61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest in altcoin? on: August 28, 2018, 01:40:24 AM
The benefits offered when we invest in altcoin are quite large. therefore it is recommended to invest here. but with the risks that we must understand before investing

63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be a national treasure. on: August 17, 2018, 04:20:51 AM
Bitcoin is truly a treasure for someone who achieved even a single piece of it. Its value transcends that of a precious gold dust, proven that most people spend most of their time and effort to gain one bitcoin atleast. One can say that a bitcoin can replace everything; from salary, currency and that of a treasure. A country with its citizen having much reserve of bitcoins can be a powerful economic advantage.

Can we consider bitcoins as national treasure of a country comsidering its economic significance?

it could happen if bitcoin can be accepted as the current currency in my country, bitcoin is still prohibited from making direct transactions, what might be possible as you say
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the existence of bitcoins a threat to jobs and national currencies? on: August 16, 2018, 04:47:51 AM
We all know how powerful bitcoins are especially in financial terms. Having one makes you feel like a newly-crowned king ready for his throne and lux. Its value and essence is something that we cannot just ignore, resulting for some people relying on these 'God-given grace' instead of working hard and gaining the money that their own country uses. Some thought that it would be better off to have bitcoins and convert it into any kind of currency rather than to get a job and earn some thing. What do you think? Will bitcoin be able to eclipse the existence of national currencies in the near future?

I don't think if the management of bitcoin is properly monitored so that it runs as needed so in this case the role of the government is to mediate between bitcoin and national currency
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to withstand whales? on: August 16, 2018, 04:43:45 AM
Hey guys, just found a mind-blowing article about whales and "skype trading".

Quote
A small group of about twenty over-the-counter (OTC) traders and clients including big investors, miners, payment processors and hedge funds, has reached a monthly trading volume worth billions of dollars. Instead of using an online exchange like Coinbase or Kraken, the participants close major deals chatting on Skype and settle them by sending fiat via bank wires and cryptocurrency directly to each others’ wallets.......

So in December, when common people sold houses and cars or took loans in the bank and bought bitcoin during its unprecedented growth, bankers quietly sold all the bitcoins out of the exchange at high prices, and this did not affect the exchange rate, but when not over-the-counter areas were over, they came to the stock exchanges and the remains of bitcoin were already sold on open exchanges, causing a price collapse.
If a whale wants to buy bitcoin for $ 500 million and go with this amount to the one of top 5 exchanges, such as Poloniex or Binance, he can in one trading session, push the rate one or two thousand dollars up, and that's exactly what he does not need.

What are your suggestions??? I think the only way is just HODL despite the fact of price collapse.
indeed it takes confidence and patience like the advice you hold back and taking the opportunity that will come to get the price advantage down don't make us afraid and panic
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most stupid comment you've heard about bitcoin? on: August 16, 2018, 04:39:12 AM
People tend to get quite confused with all this fancy crypto stuff and confused people tend to say funny things when they try to act competent. So, what's the most stupid thing you've heard about bitcoin recently?

the funniest things that I often hear are investors praising bitcoin if they benefit and will be confused and panicked and think negatively about bitcoin I think it's the funniest thing I often hear
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin down, altcoin rise. why? on: August 15, 2018, 04:21:57 AM
I do not understand what happened to some altcoins, I know that when correction, red altcoin dominates the crypto market.

but when the bitcoin correction, there is still altcoin that has increased and rises significantly.

what factors make altcoin rise when bitcoin falls?
share your knowledge with me!
do we not know before starting to invest if one of the characteristics of the crypto currency price and its value is uncertain the price and value of the crypto currency is affected by the size of the demand and sales that occur
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will be Bitcoin centralized ? on: August 15, 2018, 04:01:28 AM
as per governments view, they never accept decentralized bitcoin. the major reason is they unable to track the sender and receiver. smuggling and black money can send anywhere without third party knowledge.

so do you all think bitcoin can be centralized ? can be do ?
maybe it's one of the weaknesses of bitcoin that is always seen as bad by everyone and even the government but we all can't ensure the future of bitcoin will be like what will be the most important take advantage of the opportunities we get to make a profit
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recently reduced transaction fee on: August 15, 2018, 03:48:30 AM
Hmmm....this is really great

How sweet could it be if it will be and continue like this.
Yesterday i wanted to send 200$ to my trading wallet and i saw just 0.27$ as the transaction fee.

Unbelievable!!!
if that happens I think it's good and positive news and maybe investors' interest will be even greater in investing
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin lose market share? on: August 15, 2018, 03:38:36 AM
Undoubtedly, everyone knows the name of Nokia, and, with its words, quality and performance are brought into the minds of individuals. Nokia was one of the first mobile phone companies in the world. In 1998, Nokia was able to rely on the royal palace of the mobile phone companies, and the largest share of mobile phone sales. But with the advent of Apple's phones and Android phones, the share of Nokia has fallen sharply so that they were eventually bought by Microsoft in 2013.
In my opinion, Bitcoin has a way that Nokia. Bitcoin technology is old compared to other Altcoin. Bitcoin was the first, but perhaps not the best.

however bad news and bad circumstances I think bitcoin will still exist and develop because it is investors' development that makes it even better according to me the development of bitcoin investors who can make it grow
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining Bitcoin Using Free Electricity on: August 13, 2018, 05:45:08 AM
https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/08/12/students-are-mining-bitcoin-in-university-dorms-campuses-are-alert/

Never though of this when I'm still in school but this is clearly profitable given the free source of electricity. I was so amazed by the creativity and intellect of those students taking advantage of the situation.  Grin

I don't have much knowledge about cyber security, is it really possible that the school's network will be compromised due to students mining activities using the schools internet connection? Will there be any legal charges if the students will get caught? Share me your thoughts.
I think misuse in any case is still wrong, if indeed it is for something positive it might be better permits and in making mining more comfortable and safe
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin grows everyday through Shared knowledge on: August 12, 2018, 06:40:01 PM
I came across a quote made by someone on this forum which goes like,'An open mind is one of the best assets when it come to cryptocurrency'.
This quote got me thinking, to make bitcoin (cryptocurrency) grow everyday in relation to clearing all misconceptions people have, we need to share our little knowledge about bitcoin on this forum. Sharing of  knowledge will create an atmosphere for people to be open minded and also help newbie investors to understand the crypto world and the market. I realized there is quite a great number of very helpful people and resources on this forum.
What do you guys think? Do you agree with me?
I agree with all of your opinions because in my opinion the development and growth of bitcoin depends on the investors themselves in my opinion
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 12, 2018, 06:34:23 PM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.
one day the world will be ready with all that because crypto currencies use the development of technology and times so that it will indirectly be acceptable to everyone
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency could help your business or not? on: August 11, 2018, 06:00:41 AM
I was doing some research online and I stumbled on this kind of news. https://news.bitcoin.com/since-embracing-bitcoin-robinhood-app-value-jumps-to-5-6-billion/

The article said that robinhood app after embracing cryptocurrency have its value jumped to 6 billion dollars after embracing bitcoin. This is a good sign that more and more people are engaging into bitcoin. If more business will enter into the world of cryptocurrency and will bring back the original purpose of cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange rather than just and object of income and a trading item then surely we could revolutionized the world of finance and economy.

With robinhood as an example do you think there will be more business online that will boom and will not go bankrupt due to cryptocurrency?

I guess its hard to determine such facts base on one example so let us wait for the future to unveil itself.
no one can give a definite answer in the future crypto currency will be what is currently the most important for me take advantage of the opportunities available to get the benefits that we will get later in investing
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who sells BTC now? on: August 11, 2018, 05:55:13 AM
I have seen many threads talking about should I sell now or wait till BTC moons. When I see these threads I marvel and move on to check on different topics or threads because I know the person doesn't know what he is talking about. Diving more into cryptocurrencies, when you sell now it means you are a coward and don't even know the kind of cryptocurrency you are dealing with. One thing is that, its really kinda pity to see those topics raised. I have set a goal and until that goal is not, I will never sell BTC and that's me.I want ask that is it because those selling the coin are newbies and are afraid of loosing some small $s or they haven't read much about bitcoin or the cryptocurrencies or they have low knowledge about the blockchain technology?
indeed, many investors are frightened by the decline in bitcoin prices or even bitcoin bad news, maybe they do not understand and know all the risks gained in investing if they understand the risk I think investors will believe and believe what they invest will benefit
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin affect other Crypto? on: August 11, 2018, 04:49:05 AM
I have recently been into altcoin trading. I just want to know, does the price of bitcoin affect the price of other cryptocurrencies as well? How? I really want to know. I have noticed that ever since the bitcoin price pumped up and reached 4,000 USD, the price of the altcoins had gone really really low. I almost lost my invesment due to this sudden drop. Does bitcoin price have something to do with this?
in my opinion, from what I know, if bitcoin has decreased or increased all crypto currencies, it has also undergone a change, maybe it can also be said bitcoin can affect the development of other crypto currencies

78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: July 29, 2018, 03:15:12 PM
Universities are embracing accepting bitcoin for tuition, with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland the latest school to adopt. If anything, it's another clear sign the cryptocurrency is here to stay.

https://futurism.com/schools-accepting-bitcoin-tuition/

Even so... Bitcoin has been used to buy homes, and countries like Venezuela and Vietnam are beginning to truly embrace the currency. Now, certain universities are adopting the payment method of bitcoin for tuition, albeit with a few caveats.
a time bitcoin will be accepted by all countries and can to conduct transactions in the world economic system as a valid currency
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? on: July 29, 2018, 03:12:36 PM

80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: July 28, 2018, 06:33:21 AM
All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.

Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.

Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.
which you convey is probably the most hope of bitcoin investors going forward but we all can not know for certain the future bitcoin will be like what is most important for now is take advantage of opportunities available to profit
