61  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: September 29, 2021, 02:40:36 AM
I think it depends to the person who will handle bitcoin or cryptocurrency. At my young age, me and my friends make this free. What free? Free from buying what we want like new android phone, buying food that we want aside from the food that we bought with the allowances given by our parents, buy clothes and other staffs that makes us happy at our age. As I get older, it does not really make me rich but it helps me to be financially stable as well my friends which happened to earned more and gained more than me through bitcoin and altcoins.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: How has inflation affected your savings and investing? on: September 28, 2021, 03:43:10 PM
Inflation is really kicking in, the cost of things are getting really high in the market and its not even december yet, its effects are evident on the price of food stuffs, transportation, electricity bills, gas bills and others. How are you handling it and how has it affected your savings/your percentage for investing (if you have one)?

Have you had to cut down on your expenses so as to maintain the percentage of your income you allocate to savings & investing?, Or you have adjusted the percentage for savings and investing so as to accommodate and maintain your standard of living?

As I grew up, inflation is always present. It is hard to earn, save, invest and maintain our standard way of living at the same time. So to be able to make everything still in balance, I am always trying to sustain my full time and part time job(s). With that, I may use my salary in my full time job to buy our everyday expenses, then my profit from part time in saving. But of course it will not always go in an easy way so there are times that I need to adjust my savings just for our living.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No vaccine no entry Casino house! on: September 28, 2021, 03:13:30 PM
I was faced with real-life situations in my city over the weekend, I visited a casino house close to my residence to have some fun time but on getting to the casino gate I was stopped by security at the gate and they demanded a covid 19 vaccine card which I don't have at the moment and I was denied entry I felt embarrassed but I have no option than to turn back. Is the situation the same in your neighborhood?
Well I am already hearing some rumors and news as well that there are places, and establishments that already requires vaccination details when entering so I am not that surprised. I think this is already happening in the city not only in casinos. Here in our province, there is really no casino. Instead, they gamble in their friends house so there is no need for any vaccination details.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: September 28, 2021, 02:50:26 PM
I see a lot of signature wearers discussing gambling quite frequently in this section of the board. I’m curious, what do you do with your signature campaign earnings? Do you support your advertiser and gamble it on their platform, save it, or spend it? I assume most people probably gamble it, and that’s why signature campaigns are able to be so generous, but maybe some users are taking advantage of the funds to help support themselves or even give back to charities or organizations they enjoy. If you have a good use for your earned signature campaign earnings, share it here, or even if you have a not so good use. Smiley

Before, I am trying to put my earning into trading thinking that it will grow so I will earn more. But no matter how many times I've done it, I lose. I've accepted myself that it is not my line so I think of ways where I am best at then I come up with saving so I decided to just save some for me and my future family then use some in a more meaningful way like buying my personal needs that serves as a treat for myself in earning.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that NFT is the best investment in the future? on: September 28, 2021, 02:19:01 PM
NFT is a very promising investment in the future, if you see the interest of artists and popular figures starting to think about investment patterns here, it is very likely that NFT in the future is a promising investment, plus athletes are starting to target investment here .
It takes special preparation to be part of NFT's investment, considering the positive potential that will happen is something we are waiting for, with NFT's outreach services for fans of Artists, Athletes and Big Figures, it is very possible for NFT to be part of the investments. NFT.

What do you think???
I think not all NFTs are promising. But for those worth investing NFTs, yes it is a promising investment especially to those who believe early in that certain NFT before it grows bigger like axie. The husband of my cousin already invested in axie early this year and he is already a manager now. When I beame his scholar, he showed me the slp and profit gained of his every scholar and of course his earning because we divide the farmed slp into equal (50-50). No wonder he gained a lot already. From the different facebook pages of axie I have joined, even celebrities are selling axie teams. Now I am trying some other NFTs, to be honest, I am not yet getting my investment back. But I think there will more NFTs in the future and it is the future gaming.
66  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity requirements before being a Grantee / Scholar? on: September 28, 2021, 01:53:11 PM

Hirap maka hanap ng Managers kahit pa cguro kompleto requirements. 😅

67  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Plant vs Undead Another Alternative na pagkakakitaan. on: September 27, 2021, 03:24:16 PM
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is stop loss and how it works on: September 27, 2021, 02:58:36 PM
That brings me down to my question, what is the best way to apply the stop loss features that will guarantee zero loss, and which exchange has the best and easy-to-use live trading features.
Guarantee zero loss ? No I think not. I think stop loss is to prevent you from lossing more money because the price is going down. Like other techniques, it still has a risk because after cutting your loss, price might go up without your proper analyzation like what happened to the beginner in trading I've met a couple of months ago. But still, it is good in a way that you did not loss everything and still save some of your money.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: September 27, 2021, 02:26:06 PM
It’s not easy to keep patience for a long time. We will want to see market conditions all the time. We will always pay attention to the price of the coins we have purchased. The best way to hold it is to uninstall the APP after purchase and not pay attention to any software.
Yes long term hold is difficult if we are monitoring the market from time to time. Continuous dump for a week will surely make us worry. But if we ignore the market and believe on the coin that we are holding, we can make the long term hold easy. My friend did it. Her small amount of bitcoin left from her earning in 2017 was still on her wallet right now. I don't know until when she will hold it but knowing the difference of btc price in 2017 and 2018, she already gained a lot.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worthy Airdrops on: September 27, 2021, 01:38:00 PM
Have joined hundreds of airdrops and have learned something which I would like to share with you as many seems to waste their time on shityy airdrops which tbf aren't even worthy of being called airdrops.

Significant value airdrops did not ask for much info or tasks.

These projects stayed true to what 'airdrop' really is. Only asked for the address so they can send you token, tho sometimes there were requirements to prevent sybil entries.

No follow to tens of social links and other social media bs, didn't attach $ value, no sign up, no lucky winners, no referral shite, and oh, no KYC.

Since 2018 after so many airdrops I have participated and gaining nothing but shit coins, I realized that I am only wasting my time to airdrops. On the past year 2020, my friend entice me one more time in airdrops saying there are profitable airdrops now. Because he is my friend I tried some that does require so many things to do but still useless. Maybe there are worthy airdrops out there but since there lot different airdrops, it is hard to find and determine.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some interesting ways you've introduced bitcoin to your friends? on: September 27, 2021, 12:22:28 PM
Based on my experience it is not easy to introduce or make ordinary people interested in the crypto world. We have to be really patient and prove the results ourselves because most of them need to see the evidence instead of hearing nonsense. So in addition to giving him knowledge, I also gave him evidence that this btc will provide benefits if we can manage it well because we are the ones in control of our own assets. The good asset management is that we must know the right time to sell or buy btc in the market.

I see that it is everywhere that if we are going to talk to someone about money, there has to be proof coz it may seem to be scam if there is none. It is also my way and I think it is effective but if I introduced crypto to my friends I am also keeping in their mind the risk they might face. Like you said "good management" because they may blame me if they failed to manage and I do not want to be on that point. Of course our aim here is help them not bring burden so they must understand this thing side by side. They may earn big but they may lose bigger.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difficulty of explaining Bitcoin to people is massive on: September 27, 2021, 11:52:41 AM
Hey guys!

I have noticed that whenever people in real life find out that I use bitcoin, they ask me to explain it to them. For example, some family friends that are my age came over to my house around 2 weeks ago, when they arrived, I was looking at crypto graphs because I had a little bit of money saved up to invest. Bitcoin was on one of the charts, so when they walked into my room, they asked about it, "You do bitcoin? How does it even work?." So I started explaining it to them, but what they didnt get was that it is decentralized. When I was explaining it they asked "Why doesnt bitcoin's creator give himself a billion bitcoin?" I told them that it is impossible for the creator to do so since he doesnt have control over the network, but after I said that, they told me that I was wrong and that since He made it, he can control it, which is incorrect. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to explain coins to non-crypto people?

A lot of people these days are becoming interested to cryptocurrencies but the problem is, most of them does not truly knew or understand it. Way back then, my friend who taught me about bitcoin only gave us sources and then let us worked on our own to learn about crypto. I guess it is really effective way to help others since internet contains lot of information that we need to understand this thing. On the other hand, we can be their guide in small things.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic on: September 25, 2021, 01:21:18 PM
Sometimes they can't control their emotions, just like China's policies are introduced one after another. Most Chinese crypto enthusiasts will choose to sell their tokens. News in their own country will make them more psychologically affected and pressured. Chinese miners also choose to move out of China, so they need to be psychologically prepared for unpredictable situations in the market.
Every single year China make these moves all over again and I think they intended to do this to manipulate the price of BTC & other cryptocurrency. There reasons are the same every year they just relaunch the same issue about cryptocurrency. But in the other hand, they secretly make their move to create their own digital money to use it in there country. We totally saw how China have big impact in cryptocurrency. Best time to buy for us.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: August 08, 2021, 02:11:30 PM
in the next 100 years, i guess Bitcoin will still remain as top 1 among other coins. Our technology is fastly moving and many more people will patronize digital currencies because of its good store of value. Many will be interested about cryptocurrencies.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BTC still top1 on the cryptomarket? on: August 08, 2021, 01:29:24 PM
Bitcoin is still the top one on the cryptomarket because it is the pioneer of all cryptocurrencies. It is a good store of value. It has already proven its worth and the value keeps on increasing. It is the most popular and reliable among other coins. It is widely used for online transactions especially in remittances and other online transactions.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: some people uneducate about Bitcoins on: August 08, 2021, 01:10:17 PM
Due to lack of research and knowledge not just only in bitcoins but with other cryptocurrencies. It also helps when a friend or relative is involved in cryptocurrencies just like trading and investing at the same time. It will be a lot easier to ask if someone knows the ins and outs of cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin. If someone is interested in bitcoin, he or she must be patient to learn.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin in the highest level of trust? on: August 08, 2021, 12:58:02 PM
Bitcoin is in the highest level of trust because it is the longest and pioneer of all bitcoin. It is the highest because of its value. It is the most famous coin and it has already established good reputation and referred to as digital gold. It is a good store of value. It is widely used for online transactions such as remittance, payments for purchases. It is fast, efficient and reliable coin. I believe it is the future currency.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: August 03, 2021, 02:18:19 PM
it is still fiat for now. Because fiat is still widely used. Bitcoin is not that acceptable and as of now, many are still clueless about bitcoin especially with those who do not have access to internet. Fiat is used in most countries and controlled by the government. but it will still be good and better if we have bitcoin. It is a store of value and good for long term investment.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin worth so much? on: August 03, 2021, 02:04:21 PM
Because bitcoin is the pioneer coin amongst cryptocurrencies. It started and launced in 2009, meaning it is the longest and most famous coin. It is often referred to as digital gold. It is the largest crypto. bitcoin is widely used for online transactions such as remittance, online payments and as a store of value.
