Yes the crash of bitcoin affects altcoins but there are lots of coins which are not overpriced like bitcoin now so even though they may be affected a little bit, they will not crash hard.

I dont know but ripple may rise more in 2018, if you think long term, yes they may be cheap but for short term they are not cheap. and that rise could turn a crash anytime, so get your profit if you don't hold ripple long term

Hodl ripple always it is getting bigger and bigger  I don't have ripple, I would hold it always, I mean I never sell all of ripple I hold, just sell some when I need money

Diversifying is to decrease risk, it may not increase your profit. I diversify to 15 coins at most.  You should at least know what coin you are investing  Investing in 50 coins is nonsense.

Patientory is one of the projects in healthcare industry, though we still cannot see any development regarding the software yet I believe it will be valuable both as a coin and project.

It's not about joining party, buying cryptocurrencies. Banks don't buy ripple, or microsoft are not interested in sys's coin. They use the technology that these projects offer, it may contribute the value of their coins for sure.

I agree with you, even a good project's coin may be cheap but bitcoin or ethereum can give you more profit in the long term. You should be very careful with that amount of money in this market.

I don't think of buying any coin now   but if I do, I will buy undervalued coins, you may think that x coin is undervalued now but you probably don't look at its ico price. One of the best coin to invest in now is OAX, I am saying (one of the..) there are other coins as well but I don't have time to look at them. I don't say it as I am in their campaign now, it is now maybe the best coin to invest considering its future potential and current price.
