Just try to invest those coins in top 10 in the coinmarketcap they are trusted coins and worth to invest. But you must be careful for choosing coins and make some research first about the coins that you want to invest. And must better to separate your 1000 usd in different coins if you want more coins to invest than choosing only one coins. In my opinion I guess we can see another bull market this year because no sign of dump yet after bitcoin reached new all time high, so if you want to invest in LTC maybe you should hold it.
