchain and bitcoin again which is a positive point and it will definitely contribute something good to the crypto world. By the end of 2019, we will see bitcoin achieving new milestones.

What market are you in? I've made 30+% on my coin investments over the last few days. Your statement is absolutely false. Both Bitcoin and the top alts were trending upward the last week or so. Today things are a little stale, but that's pretty normal. They're still not far from where they shot up to. Bitcoin shot up to $10k the other day and then levelled out around 9,000 and has been slowly climbing up since then, but that was to be expected. I predicted it in another post. It's just normal volatility.

Yeah i also can earn profits from this current market condition, bitcoin is on calm state and this is the best time to trade some good alts.
This market condition is much better than market condition back in 2018 when everybody shoutout scam projects and market looks so chaos because investors leaving.
Bitcoin price could be rise more this year, at least at the end of the year and preparing for halving next year we should buy some before the price skyrocketing just like the end of 2017
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV strong push on: October 31, 2019, 03:17:52 PM
Bitcoin SV is up 15% in the last hours. Still predicting to go up today or am I late to the party?

Bitcoin SV is running a program like seminar for promoting bitcoin to worldwide.
The program named bitcoin SV ambassador program and had been launched in several countries. It means the coin has a good strategy for marketing and they really serious with the project.
Maybe this is one of the reason why the price pumped because people see the potential of this coin
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: October 31, 2019, 02:02:58 PM
I would add one more.
Don't visited random website that has crypto airdrops on there , or don't click on random links that people shared or people sent to you because it might be contains malware that can track your wallet password.
So be careful on surfing in cryptocurrency websites, because there are some of them contains malware and it will steal your personal private key or passwords
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 32 ETH for staking?! on: October 31, 2019, 01:15:51 PM
I came up with an article across the web, explaining Ethereum's staking requirements in the future which is going to be a minimum of 32 ETH. Multiplying this with current prices, I get an average of $5,780 (USD) (at $180 per coin). This doesn't seem cost-effective for the average person, as it's somewhat expensive to start earning rewards from the ETH blockchain. If ETH devs leave that requirement for staking upon the launch of Ethereum 2.0, I'm afraid that the blockchain will be less secure than what it is right now (as less people will be able to keep the network strong).

The best solution would be to lower the minimum ETH required for staking in order to encourage the average person to support the blockchain as much as possible. With lower costs, nearly anyone will be able to join the ETH blockchain, making it much more resilient against third-party attacks. What do you think about this? Huh

I think ETH want to test their new staking system with low amount of people first, so they made the requirements like that so not many people can join it.
Maybe if they reach their success with staking, i'm sure they will lower the requirement for inviting more people to join their staking feature.
305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any website out there to keep track of trade orders on: October 31, 2019, 11:59:10 AM
Blockfolio is my favourite crypto assets tracker because i love the user interface and it really fast running on my android low specs phone.
It provide many coins even tokens from so many exchanges and the price is also up to date.
This apps is also has news tab which we can read the up to date news about crypto that can raise our fundamental analysis in trade
306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: October 31, 2019, 08:20:05 AM
For me, yes, daily trading is profitable, especially if you are an expert in trading. Becoming an expert in trading is very difficult because there are so many things to consider before you become one. Gaining skills is not that easy, especially if you can't calculate it will/ can't analysis. Doing TA is challenging because you need to analyzing statistical trends gathered from trading activity, such as price movement and volume. But you are a daily trader, that's why you also need to learn the fundamental analysts. There are so many things to consider and to learn, but if you master both sides, I'm sure you can profit very well. Smiley
Well said, i will going to add more. There are certain cases that even a trader master or know how to trade they eventually loss. The reason was they're not that kind of daily trader they need to adjust their time and any other things to be a day trader. Every trader has its own trading system and different kind of setups. So my answer is day trading really depends on a traders somehow it is profitable.

Yeah every traders must be experienced loss, and even it is called daytrading, we've not always to sell it in one day, if will depends on the market condition also, if a coins that will have a good news or events in several days, holding for days is not also bad for daily traders. And splitting trades into many coins is a must for a daily traders.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time to Sell Altcoins on: October 31, 2019, 06:47:30 AM
The best time to sell altcoins are during their peak but if you bought it with a price during its ATH then you need a tons of waiting. During bear season letting go of altcoins depends on different circumstances worst if you can’t sell it on any markets.  Grin

Waiting is not the best option, we also have to calculate the risk, if we cutloss it we can buy another potential coins to regain profits from our loss. And also predicting the peak of a coin is hard to do even the crypto experts are sometimes got tricked.
For me, setting our buy point and sell point is important before enter a trade, so we won't get panicked is any situation of market will be
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time to Sell Altcoins on: October 31, 2019, 04:38:12 AM
Best time to sell is best time to buy for others. I mean, when people, the majority, starts to buy heavily, it should be the time to sell because the price will dump hard after these majority, inexperienced ones, panic sell and drop the price.

It's not easy to have a mentality to able sell when people buying a lot.
Because the price will skyrocketing and we must be labile to sell right now or hold a little bit. It's easy to say and it's also a basic concept for trading, but not everyone can do it because it involves a psychic of a human being
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading or Marketing/Promotion on: October 31, 2019, 02:39:59 AM
The first thing to think about is what potential you have right now. If you are an expert in marketing / as a promoter then do it. Don't feel like jumping into trading if you don't understand trading, it will only hold you back. Being a promoter and marketing bounty program will make you learn new things and can earn money from the bounty campaign.

Actually we also earn money from promoting and trading at the same time.
If we're expert at trading, we could join a discussion in a trading section in this forum while using a signature for promoting a program or a project. So, we can share and increase our trading skills while we earn money too
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Do We Still Have Legit Altcoin Bounties? on: October 30, 2019, 11:39:26 PM
Nearly 1 year during the bounty campaign I no longer got a lot of benefits that were obtained the previous year. Akibar decreased prices when listing and also allocation cuts made me a little disappointed with what I got. it is also unavoidable that ICO itself is no longer interested. bounties are increasingly difficult to find and what we get are projects that do not have good preparation. and in the end a scam
Since scam projects are very rampant as of this moment, then we should not push doing it. Instead, keep on learning through continuous researches so that we will not fall easily doing scam projects. I know that there are still legit bounty campaigns out there so we should keep on exploring the bitcointalk forum and never gets tired of doing it.

I think compared to last year, scam projects has decreased. Poeple are already know the the sign of the scam projects and crypto investors and bounty hunters are become smarter.
Finding good and paid with worth value bounty is hard, but i'm sure it still exist. We have to do research of all bounty project one by one and filtered which is the best in our opinion.
311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 30, 2019, 04:11:39 PM
For someone with a little understanding of digital market, holding is best.

I disagree.

Holding requires also a lot of skills, to be honest, holding without any idea what tokens you are holding, how much potential of those tokens you are holding could give you in the long run, and so many more, there are so many things that we should consider regarding about holding, it is not a child's play. Holding alone will make your profits disappear, you might wake up one day and your portfolio doesn't have any value (burning of tokens) or being delisted on exchanges.

I think you're not talking about the holding , holding is just holding. Buy and wait till months or years before we sell it.
You talked about how to choose a good coins to hold and how to control our emotion for not panic when our token / coins experienced a big drop.
Holding only top crypto currency is recommended for beginner, coins such as ETH, XRP, XLM are the coins with a great future and it might won't disappoint the holders
312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading fees really matter ? on: October 30, 2019, 03:30:34 PM
When you make a decent profit with your investment no one will bother about the trading fee, most of the exchanges are charged a fee for both the buying and selling, people are not hesitating to pay fees because if they want to make a profit they need to pay a fee.

Yeah but for a day trader who trades a lot in a day i think they will choose an exchange with lowest fee because less than 1% fee is matter for them because usually most of daily traders are just taking like 2% profits each trades if the fee is more than 1% that means they just get 1% which means cut half the profits.
Exchanges with lowest fee will be always the choice of daytraders.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: October 30, 2019, 02:27:49 PM
This is just pure speculation! there is no way the Ethereum price can reach $2500 before the end of the year. that is a myth since we have less than 70 days to finish the entire year of 2019. Ethereum is currently struggling to finish this year at $250

Everything can happened in crypto, 70 days is still a long way. If ethereum can make a big breakthrough and can attract people to buy i'm sure the demand will explode and the price will explode also.
Even the chance is very small, it's not bad to us to buy some and support ethereum, more over they will have a big revolution next year which is ethereum 2.0 just like people talk about it.
I think it's gonna big something big because of the hype.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Want 10x profits in quick time? WAVES can be one of the coin you must buy now. on: October 30, 2019, 01:46:44 PM
Waves still has a long future and i'm sure it's bright. It just entered on of biggest exchanges Binance US and i'm sure the price will pump soon. Despite this coins is old coins which already experienced up and down, the price is under 1$ which is very recommended to invest for new investors and i know many old investors still hold some of this coins.
Wavesdex is growing well, coins or tokens with wave based is also growing well too. and it does not rule out the possibility to waves to surpass ETH in the future
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Facebook coin going on: October 30, 2019, 12:00:10 PM
Crypto community didn’t appreciated Libra from the very first day. Not only libra but all stable coins will not going to get applause from the crypto community. Stable coins may have future but they will not be able to compete with the pioneer of cryptocurrencies.

Facebook always had bad news for crypto since years ago. There was many news out there that facebook will ban cryptocurrency ads and other bad news happened in the past.
Also rumour said mark the facebook CEO is not supporting cryptocurrency, this statement came from a year or 2 years ago.
I think people are not interested anymore with facebook after what they've done, so people won't support the coin
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin is the most reliable? on: October 30, 2019, 11:20:07 AM
When stablecoins like USDT drops to 0.85 maybe it's because the dollar itself is increased (IMO) and also even it's USDT refers to USD value, USDT is still a cryptocurrency that the price can be pump and dump. So, it's better to hold the real fiat if we want to hold a coins that won't up and down. I think most exchange right now had fiat currency pair like an exchange in my country indodax, it has fiat pair which is indonesian rupiah
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some essential trading rules beginners! on: October 30, 2019, 09:14:08 AM
I have these just four suggestion for new traders. But sometimes new traders aren't taking friendly tips over here. Most of go without any of in depth knowlede. So here it is. Remember What, While and How. So let yourself know what you really need to watch closely and not to watch closely to avoid false conclusions. Second is How should you work with what have you seen in the chart and lastly is While you are in there, if there are some shortcomings you should be always ready to coped up. Final is that never ever let your emotions control you.

I think it's okay if beginner trader doing trade with less knowledge first, they have to experienced loss and learn how to avoid it.
No traders that instantly become pro traders, i'm sure the pro traders are having a hard time in old times. and by experience and learn much technical and fundamental analysis, they can manage their loss and profits.
318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: October 30, 2019, 08:09:56 AM
And day trading is very risky since you need to always check the market and position your trades so you will not miss anything if it will pump or go in dip.
Long term trade also requires you to check the market. If it was a risk, then what is the point of trading then?

I think if our intention to invest for a long term, we don't need to check the market and look our trade often because we will panic when the price drops and we ended cutloss, and when the market price rise again we'll buy it again and we'll experience a big loss.
Checking investment for like every month is enough if our intention is for long term investment
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: who else think Litecoin will go huge? on: October 30, 2019, 07:16:53 AM
I don't know about Litecoin politics and development but the previous Litecoin halving before the last one saw the price of LTC rally from the $4 lows. However, this last halving event saw the price dump. So, I don't think it looks good for LTC. I believe the innovation hype made it rally and not the halving of supply.

Despite with the price, LTC transaction speed is good and the transaction fee is cheap.
Also LTC still have future and it also has upcoming halving on 2023. Maybe this coin doesn't have fast growth, but i'm sure this coin will survive until future years. LTC should build a community to bring hype for the people.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: October 29, 2019, 11:49:43 PM
In my opinion too many ICOs are scams so buying bitcoin is better, if you want to invest in ICO then make sure it reaches softcap so that the project will be done seriously.

an ICO who reached it's softcap is not always ended good also. Some ico are made their fund meter fake, so it will attract investors to invest because the investors will see there are already many investor invest in the project.
But at the end they will also exit scam and leave the investors with no responsible. So, if we want to invest in ICO make sure we have a deep research first with the ICO , so we won't get tricky by the scammers
