The Nanowallet works like a charm, I've got most of my XEM stashed away on my nanowallet.
It's up to anyone on how to store the wallet access file/code. I keep a hardcopy / written down just in case an EMP goes off in my house.
Safe as safe can be.

Hi, does anyone run XEM delegate harvesting?Any profitability calculator out there?And costs?Only 10k xem?Thanks. And I've heard that XEM nodes are pretty different from traditional masternodes and related somehow with activity. Any short guidline to this?

Probably supernode is more profitable? Yes, it is. But you need at least 3 Million XEM for it. Well it is basically free XEM, it doesn't cost anything (except 6 XEM initially for starting delegate harvesting) Your balance (unvested and vested) is 100% liquid at any time. |

I think that many people never heared of NEM before they read these news!
So NEM is just getting more popular with every company or goverment using the NEM blockchain...
It's a carbon copy of the previous pump and dump last summer. That time the price went down 10x and the volume dropped to less than 100 BTC again. I doubt it'll be that severe but something broadly similar is possible. I donīt believe that it would be similar ride than last summer rather complete opposite if bitcoin there is the second pump in the crypto markets. There also could be some big news in upcoming months (catapult). This negativity right here is kind of frustrating after following NEM from the beginning, they have managed to hit in the top 10 and I bet it just beginning. I could be wrong but I won't sell my XEM before it but I am kind of happy that many will. If I am correct there has been many big buy orders buying the weak hands off, which IMO is a good sign. I see it the same and loading more and more cheap XEM when times goes by. The more you get into NEM the more you believe in it and want to invest in it. Especially as you get to know better and better the community (E.g. Inside-NEM-YoutubeChannel, Telegram Chats, Slack etc.) and see that there are a lot of "strong hands" who have pretty good arguments to stay here for long. |

NEM value proposition is the public- and private chain interoperability and a Standard for banks.
Each chain can be used in the right purpose. The (trusted) private chain would be used within the bank (link an intranet) for speed and privacy reasons. If the bank sends an asset to another bank, the transaction would go through the public chain in order to get it publicly verified and arrives at the private chain of the other bank.
Which bank ? That was just a description of a usecase. If you want a bank then just wait and buy in at 20k sat or higher. I will sell it to you then with a big smile |

It's sad to see it lose all the gains it made recently
Its great, because i want to buy more.  "all" the gains I just bought a ton of XEM's again, unbelievable that people are selling so much. NEM is the best investion at the moment imo. It is very cheap and the only bad thing about NEM was the zero marketing, but it is not anymore. Catapult + 40$ million promotion fund for marketing = top 1 Coin I have no doubt about that! Absolutely agree. For me this is the less riskiest investment at the moment. I load every time more XEMs when it is going down like now. Unbelievable |

Seems like Catapult is almost ready  Well I hope it's not a buy rumor, sell fact type of situation. Catapult is a myth... Hope you will come back in some months, crying for missing the chance of your life and apologizing for beeing a dumphead. And don't worry, if you forget it I will write you a PM... I've only started altcoins, made few good but also few bad calls, which made me very cautious where I put my money into, but this NEM, got my attention like very few others. Others that were successful for me, but knock wood.
It's still quite cheap, so I'm just gonna hold Long Term, (+2 years) NEM's that I have and will increase amount by quite a bit. So voting for downwards trend next few days till I stock it up. But this ICO is coming in wrong time for me...
Soooo, yeah, GO NEM. Hope no disappointments.
I see it the same. Adding every time, when there are dips like now, some little amount to my stake. The NEM chart reminds me an ebb on the beach, while the tsunami is building up and coming with imense pace towards the market. |

Congratulations devs, you killed Steemit. After hard fork 19 platform is officially dead. Nobody can vote, whales only vote for themselves and each other. People who write quality blogs can't even be noticed. You need to publish HF20 asap if you want to save the platform.
Can you go a bit more into detail. I would consider myself as a ""quality"" blog with little traction. But I have a feeling I am doing better after HF19 than before. |

Fair enough. Just don't invest in NEM. That is totally fine. You will not make a profit from your decision but gain a very good experience for life. For the others: There are massively big things coming up very soon. Catapult, New Website, NEM Framework, NEMpay, Marketing inciatives etc. But step by step. Well thank you ) However my point here is not to sound spammy like if im trying to get upvotes through this forum lol. My point is to understand how some posts have huge visibility, and some dont. Steemit is quite new and doesn't have the volume of Youtube for example.So if a post get 2000-3000 views is good on Steemit. Of course, upvotes make you be in the "hot" or "trending" category and gives your post more visibility etc.. But a person that is new and posts amazing stuff is treated unfairly i think. I believe in Steemit really. People have to focus on good content, and stop seeing steemit as a cash cow only. Not that it's bad, but it would be bad for it to have the wrong etiquette. Thank you all and be well Money sometimes has a strange way of turning 'good' content into 'mediocre' content in my opinion. The previous algorithms tended to encourage 'pilling on' and voting for popular content in an effort to maximize the curation rewards. My hope is that this will gradually straighten out as people learn more about the changes from the latest fork. I've noticed that there has been a lot of progress and changes with efforts being made to improve the system to try to balance things out. In some ways the technical side of the issue can only go so far and it going to take a bit of community effort to focus on upvoting content from the less visible authors. There are also many "influencers" who are helping out new content-creators. About the harvesting:
Just to be sure. I just follow the instructions, click the tiny play button and thatīs it? No need to make further settings? Except for checking if the node is still connected once in a while. The node doesnīt matter security-wise or are there differences between the nodes?
And there is no additional risk in loosing my funds whatsoever when I use delegated harvesting?

Yes, no need for further settings. Instead of the Play-button, you see now a Stop-button. This also indicates that your harvesting is running. You can also monitor the connection of your node via "NEMnotifications"-Bot on Telegram ( Atm however, I think is is broken). Yes, there is no additional risk loosing your funds. The delegated Node has no access to your funds. |
