61  Economy / Speculation / Re: How realistic are the $1M Bitcoin predictions? on: May 16, 2017, 06:03:21 AM
Right isen. Scaling is the big issue facing btc today. Transactions have to be fast.....turbo fast for public acceptance.

I am changing my mind and am starting to support Segwit.

As an invester, Etherum is also looking good. I feel Etherum will NOT loose value. Therefore, is safe.

C'mon guys............scale the chain.

64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Question about upcoming fork on: May 13, 2017, 06:48:10 AM
If a fork occures, then how will affect the consumer?
I mean will every peice of btc software have two pathways to send your btc?

For example, a Japanese person goes to purchase an item at the shop. Will the shop say ' send the btc via segwit'?

Will my ledgar wallet, once upgraded, have two paths to send btc along?

How will this fork affect the logistics of btc transfere? Is every btc wallet  going to have to upgrade?

Would you good people who understand this, please inform us, non techy poeple?

Thanks Peter

66  Bitcoin / Electrum / Ledger wallet and Electrum on: May 11, 2017, 11:53:20 AM
I like all smart investors keep my savings in cold storage. Leger Nano s.

So reading from our good forum I experimented and opened an electrum wallet on my tablet. I opened a watch only wallet using my deposit address. The same address i use weekly for savings.

I found my savings. Does this create a security risk? If anyone got hold of my address they could see what i have.?

Thanks Peter

69  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VIDEO: Italian presstitutes get attacked by migrants live: super funny:) on: May 09, 2017, 11:56:59 PM
There are certain sections of the Western society, which houses sympathy for the illegal immigrants. These sections include radical feminists, LGBT activists and communists. So it is always fun to watch when they get attacked by the very same people whom they supported.

Right on mate

We are all concerned about the btc dispute.
I read that the Segregated witness had a host of other improvements to protocol.

Could anyone please tell me what other improvements these are?

73  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terror attack in London on: April 28, 2017, 09:07:26 AM
I agree. It is not about terror. Its about a cultural invasion by Islam.
Terror is Jihad, Jihad is to spread the sharia on infidels.

We are slipping back into the dark ages....so frightening.

The war is here now. Democracy vrs sharia

Mainpmf. Please show us credible references to Le Penns stealing?

Who was it that called her a facist? May i remind you Hitler was a socailist? Stalin? Mao? Pol pot? Castro?

Facist is the label given by the extreme left along with the new catch phrase 'far right' and 'populist'. The conservative right actually stand for democracy, free speech and a laze' fair economic system.

The media lied to us about the polls in the US elections. Whats the bet they are doing it now?
77  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Emmanuel macron is the next President of France. on: April 26, 2017, 04:45:41 AM
Remember the US elections?

Remember, our socialist media, constantly confirming polls that showed Hillary ahead?

The silent majority are waking.

How to split your coins using Electrum in case of a BU Hard Fork
http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/hardfork.html

As a non-techy type of person with limited ability,

Using two computers (A with original the wallet and B with a freshly installed wallet), both running on Windows, copy the [Electrum] folder located in the [Roaming] folder on Computer A to the [Roaming] folder of Computer B, overwriting the the fresh wallet's Electrum folder with the original wallet's Electrum folder.

  • On Computer A, open the Electrum wallet and turn off automatic-connect and manually select a server running Core BTC. Would this effectively make the Electrum A wallet a Core BTC wallet?
  • On Computer B, open the Electrum wallet and turn off automatic-connect and manually select a server running Unlimited BTU. Would this effectively make the Electrum B wallet an Unlimited BTU wallet?

Well, would this be enough to split the two coins?  But what about Replay attacks - how could they be prevented in this scenario if this approach is feasible?

Or, should I just simply send my BTC to an exchange shortly after a hard fork and let the exchange do the coin splitting etc. for me?

and your a non-techy type of person........OOOOOOOOOOOOkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkayyyyyyyy

I have resontley read the Qaran, the hadith Bukahri and Sira.

Islam is the problem.

But further, terror is not the problem. The problem is the spread of sharia in western culture. Europe is entering another dark ages. The real killing will start in 20 years or so. The rapes have started, pedophilia, dustruction of all other religions.

Political correctness is destroying Western society.. so so sad
