Also when I try to follow that step I go to Control Panel -> but there is nothing called Network and Sharing Centre
Click the dropdown in the top right hand corner that says "View by:" and select "Large Icons" instead.  Then you will have a list of all the control panel options.

Cheers.
602  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [SOLD OUT -- SHIPPING] AntMiner Jumper Switch GB on: September 05, 2014, 09:08:06 PM
Everyone should have a PM--please get back with me as soon as convenient and we'll get these shipped.  The breakdown on shipping via USPS flat rate boxes was rather uneven:  a small can manage 15, a medium can store 100 and the large can move 200.  For those of you that ordered between 15 and 100, we'll use larger poly-bubble mailers to get them to you cheaper than the medium flat rate box.

Cheers!

Switches are in--I'll be weighing and packaging orders tonight to determine how many can be shipped in what size of box.  I'll be contacting each group buy member in the order we've listed in OP.  Stay tuned.

The switch is well constructed and the solders are tight and professional--my initial opinion is high.

Cheers.

When handling or applying any pressure at all on the Trezor's case, I hear lots of creaking/sticky plastic noises.  I tried this on someone else's Trezor and did not notice this. Is this normal?

My plastic (white) model seems very sturdy.

Good afternoon, people.

UPS tracking has been updated, and it looks like I'll have units by Thursday night of this week.  We're going to work that evening to get everything packed up and ready to go, and will be contacting everyone regarding postage due once we've packaged the individual orders.

As always, feel free to ping me if you have any questions!

607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Tech L1?? on: September 02, 2014, 04:19:38 PM

You need to power them with a external PSU, which some people may not consider "plug-n-play."  That said, the configuration is webbased and they are as straight forward as the come.

You may need to make a slight modification to your broadband router, but many people here are more than happy to assist!

Cheers.

Let me clarify.  I cannot mine using GPU's because it's too complicated code-wise.

So do these antminers come preloaded with some simple UI and mining software like you see on other rigs from BFL or Cointerra.  I hate to even mention BFL but they do have units which are plug and play.

Cheers!

Yes, they have a web-based configuration and monitoring system built into the machines.  Look for Dogie's threads on setup for more information.

Cheers.

Are these Bitmain antminers plug and play like Cointerra or do you have to set them up?  I'm not a techie so this could be a problem for me when it comes to setting up the mining software.

Thanks!

Happy labor day, people!

I've received a tracking number for our order this morning, and I'll get it posted as soon as the label is moving--it currently just shows that the label has been created.

More details as the shipment moves--its does note arriving in two packages of a total weight on 5KG.

Cheers.

Bitmain updated their site today with the following:

Quote
We are sorry to inform you that the shipping date for AntMiner Jumper Switch will be delayed until Sep. 1st, Beijing Time (UCT+8:00 Time Zone). We will ship out the Switch as soon as possible. Apologize again for any inconvenience that caused.

I'll let everyone know as soon as these ship, and we'll still plan on getting them out to GB members within 48 hours!  I appreciate everyone's patience in the matter, and am happy to field any questions in the thread or via PM.

Cheers.

Hello,

i'm planning to buy the 2x S3+ version. i don't see the price fro shipping. do you know what is the cost for ship to Boston, zipcode 02115.

thanks

It's included in the price.  At least that's what it says right on the Bitmain site  Huh
This is correct, the shipping is included in the price.  US residents should generally expect a 2-day transit time once the product has been delivered to the carrier.
612  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ebay chargebacks on: August 22, 2014, 03:35:41 AM
I've also had very little problem with chargebacks, just to weigh in.  Maybe two returns (that were functional when returned) out of a hundred miners.  The buyer in both cases couldn't figure them out, so I wasn't out anything but the hassle.

While you're at it - ask them to release the code for the S3!  Wink

In fact demand it!  Smiley

They replied to that request this evening and will be uploading the code to github shortly.  ;-)

At op I am on this list for 6 I have not paid anyone so far.

At mstrongbow  I would want the back plate.

not sure what I need to pay  or how this will develop

but I am in for six switches and 6 back plates.

Philip,

You can pay when they arrive, or you can pay now before they arrive.  We're going to sort out shipping once we determine how many can safely be shipping in small/medium/large Priority USPS boxes.

Your 6 units are allocated from the 500, and they'll be ready when you are!  Shoot me a PM if you would like to sort out shipping, we can probably work something out for 6 now.

Mr. mstrongbow will be building plates for these units once his arrive!

Cheers.

okay may as well send my 6 right to mstrongbow   saves double shipping.

send  me a pm with a btc bill.

 then ship them to mstrongbow.

At mstrongbow   is this okay that my six are sent with yours?

Cool with me broski  Grin
I'll send you a PM, Philip, and make a note to send your 6 to mstrongbow.

Showing those skills again eh?  I'm not married buddy,

I did my research - you've got your wedding ring as your profile picture you moron.

That is a ring they give to engineers after they become Professional Engineers.
You really need to get out of the basement, there is a whole world outside of video games with real shit going on.
