61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: June 23, 2023, 10:30:12 AM
Actually, this doesn't need to be answered anymore, surely most people will be more prepared and pro towards Bictoin, no need to doubt it anymore. even though the increase you said was a little but more organized in my opinion

I agree with you, even though maybe in my opinion the price of Bitcoin will only go up 2-3x from its ATH price when the bullrun occurs (smaller than altcoin), but at least investing in Bitcoin is safer than altcoin and you will definitely get profit for the long term, because the popularity of Bitcoin will definitely continue to increase every time and Bitcoin will remain the king of cryptocurrency until whenever, so that's what makes Bitcoin a worthy investment for the long term.
One of the reasons why Bitcoin is still in demand is because for a long term investment it is much safer and that is without a doubt,
just a few coins i think its really worth a long term investment,
it's only a matter of time to see Bitcoin bounce back and we'll see.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Want to Trade My House for Some Bitcoins. on: June 23, 2023, 06:55:52 AM
Unnecessary risk if it's the only house you have to live and you will have to find other means to live under if you give it up.

Imo, I wouldn't ever give up basic necessities for potential profits. I'm pretty sure investment in Bitcoin at current time will yield you profits, but there are other risks including holding risk, after ledger and atomic wallet fiasco, I doubt security of wallets.
well, even when it wasn't the only home he had, it was still a bad decision. after all, people are looking to make money or pool their investment returns to buy real estate like houses, cars, or so on. However, if we sell assets for investment, it is very risky. However, it was a bad decision. it's better to keep using the money we save for investment in investing in crypto.
I think it's very important to make decisions wisely in order to minimize risks,
which when planning to sell assets for investment of course the decision needs to be considered again,
regardless of whatever it is everyone has his own decision.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: June 23, 2023, 02:22:43 AM
In my current situation, where I live and the condition in the area. I am renting a flat in a big city metropolitan area, working on a company that earns good salaries that is enough to fulfill my needs,  while I am paying mortgage, buying piece of land in some village remote  -but not very remote- area that is still developing and will be at least a small city with good public facility in 5-10 Years.

My plan is either I want to just move there where the area is developed enough or rather just sell it if I can at least doubled the price.
I think your condition is actually in pretty good shape. So whatever choice you take, I think it can still be a good thing and quite profitable. but if you can still continue to earn more from your current job and can pay rent and also can even repay or buy property in rural areas then I think it's better for you to continue as you are now. ie produce more and buy more land property in the countryside. and the land property will even continue even if you don't sell it now. so that's me then I'm not going to sell it. because it will continue to multiply year after year if it is not sold.

Not to lecture or anything. Even though I bought the land for investment and speculation, but I don't think hoarding land investment is a good thing and ethical, this is what made housing market soaring, it makes people who actually needs housing can't afford any, and I just don't want to be part of the cause. I don't have problem with people who are doing that, I still think they shouldn't do that, but government still allowing land and real-estate to be hoarded as investment so yeah, people can do what they want, but I just won't do it.
That's what's happening right now, many are hoarding land under the pretext of investment,
things like that make the price keep going up,
I think the government needs to make stricter policies regarding these investments.
64  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The green shouldn't always be the reason to enter the market on: June 22, 2023, 11:28:12 AM
Sometimes when the market is red it can also be a good time to enter the market if carefully watched.  Not all green ends up with profit and not all red ends with loss too.
Traders needs to learn when is the right time to enter the market and not to judge when to enter with a particular signal.  Signals are unprecedented and may change faster than it's expected.
The point is in this final paragraph.
Determining when the right time is basically not that difficult if traders are never absent from monitoring market movements.
Active traders can take advantage of any type of chart color. When the red is in progress, they can make it time to buy and hold until the color turns green from red.
That situation just happened and traders started to widen their smiles and in the current situation they would prepare for a new scenario.
It is important for traders to be active in following market movements,
because that way it will help in terms of making the right decision even though it's not a guarantee,
but every trader has his own decision regarding it.

66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I predicted Chainlink, Pancake and many others right. Heres my new prediction on: June 14, 2023, 01:05:29 PM
My prediction is Modefi will blow up with up to x1000. Its basically a better Chainlink. Their team is from canada and vetted and has had the most active github in crypto already several times with millions of lines of code. They got some seed money by venture capital firms but are also vetted by Kucoin.

Yet their market cap is under $5m still. Which even for a bear is extremely low.

I got financially independent with Chainlink in the 2018 Bear market because Chainlink still did great and I got it very cheap. Now I see the same opportunity with Modefi. Modefi is under $5m market cap, and chainlink is at $4bn. If Modefi goes only to $0,5bn some day, that is already x100.

How could you ever make x100 with Chainlink?

Modefi is indeed one of the Oracles altcoins and is the same as Chainlink, but Modefi does not have that power,
look at the development of Modefi there is nothing special and this project deserves to be ranked 1053,
and I would rather just go to Chainlink instead of investing in modefi.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: June 14, 2023, 11:13:35 AM
I found out in the blockchain world, many people are losing patience when they start to invest in a project. Their understanding about "long term" is no longer years but weeks.
Some project need time to build and shape. What do you think?

Of course! I totally agree with that. I am a person who likes long term investment. It seems to me that an investment that takes many years to succeed will have a very strong foundation so that it is likely to succeed.
I am willing to wait 2 to 3 years for my investment to generate returns for me.Grin

Well, if it is guaranteed in the next five years then why not, right? But sadly that is not the case since there are no guaranteed in the world of cryptocurrencies and that makes it even harder to find that project or specific coin that will outshine some coins in the market in the next couple of years and will be give us promising returns for holding out. So, it is still advisable, well for me, to invest in top altcoins and bitcoin so that the risks are minimized.
Investing in cryptocurrencies is very risky and of course there are no guarantees,
if someone says that the altcoin is guaranteed to go up in the next few years, of course that is a liar,
because indeed altcoins do not have that guarantee. What can only make prices rise is project development.
68  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction from $30K: Reason to worry? on: June 14, 2023, 09:21:28 AM
IF Bitcoin goes down to $15k or $16k again it will cause a panic sell for retail, but for whales and companies I'm sure they will buy,
it will be like 2020 before bitcoin to new ath bitcoin has plunged at $ 6000, that's why we also have to know how the market reacts.

If that happens it means there was a big crash that sent the price down in the $15-$16k range, and maybe it's true that it could be whales and companies to pile on while the market is in a huge downturn, but to be honest it's now over $20k and under $30k we think this is still in the Bitcoin zone where the price is lower than before the correction that occurred some time ago.

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoins Have Good Opportunities in the Next Year on: June 14, 2023, 08:53:29 AM
for easy approach you just see which coin that supposedly to be good yet having massive cut down in their prices that are the coin that gonna have massive rally.
after all, they are the ones that have bigger chance of recovering their assets, their downfall won't be long lasting, next year when bullish come, they gonna gets the most out of it i think honestly.
We can see altcoins that have the potential to pump on coinmarketcap,
we're looking for medium cap or low cap because it's very easy to pump,
of course you have to analyze it fundamentally and TA don't just buy altcoins especially low cap it's very easy to scam.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: June 13, 2023, 10:27:31 PM
If you are sure for the long term then Hold it, but if you are not sure because Binance is currently experiencing serious problems then sell it,
and buy at a low price again if that happens, so it all depends on us,
there's nothing wrong with selling or holding , because I think Binance will also struggle to fight back.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are your bitcoin May/June price analysis? on: June 13, 2023, 07:10:59 PM

in May Bitcoin was able to reach $ 30k and I was surprised about that but unfortunately it was a bull trap,
even in June many had predicted a bullish month but the price actually fell,
even though good news from China could make the market bullish, unfortunately it didn't achievable.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: June 13, 2023, 05:47:29 PM
Until now, XRP is still very popular with traders because XRP is still the top altcoin,
moreover they have a very strong community that can hold XRP prices from a severe dump.
yes even though we know there have been many exchanges that stopped XRP trading when they were hit by a case with the SEC,
but the good news is they are rise again and they will win the trial. So yes to XRP!.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest in BTC? on: June 12, 2023, 09:17:38 PM

This week looks like it will be a boring week for bitcoin, because until now the price of bitcoin has been stuck at $ 25k to $ 27k,
so most likely in the next few days or maybe next week Bitcoin will be very volatile,
and if you want to invest it's better to wait for the market reaction first first, whether pump or dump.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Algorand dead or can it recover? on: June 12, 2023, 08:25:58 PM

There's no denying that Algorand does have good project development, and deserves to be in the top 100 coinmarketcap,
but with that much marketcap, Algo still can't achieve positive ROI, but even to a negative ROI and even reached a new All time low this month,
and yes it's a shame that a good project like Algo is experiencing this and it can even result in decreased trust in the algorand.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bitcoin market is back on track on: June 11, 2023, 11:28:16 PM

As long as the Bitcoin price can be above $ 20k then I dare say Bitcoin is on the way,
but if Bitcoin is below $ 20k I don't know the dump will be more powerful, maybe another $ 15k,
so from now on we should be able to analyze it before buying.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: June 11, 2023, 11:10:27 PM

Doge strength is in Elon musk moreover Doge is memecoin which is without a developer,
but that is seen by Elon to develop and support, Even the rocket that Elon will fly will be named Doge.
this is why Doge is really very extraordinary, it's appropriate if Doge has a pump.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: June 10, 2023, 05:30:58 PM
for now yes, because in my opinion USDT is still a stable coin that is safe to use compared to other stable coin, because the market cap and trading volume of USDT is still very high compared to other stable coin and USDT is also in the top 10 on coinmarketcap, so that proves if there are still many people who use USDT and of course that's what makes me still believe in using USDT at this time.

So far, USDT rarely has a problem compared with another stable token. I don't know why people are still feeling doubt with USDT. it has proven if USDT has become the most reliable stable token. No reason to call it as a scam or something else.
People talked about reserved too much but it's still mostly used by crypto users.
I use USDT most of the time. But I don't know USDT is very popular that's why I like to keep my money in USDT. But I will never lose and gain money in USDT. But if any transaction through USDT is free like 1$  Pay per transaction. I like USDT so much that I use USDT most of the time.

for now there is no doubt about Tether USDT because USDT is still used by all users, communities and even whales,
and most importantly there is no bad news about Tether so it doesn't matter if at this point I trust USDT 100%.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising altcoins? on: June 10, 2023, 04:14:13 PM
Ethereum (ETH),Binance Coin (BNB),XRP (XRP). how to choose how to distribute the interest on them?

I chose 20-40-40. By that I would put 20% on ETH, 40% on BNB and XRP. I think BNB is the best and I really like XRP too.
I don't know how XRP is progressing at this point. Whether they have won against the SEC or not. But I chose XRP only because of my intuition. I feel like XRP will never crash or become a scam.

It looks like you are placing your bet on a coin that does have problems with the SEC,
I understand the bet will matter if XRP wins, or BNB wins,
but I think in a bear season like now there are still good altcoins apart from these two for you to invest in like Matic, Litecoin or Ethereum.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC Lawsuit Against Binance Is Likely To Hit Bitcoin Price on: June 10, 2023, 03:38:21 PM

The impact was indeed very extraordinary because indeed many withdrew from the two exchanges,
whether selling their assets in the form of stable coins or withdrawing their assets in the form of crypto assets,
but from the altcoin and Bitcoin dumps it was clear that selling pressure on exchanges was very high than usual .
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to altcoins ? on: June 07, 2023, 10:00:24 AM
What happened to Altcoins this year was really terrible, many of the altcoins experienced dumps of more than -80% and recovery has not occurred,
yes this incident is the same as in 2018 and for me this is my worst year, moreover, good news does not have a positive effect on the market,
but bad news makes the market really sad, yes its Dump happens.
