Don't know how but hashrate shown on MPH is always more then which I saw on miner.

Installed cuda 9, tried different clocks, tried different miners...but nothing. Have 6x 1080ti Asus rog strix which perfectly mines zcash on much higher clocks... Did miner run for few minutes? I am on older Nvidia version 385.28. Latest nvidia driver gave me problems and lesser hashrate. Miner works for 10 mins, max an hour and than crashes saying "the launch timed out and was terminaterd". Tried different drivers, now latest nvidia drivers. Tried different clocks, even stock clock and nothing... Any idea? Is CUDA installed? First tried with regular cuda, than installed cuda 9. Its not that miner doesnt work, it works fine for 10-60 minutes, and than crashes saying "the launch timed out and was terminaterd". Its like the pool rejects connection or something like that. What OC settings do you use? On my regular 1080 cards I had to UNDER-clock by 50 MHz to stabilize the rig. My Ti cards accept ~100 MHz less OC for Lyra2z than what I have for Equihash algo. I tried many OC settings, tried even with stock settings, nothing changes. Could someone explain what "the launch timed out and was terminaterd" means, because my drivers dont crash, I dont need to reinstall or even restart PC, just close ccminer and start again...  |

Everybody talk about hashrate but nobody said about power consumption. There was experiments with liquid nitrogen cooling on the forum with great hashrate of 1070 or 1080Ti on Ethash but power consumtion was really huge. Of course it's could be possible to get that hashrate but is it reasonable?
yes, of course power consumption is important, but my point is - the current miner software is not optimized for 1080ti for it fast but with huge latency memory speeds. if you compare hashrates in other algos you will notice, that single 1080ti is equivalent to a pair of 1070. so I think this is possible to equihash algo as well. that is why 1080ti's optimized driver should push about 900-1000sols instead of 750sols! 10btc is the crazy price of course, but I would consider 0.1-0.2 btc as a reasonable price for such improvement I would immediately pay 1 btc for such thing, 0.1-0.2 is almost worth for a guy with 2 cards... You suck at math. How do you mean? I have 12x1080ti and 6x1060, my friend has 12x1080ti and 6x1060 and another one has 2x1080ti, 2x1080 and 6x1060. If that could increase our hashrate by 30% it would give us more than 1.000$ monthly. Cant even imagine what would that do for some guys I know that own more than 100x1080ti... Simple maths. I think its worth at least 10btc if such thing exist, offering 0.1-0.2btc is really insulting. |

Check the official site. List of pools but no software and no info on how to mine.. just wait a few more days.. I saw that too and still cant find the way to mine. I would like not to wait a few more days, thats the point... |

Even though I am a veteran in trading, I am an absolute newbie in mining related matters. I have never tried to mine because my laptop is very old with Intel i3 processor. However, I have recently purchased a new gaming laptop with i7 processor, 12 GB ram and 4 GB DDR5 graphics card. It is still on the way and probably will receive it within another 4 days. I am planning to mine Bitcoin Gold which are going to be created after the upcoming hard fork.
Can anyone please help me with a step-by-step guide of bitcoin gold mining. I need to know from the beginning as I have no idea about mining.

Typically you wouldn't mine with a laptop due to the bad heat dispersion unless you couldn't care less about the laptop or you have free electricity. Since yours is a new gaming laptop, you should strongly consider not using it for mining as you may damage it or shorten its lifespan. I agree. It would be a waste of a good laptop and your profits would barely cover electricity cost since that graphic card cant compare to desktop GPUs... |

Since bitcoin gold hard fork is about to happen in 12 hours, does anybody know some more info about mining? I am very curious, could be that initial difficulty is going to be very low and we could grab some extra profit mining it...

I wonder if there would be optimized miner for equihash for 1080ti?
cause this is really will help to pump the hash rate - usually we can assume that one 1080ti is equivalent of two 1070s.
one 1070 pushes 450 h/s in ZEC, so 1080ti should do about 900 h/s, but in reality 750-770 h/s, so we have potential for 20% imporval..
I wonder who can do that?
I would say that there is one already but its private version,there are rumors about 1200 sols on 1080ti... holly-molly! how it is even possible? I thought maximum achievable could be 900 sols, ok, a 1000sols, but like 1200 sols this is a very unbelievable is it for sale? very interesting, can you give me a direction where to start? I want to contact the author and ask all details from the source! I dont think they would share anything with you unless you pay them 10+ btc, that's the point of the private mining software, if they share it, it loses value... |

Guys, really need help with my rx 480 rig. 5th time today my drivers crashed so the only way to start rig again is to uninstall, remove MSI AB, install blockchain drivers, patch, install AB, it starts Eth single mining regular speed with Claymore 10, and after some while (30 mins, 1 hour, 15 mins) it crashes again. Any idea?
