I ever wondered how DASH managed to get on Kraken, DASH is a bit shady IMHO.

Hope the devs are interested in getting XEM to Kraken, 50k usd isn't much for them or even for our community.

I'll guess we could manage this without the devs if we want, we would just need about 310000 XEM at current price.

 

A very good idea! We should collect the 310000 XEM. Maybe the devs are willing to contribute the difference between collected and needed XEM (just in case that we aren't able to collect the whole bunch of 310000)

I would be willing to contribute as it would increase awareness of NEM/XEM.  It might be a good idea to do a Community Proposal to obtain funding from the Community
Fund too.  

Say, did the  NEM Framework proposal pass?  I believe they asked for 15 million XEM from the Community Fund.  310000 XEM is a reasonable number for greater
exposure on Kraken.  It is a first class operation.

I'm away from my regular machine for a while and I always seem to forget my nem forum password so that's someone else's job for the week.

Before anything else though someone needs to find out what the deal is from Kraken. I don't know if they publicise this. Perhaps someone semi official needs to ask.

I remember something about that recently, but unable to recall in fully.
They reject proposals from non members or non active members.
They accept only active members proposals. Not sure was this Polo I read about, or Kraken, one of those two for sure.

I think the best option to get on Kraken is for all of us to keep nagging them on facebook or private messages etc to be added.

They will soon get the message if enough people make some noise.

Lets show everyone that we can be added unlike DASH that had to pay $50K!

Bittrex hasn't resolved my issue about my NEM being sent without encrypting the message. They haven't recovered my balance yet, will they ever  try to do it? I received an email just today stating my ticket are closed and I have to update the ticket incase the issue weren't resolved. I guess I'm gonna be losing 4K NEM for this.

i had same issue but they refund xem to my balance afther ~2 week.

Its been two weeks already since I sent my ticket to them. I was expecting they could resolve my issues but seem not taken care of.
Was hoping I could regain it incase I will really lost it all so I bought few XEM again to be added to my stash. If resolved, I might not send it again to them.

50K is reasonable to pay to ad to kraken, they are out to make money and it costs money and has some  risk.

though not much risk.

NEM has more than enough money to pay for this.

We don't know whether 50K is sufficient to be listed on Kraken. There is no official info, somebody just posted this in the forum. Perhaps NEMs trading volumes are too low for Kraken to list it.

You could be right... Perhaps this needs to be done systematically, make people aware of coin, get the volumes up and then approach to the biggest, in that case they should gladly accept it. According to all that I've seen so far, this is not a small time coin.
Either way, I'm down for whatever...

I sent XEM to Bittrex a long time ago and asked them what is going (coins are in a limbo) but no answer... Am I the only one with this problem?

If you have the private key, you can simply create a new wallet by clicking on "Sign up" and then choosing "Private key wallet" and supplying the necessary data.
