61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: March 08, 2020, 11:29:52 AM
With or without the existence of the Corona virus there's still no assurance and guarantee of the occurrence of the bull run. We can't blame the virus alone because the bull run will happen at the right time and no one can really predict it. They say that the price of Bitcoin will increase when halving happens so let's hope for the best.
You're right we cant predict whats in the future of crypto and every predictions about the future by the so called experts has no assurance if will really happen. The virus might have an impact to the market but its not directly affecting the prices of coins. It still depends on the demand and supply, so if there's a correction investors might taking profit and taking advantage the opportunity especially those day traders.
Absolutely, those are just their predictions and didn't guaranteed us that it will happen so let us depend on pur own evaluation and prediction because trusting yourself have more weight than trusting others. I think the corona virus has no direct effect on crypto or specifically bitcoin's market's trend because i think in this kind of situation people will use cryptocurrency more or more likely to put their money in crypto so that they can ensure the safetiness of their money in the middle of this crisis.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 08, 2020, 10:56:40 AM
Absolutely an effective thread I believe it will help a lot to aware bounty participants especially newbies who are participating in bounties on huge graph without proper understanding which creates false hype, confusion and give encouragement to scam projects as well hopefully bounty participants will learn with this topic and take right steps.
Indeed and we need more post like this to raise awareness about people who want to scam you and not just in bounty but in all aspects of crypto, posting or replying your experience about scamming can save someone because they will be familiar of the situation once it happen to them, i think newbies also needs to go first to this kind of thread before interacting to different sites about crypto so that they will be equipped with knowledge.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: March 08, 2020, 06:36:42 AM
When you say crypto does it mean bitcoin only or any coins too? If you are referring to bitcoin then I think it is impossible because bitcoin has a lot of investors and it is growing every day. Bitcoin is very successful for many years now and it has established it's name already. I know anything can happen, it's the reality but if the price will go down it won't go as low as zero. On the other note, the only coins that I see that would go zero are those shitcoins who did nothing but just to ruin cryptocurrency image.
Even if the governments rolls out their own digital currencies we can't take the fact that bitcoin will be on top of that in terms of investment but in the field of daily payments and usage it will totally crush bitcoin for it has high transaction fee and long waiting time but bitcoin will still not reach zero because of that but the shitcoins will surely vanished from the market.
64  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What age would you recommend the forum to ? on: March 08, 2020, 05:54:54 AM
This forum is fit for adults only and members that have further experience in the cryptocurrency and digital world. Imagine having this forum being bombarded with immature people who are most likely to be close minded and war freak. Especially, teenagers nowadays often tend to have short patience and easily lose their tempt. Therefore, never mention the forum onto people that aren't that kind of interested and greedy. Let's make this forum a community of professionals, and never let kiddos aged 16 and below bombard us with their obvious and unnecessary questions.

That's slightly insulting to the average young person. This forum's biggest problem is adults who can't speak English scraping desperately for pennies. One thing it is not is a community of professionals. And many young folks know more about computing than any adult ever will.
Agree, lots of teenagers here are more professional than those kind of adults that you have mentioned, i think the forum is fit for every age as long as you know what you are doing and what you are saying, people can't see you age in your replies or post so it doesn't matter if you are under 18 just make sure you construct sentences that will understand by all members and can help them.
65  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you know when to sell on: March 08, 2020, 12:54:05 AM
Doing the exact opposite of what your emotions are telling you to do usually pays off nicely.

True how much far we keep emotions out of trading that much good trading goes , but its hard to do it with experience and internal control we have to eventually push emotions out of trading
Yes emotions will just mostly cause you trouble in your trading career for it will alter your feelings and can make you do some decisions you do not want to do so for me as early as possible push emotions out of your trading career but this requires lots of control, practice and experience.
66  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can artists earn Bitcoins ? on: March 08, 2020, 12:09:40 AM
I wish I also have a talent with art. For me as along as you have skills or talent to offer, you can earn regardless of the means of payment. Maybe you can just ask someone to pay you in bitcoin in exchange of your art? Would it be too much to ask to see some of your art works?
Its not about what type of payment or cryptocurrency, i think it is more of how can he earn some bitcoin/other cryptocurrencies. The easiest way is to ask his clients to pay him through cryptocurrency specially if the clients is far from him, having payments through digital fits that problem. You can also have your own website and then integrate crypto payments but that requires you some money in able to it but that will be the (i think) the best way of earning crypto.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 07, 2020, 04:56:20 PM
Well, we can't really say that bitcoin will have no value at that point. Another thing is that the government will not be accepting this so, despite the fiat's value going down, that just means the conversion of bitcoin to that currencies will be going up. When there is no fiat, then bitcoin will be the only currency, no conversion, no other things just bitcoin and other crypto currencies.
no problem if there is no fiat money, then the comparison will be in the goods, for example if Bitcoin has been recognized as a safe currency then buying coffee or food must have prices according to Bitcoin, 1 coffee = 0.0003 Bitcoin, this is an example
This all will be possible if countries will legalize or allow bitcoin transactions in their countries and spread of virus will really be reduced but until then we will face risk for both ends but the things is bitcoin isn't the only paperless currency out there so even if this happens we're not guaranteed that country government will go with bitcoin than digital fiat.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Start investing so you can quit your job and retire early. on: March 07, 2020, 04:22:27 PM
Well what you are saying makes absolute sense but what If I don't wanna quit my job because I love my job ? Tongue Wink I know there are very few people out there who can say this and that's the saddest part . Isn't it? We often run after the money instead of running after satisfaction .
That is why it is important to have a job that really tickles your interest so you won't be having too much hard time about your work but of course as we grow, mature and face hard situation we understand that profit is important so you'll go to anything that gives earns you money but the point of the OP is to invest and grow your money as early as possible so you won't be thinking of working yourself too much in the future for you have investments.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 07, 2020, 03:47:52 PM
Cryptocurrency have been most popular payment and digital currency right now, not only with easy by using cryptocurrency as payment way but could increase higher price and give much profit for every one claim bitcoin is the best payment method.

I hope it is really the popular payment, but it is not.

This is the reason why Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will never replace fiat, its acceptance as a payment. Despite the popularity of Bitcoin, it is not that accepted as a payment for various reasons, one of them is the volatility and its anonymity. Example of it is when Steam accepted Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is popular because its proven than it is worth our money, that bitcoin will gives us profit if we invest in it but in the fields of payments and usage i agree that it is not a popiular payment, it is popular because of its other capabilities but in payment, i think no. It fluactuates in short amount of time so establishments that no background about crypto will most likely to reject bitcoin as their customer's payment. Fiat has been here for along time and crypto will be only an alternative and fiat will just evolved and go paperless.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: Can corona virus or any other epidemic disease can collapse Banking? on: March 07, 2020, 03:14:55 PM
Imagine Corona virus or any epidemic disease affected globally. As a result, all the economy will be affected and people will face hard time. Will not it bring an affect in economic balance? Which will turn into high inflation globally and it will result collapse of the banking system. Will it? In my country, the situation is getting worse for product which we are depended on China. I can see a significant inflation here if Corona Virus issue continued.
Disasters and viruses will for surely gonna affect the current economy of the country because transaction might stop because of these disasters and sickness in the said country. It will stop the transaction between the other countries since they need to focus into their inside problem rather than exchanging their products outside.
Indeed. Disasters and viruses do really have a huge effect in a economy of a country through mortality, medical treatment, or effects of productivity. It could really stop every productivity and transactions in a country, that is why it is really a bad news for China to have this kind of virus in their country.
Actually it will affect almost every process or transaction happening inside and outside the country and having people stay in their homes and goes out rarely will really affect every establishments such as banks for no one can use their services offered, their ecomics will be shaken but in this times i think most countries have reserve a plan for this kind of situation so we just need to stay still and hope for stability.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which skills anybody needs to learn to start trading t exch on: March 01, 2020, 05:59:50 AM
trading skills needed about token buy & sale & crypto coin buy & sale?

That's why it is a skill because you need to learn it by yourself. That's why many people failed in trading, because they think that someone will show them the secret, there's none, it pure hardwork, hours and hours of reading and studying the market movement. Of course, along the way you will lose, but the experience that you can get can be very useful in the end. Google is your friend, or try to search this community.
Just like the known saying, experience is the best teacher and you cannot learn it from anybody, experience is learned through personal struggles and hardwork, yes about the study of the movement of price and nature of each token is just one and can be teached by anyone to you but the method of your approach to that situation and how you will react to dump and pump of coin is unique so i suggest to the OP that you try to read the good books for trafing and then explore yourself.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One Altcoin to invest on: February 29, 2020, 04:22:25 PM
Dont put your money in one "bucket". Why you invest in altcoin? actually bitcoin is still best choice.
It's always profitable to invest in Bitcoin, but it's profitable to invest in alts too, because alts are mostly faster and more profitable than Bitcoin.
Yes it is profitable in bitcoin there is mo doubt about it but if i were to have that 0.2 bitcoin i will keep the 0.1 btc and then divide the 0.1 btc to invest in some good looking altcoins such as XRP and ETH for those two are also profitable because of its usage amd demand. So i'll have bitcpin, xrp and ethereum in my portfolio but i will make it more diversify once i see some potential and profit in other altcoins.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: February 29, 2020, 03:33:57 PM
You don't need to invest money on blockchain games and you will already start earning by just playing? I guess your wrong my friend. Blockchain games is like gambling in which you need also an money not necessarily for investments but you need it in order for you to play and if you lose then the money will also lose so that would probably the meaning of playing blockchain games but it is true that you really earn by just playing so better to try it up also.
Yes i also think you need some entry money in order to sign-up or join the game, of course you need some entry money for you jave a chance to win lots of it once you have the skills for the game so if the game does not require you some entry money maybe you earn just a little in there but the fact that you'll earn in there makes blockchain games more exciting than it should be. The money that the company will get will be used to fuel the development of the game specially when it is still in testing so do not hesitate to pay some money so that you'll see its improvement.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help! Is this scam or not? on: February 29, 2020, 02:35:53 PM
Probably, it's a pure scam and just believes in what we say here because once you still listen to your friend that you need to send Ethereum to receive the airdrop trust me, you will gonna end up losing money. Most of the airdrop today are worthless or you can even call as a "sh*tcoin" and have you already join in some telegram channel that's all about airdrop? if not, try it and I guess there is only 10% that you will earn from it. It is my first time to hear that project OP and always do proper research especially if someone wants you to invest in the coin that they suggested to you. Just be aware that there are plenty of scammers that want our money that's why we need to be careful and don't ever trust someone who you just met.

I also agree with all the previous replies here which Airdrop is a free token and sometimes you just need to do a simple task to join.

Just avoid your friend who wants to waste your money on nothing and don't ever try his suggestion about the airdrop or basically, just ignore it.
Yes airdrop is airdrop, it is free and only requires simple tasks such as making an account or posting something about that airdrop but not a chace that an airdrop will require you to send some money first, the moment you experience that drop it for it is a 100% no doubt scam or possibly your friend is the scammer, just keep in mind that airdrop requires you anything except for sending some money other than that it is not an airdrop.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am fed up with scammers and newbies. on: February 29, 2020, 02:05:37 PM
50% is too much and we can't deny the fact that there will still people who will fall for this trap. It already happened a couple of times and this trick has been used by scammers before. Some people grab the opportunity to buy at a very low price despite the risk of being scammed. We should really get rid of this kind of offer.
Yes it is a good opportunity but at the same time it is very suspicious for no company will sell their 1 bitcoin for half of its price but yes we can't take the fact that newbies tend to fall for that for they do no have concrete knowledge about scammers but i think we should laugh at those scammers nowadays for we can search everything and be guided. Even though the company that responsible for the airdrop is good for it really gives you coins you should always step back once things looks bad.
76  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't auto Save your login details on: February 28, 2020, 04:42:14 PM
Mostly login details are saved if you have either saved the passwords or you have cookies saving these details. Deleting the cookies folder and not saving passwords would solve the problem and it's not possible that the details are available on all computers like the cafe where you haven't been logged in earlier. Saving login details on your own computer/phone also is dangerous as if your computer/phone gets hacked, the hacker can directly access your account. In the phone as well I keep deleting data everyday and prefer logging in everytime I access the app.
Well it will save your account information if you agree to save it but if you not then you'll need to retype it again if you are logging in which is recommended for our accounts safety, i think cookies has less work about the credentials and it is more about our browsing activities. I think it is just simple, if possible do not use public computers in accessing your wallets or exchange site you stored your money but if not then make sure to watch yourself from clicking too much so that your account will not be in danger. If you have your own device, laptop or phone you can save your account details for it is only you who will use that device.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a leading currency? on: February 28, 2020, 03:17:43 PM
Bitcoin has proven its potential over these past few years and we can't deny the fact that no altcoin can ever replace it.
This question should not even come to anyone's mind. Of course altcoins are always secondary to bitcoin and cannot replace it. Why do some people even come under the pretense that the opposite is true? Because of wishful thinking that one day the shitcoin they hold will become big - but that will not happen.
Quote
As for becoming a leading currency, yes, bitcoin has the potential to be one.
This is debatable.

Quote
Many people and countries are already accepting and legalizing bitcoin but, it is still not enough for it to be a leading currency all around the world if it is not totally accepted and recognized by all the government. In order for it to be one of the leading currencies, it should be accepted by all and should be totally adopted.
As easy it is to say it, it is that difficult to create such a system. Governments have shown their reluctance to allow the use of bitcoin for most economic systems and the chances of governments allowing its use is very unlikely. Its acceptance is being improved gradually but slowly.

Yes people do still have the hope for the altcoins about surpassing bitcoin in all aspects but yes indeed it will not happen or we will not get near that. The though of bitcoin being the leading currency is blurry now for bitcoin still has long way to go despite of it's potential for leading currency but the adoption or acceptance of it in the world is superior in number compare to the countries who says no to bitcoin so there is still hope for bitcoin as "leading currency".
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto mass adoption achievement on: February 28, 2020, 10:33:47 AM
Yes, all those types of projects are crypto projects.

I think mass adoption will happen by itself without any crypto projects that need to work together. Every project in the crypto will promote their project to the public so people will see and know that there is a crypto project that can be their investment in the long term. If one or more project can get their success, people will see that crypto can give the opportunity for them to make money. They will see that crypto is a new type of investment on the internet, which can be their way of making money besides the other investment type.

Today there are a lot of countries accepting the use of cryptocurrency and many people would like to make improvements and innovation on it. Some of them have some requests like the atm cryptocurrency to make faster transactions of withdrawal and also it has a low transaction fee. One of the things we can do too is to make investment and introduce to other people what does the cryptocurrency can do to make more earning in just a single day. Also, we can make a lot of projects that are related to the world of crypto like having seminars and sharing with other people. It is better if we encourage them to make savings at an early age so they can be independent person because they have enough funds to sustain their lives.

Yes the mass adoption of cryptocurrency will happen by itself or it will happen naturally for the nature of each crypto projects are to advertise themselves and for us who already have seen the opportunities that crypto can give it is our duty to extend those things to other people who still don't know about it so i agree with the seminars thing, in my school we have experienced this seminar about the blockchain technology and it is a great way to introduce crypto and blockchain to someone.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: February 23, 2020, 05:37:46 PM
Blockchain is a ver good system but it is not decentralized thus, it will not replace banks. Most people in the institution wants control over something and blockchain being different would only mean that blockhain will remain what it is now.
Yeah that is possible and it is a little bit sad becaise we might not see the capabilities of blockchain in different fields such as banks because of the people who wants to control everything they can but that doesn't mean that people will do as the higher people wants of course they want to innovate and having blockchain is such great idea for it is faster than our regular system now and much safer.
80  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Placing coins in storage or setting stop losses? on: February 23, 2020, 03:31:02 PM

as for market cap, that is the problem nowadays with people, they think just because a website called coinmarketcap.com ranks a coin on top then it must be good or safe to use!
In terms of investment looking into top 10 in a website called coinmarketcap wouldnt hurt a bit. There are people trusted the ranking of cryptocurrency coins listed there. Yeah youre definitely right. Good or safety of coins must not be dependant on that? Can I ask? for people who dont have much experience and knowledge which reference should they seek advise or any legit website to depend on? I appreciate if you could recommend some.

Most investors and traders response, when newbies asking which coin to invest with, I am sure more of them will response just choose top 10, 20 or even 50 in the market to be safe (pretty sure they are referring to CMC). There is no such thing as safe, cause even bitcoin its still risky. Dont see much difference aside from the centralization of tether and btc when it comes to OP's topic IMO.
Yes no decision ormove is safe at all for everything we do here inside the crypto involves risks but having to invest into a coin that belongs to the top 10, 20 or 50 of exchanges specially cmc will have huge less in the risk you are taking, for people who don't have much knowledge to dependently decide which coin to chose it is really better to lean on popular sites likes cmc.
