The derby didn't go well at all seeing the dominance Athletic Club had yet they lost to Athletic Madrid who were at the mercy of the home team. the early goal from Antonio Griezman demarcated the both club and a full 3 point for the away club (Athletico Madrid). Real Betis and Real Sociedad might have to push them to the sixth position where they will start finding their way up again. Athletico Madrid never deserved their win at all.
The final result 0-1 between Athletic Club - Atletico Madrid is quite interesting. However, this also decides the position in the standing of La Liga. The point gap is so small. However the goal is only 1 created but this determined that Atletico Madrid won and was better in the match. But at this time, the position of the Athletic Club began to be threatened. Because, if Real Betis and Real Sociedad win, then the points will be above Athletic Club. It's a pretty exciting position struggle. Players from Athletic Club made some mistakes that costed them the defeat, even when Atlético de Madrid didn't play really well either. Tottenham just met the expectations today and defeated Everton 2-0 comfortably. In fact the game would have been more interesting if Everton were able to make use of a couple of chances they found in the first half but they weren't able to score. Tottenham were as usual as for becoming effective in scoring goals. Kane scored another one and Hojbjerg scored one of his classic goals.
Conte's Tottenham are very determined this season. I don't know how much they will be able to keep up with Manchester City especially. But for now it seems like they will stay in the competition for many more weeks. As a person who's bored of seeing Manchester City turning the league into a farmer's league, I'd like to see some different teams fighting for the title as well.
Everton met the expectations too and lost, I didn't see the match but looking at the stats, Everton played terribly, 0 shots in the second half and 0 shots on target in total in both halves, Tottenham had it really easy against them. |

Liecester have been really poor in terms of performance this season, the least I expected from them is just one win in 8 games, this is so poor and if they go on this way I fear they will get relegated this season. Everton are showing much improvement for some weeks now even though they lost to United, they played well and should have gotten atleast a draw if they converted most of their chances.
It seems there is no hope again for Leicester City, from 9 matches, they could only make 1 victory. This is very bad, even if they are in the lowest rank. It is possible enough that Leicester City to perform much better if they make some good fixes in some elements. They actually still have some talented players, and they need certain appropriate tactics to implement by the coach. Additionally, there may be something wrong with their management. Let's see what they can do to face Crystal Palace in which is also a club with some decreased performance. I don't know what the Juventus owner saw in Allegri so he was not willing to change the Juventus coach until now, many great coaches can be obtained for free such as tuchel or zidane temporarily managing Juventus. Napoli's performance is so much better (in series A or in UCL) when compared to Juve and this is really beyond expectation. Juventus has been making the worst decision by still allowing allegri to manage the club. I don't know what position that will be achieved by the club at the end of season. There's no reason for juventus to use allegri anymore. It seems like juventus will be sacked allegri if juventus will face another just like 5 -10 loses in a row. What a very bad decision by the club. This club just like a mediocre club. That's right, Juventus in the Ionian season looked like an ordinary club even though the money they spent in the transfer market was not small and even Juventus are one of the teams that spend a lot of money to buy players and pay their players. I think it can't be separated from the change in strategy and starting eleven that Galtier implemented in that match, for sure Galtier saved the energy of his players for the champions league match.
If you look at it again, PSG are just unlucky even though there are many opportunities but PSG players fail to score. and I think giving Sergio Ramos a red card was the referee's decision that cost PSG the most, the referee should have given a yellow card. I saw that Ramos' protest was not excessive, instead he was given a red card. The referee's decision needs to be questioned. Real Madrid odds are slightly better than Barcelona. Their games in Champions League require more effort from Barcelona's players comparing to Real Madrid's one. Yet everything could happen obviously. I find Barcelona better but sometimes the concentration level is a bit lower which leads to disasters like what happened in Inter's match. Now in the next game vs Inter, it will be bad if Barcelona lose again. After 8 rounds in La Liga, Barcelona received only 1 goal at the opposite of CL where they received 4 in 3 games.
Actually, with all due respect to the opponents in La Liga with whom Barcelona had previously played their matches, it seems that the level of the Champions League teams should be higher in status, and therefore, you should not be surprised at the 4 goals that the team missed in the Champions League. I am rather even more surprised that Barcelona conceded only one goal in La Liga, because the same Celta had a very good chance to score at least one goal in the match in the last round of the championship before El Classico. Xavi is facing a very difficult task right now, because he needs to win against Inter in a Champions League match to keep his chances of reaching the playoffs, and then in four days he will have a game with Real Madrid, where he also needs a result, at least for the sake of prestige. Lazio are at an incredible level at the moment. I doubted their win against Fiorentina today honestly but they proved me wrong by an insane performance. They demolished Fiorentina away by 4-0. After this victory they have increased their winning streak to four games as well and climbed to the 3rd position in the standings.
They have very impressive statistics lately. They scored 14 goals and conceded 0 goal in their last 4 games. This is a perfect performance even if this series end by their next game in the league. As it is going to be against Udinese who knows how it will end. Udinese are also one of the winner teams this season.
a lot of teams are popping off out of nowhere, this is making things way harder for Inter and Juventus to finish the season in a good position, Napoli, Atlanta, Lazio, Udinese, Ac Milan and Roma, all of them are ahead of Juve and Inter, so i can say that one of them at least is not going to even get a sixth spot. |

Unfortunately Bayern Munich was only able to make it level and it looked like they were struggling to score again because in the last minute they were penetrated by the Dortmund striker which caused them to get 2 goals chasing Bayern Munich. This shows that Dortmund is not easy to assume they have the potential to beat Bayern Munich.
regardless of the draw, in my opinion This is a game that never disappoints. A football spectacle with fantastic atmosphere, pace, fighting, rivalry, intensity, cards and of course goals. For me (and millions of people around the world) one of the greatest games in Europe. I am a fan of the Bundesliga league and am very happy to see the Bundesliga getting more competitive. Tsitsipas being an young player have got good support and can base. The years of experience keeps Djokovic ahead of Tsitsipas. Similar kind of game took place few months back in the Italian Open Final. Djokovic and Tsitsipas played the final and Tsitsipas won the match 6-0 75-65. Today's match looked like an much easier win for Djokovic. However Tsitsipas used to give the best in all his matches.
It is not only experience, Djokovic is just on another level than Tsitsipas. I think a lot of people have very high expectations of Tsitsipas but until now, he has not really lived up to the high expectations. Granted, he is still young (24 years old) so he got some more time to grow further. Tsitsipas didn't not live up to the expectations of tennis fans, i was one of them and thought he's going to be one of the new big 3 or something but i was disappointed, and other players that i thought the same about them are not showing up at all, like Thiem and Zverev, we should give them more time though, they are young still, maybe after Nadal and Djokovic retire we'll see some big competition between them. |

Which will give them hope to do well in the World Cup. But Brazil has a bunch of young footballers capable of leading the team to the finals. Argentina are not really that ready, Brazilian players are doing way better, also Messi got injured recently, so it could affect his performance after, without forgetting the injury of Dybala as well, i think the world cup is highly in favor of Brazil, their players are doing way better than any other nation. Brazil is in excellent condition. I don't remember them having such a good staff in a long time. Argentina is in trouble with injuries. I hope there will be no shortcomings in the world cup. Because in this world cup, it will be very enjoyable to watch stars such as Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo. Don't forget Mbappe. It will be a very enjoyable world cup. United should qualify easily in this average group , they are just underperformed in the last few seasons despite having a huge transfer budget and splashing the money into big names , yet they are struggling get too many draws and losses, lack of achievements and slowly losing its place as one of the biggest club in the world.
this time i would say united might qualified to get through the next phase but will remain struggle to get any trophy especially this europa league trophy where they used to compete in the highest level competition , now even europa league would get them a hard times.

Aubameyang seems to be one of the most favoured players this year, moving from one top team to another is really wonderful especially at this stage of his career. A move to PSG seems unlikely though but it will be another stepping stone to his career if this move is realistic. I think he is settling well at Stanford bridge and a move at the moment doesn't look like an option for Aubameyang.
Aubameyang proves to his fans that if he moves to another team he can still have an achievement by getting goals in every game, at least he contributed to this match and brought Chelsea to win by a high enough score. Hopefully Aubameyang will last a long time and be able to work well with the team for a long time and make his career glorious. Indeed, this player adapts easily to any team. I still remember how easily he adapted last year when he joined Barcelona. Well now he is back in the English league, hopefully by the end of the season he will open up much better, besides I think Chelsea already value this player. We will have El Classico on the next matchday (matchday 9). The winner of El Classico will determine which team to lead La Liga standings with some point gaps. But if the result is a draw, there will be no change in the position and they will remain the same points. Sure, the end of this season is still very far, but winning the EL Classico may be a sign of which team to win the La Loga title this season.
That is why the el classico is highly anticipated by all. because indeed from the results of the match later we can at least see and measure the quality of these two teams when they meet. and we'll see which one is superior. if in the past in pre-season Barcelona won, then will it be the same now? I didn't understand why Brest were favorites against Lorient even though both teams situation says otherwise, Lorient are 2nd right now and Brest are in last position, that is a very big difference between the two, also the goal difference is another factor to make Lorient at least slightly favorites in that match, but Brest were the favorites with odds of 2.25, and they lost, a draw is the best they could've gotten I my opinion.

Arsenal this season makes things very hard for the other teams especially City. It has been quite long time since gunners were performing like that.
The victory against Liverpool with 3 goals to 2 was impressive.
They won against Liverpool and everybody knows that Liverpool is in pretty bad shape right now even Manchester United was able to dominate them so yeah there isnt anything special about this. I'd love to watch Arsenal play against some other top teams right now to convince me that they have a shot on the top spot otherwise its pretty unconvincing though generally speaking, if they can beat all those teams that they played against so far, they're are good, I don't think they really need to beat Manchester City to prove how strong they are, they already beat Tottenham who are in the third spot with 20 points, Man City are the only one big left, but I'll say it again, it won't prove anything when they face each other, what matters the most is consistency, and they're killing it so far. |
