For now, we are listing HashCo.ws as the multipool to go to for AC payouts. In the meanwhile, we have development plans for a multipool.

Is there any way to mine AC at this time? I heard that there was some multipool which could still mine, does anyone know anything about this?

You may mine here.  http://ac2.pool.mn/  They don't seem to be paying out yet, but hopefully that changes now that AC is back on Cryptsy (and of course, MintPal).

I just started mining there, but had to use ac.pool.mn, as the 'ac2' didn't work for the miner.
At any rate, im not seeing any shares accumulate yet, so im assuming they are not yet ready to resume mining.

I've been mining about 48 hours or so, keeping faith that they will pay out when it's (now) back on all major exchanges. I hope to see some soon.
Seems likely that you are throwing away your mining power. I suspect nothing will count until they actually activate things.

I also think this is possible. I'm not out to make other people rich at my expense, even at only 350 khash a second haha. I've since stopped mining. I want to support the coin but have no BTC, so I was trying to be helpful.
You might want to try mining at hashco.ws instead. Even when AC is not available as a payout option, you can opt for BTC.

I've created a video to help spread the word about the new fixes, it also goes a little bit into the history of AsiaCoin.

If you guys like it, I would appreciate any donations.

Name URBANSOLDIER90?Huh nobody knows any more?Huh

the creator of this movie!!!!! This f**ker was the old DEV right?

Bounties were given out for videos to be made by the original dev. Dmann is just someone who claimed one of the video bounty.

Foul me once, shame on you. Foul me twice, shame on me.
Once a scumcoin always a scumcoin. Even a donkey does not bump his head against the same stone twice.

This so called revival is probably well orchestrated and premeditated by the original scammer. I have never and will never buy even 1 coin.
Just a fair warning to believers. If you lost money on this, take it as a man and be gone.

High risk investment warning, scam potentially continueing.
Interesting for the same scam dev to assemble a team instead? Investment in crypto-currencies have always been high risk in the first place. You might want to do your research on the entire team to justify that this revival is orchestrated. We are pretty transparent until now.

GUYS BEWARE I WITHDRAW MY AC LAST NIGHT IN BITTREX TO BTER UNTIL NOW I STILL DONT HAVE IT
Bittrex had some issues with their AC wallet last night. You might want to check with the exchange directly.

http://ac.hashhot.com   update to wallet v2.0
Are you a multipool? If not, AsiaCoin is now PoS. Not in PoW anymore.

fool me twice, sike not gonna happen
You do know that we don't own MintPal and we have no say on when they will relist AC right? You might want to contact MintPal since several other mid-sized exchanges have listed us and Crypsty may be relisting us within the next few days. For now, you got Bter and Poloniex.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AC] Official AsiaCoin | MANDATORY Wallet Update 2.0 | Premine Voided on: May 10, 2014, 04:37:47 PM
Any news at all about CRYPTSY yet? I tried using the trollbox on there and noone knew anything. Any info much appreciated.

maybe they lost our AsiaCoins  Grin  Grin
Crypsty has the v2.0 wallet but they are still reviewing it. For now, only Bter.com amongst the big exchanges has an active trading pair for AC.

Wish I could start staking Sad Have to wait for the mac wallet.

This staking is unfair for mac users, it's giving pc users an unfair advantage!!!! I say all mac users should be compensated with a few AsiaCoins to make it fair Smiley Or the wallets should have been release at the same time Smiley
Most users are actually on Windows given that Mac users are in the minority. Given the turnaround time we took to come up with a patched Windows wallet, I think this is probably the best we can do. I personally used the Mac wallet but switched my wallet to the new Windows v2.0 wallet.

Quick question about POS.  I upgraded my wallet yesterday morning and haven't received a stake yet.  The majority of my coins, about 70k, have been in my wallet since April 17/18.

Is anyone else receiving a stake? or should I just be more patient? Smiley

Thanks again to the new dev team you guys are the best!
Is your wallet unlocked? If it is encrypted, it has to be unlocked in order to stake. The default post-installation state should be unlocked and unencrypted.

Maestro1, Mcryon, and team
First thank you very much for giving Asiacoin a second chance through all your hard work

I have downloaded the new wallet and just opening the file it started syncing and all seems fine and all coins there. Deleted the old wallet (back up still off line in case) and need to know if there is anything else I need to do. Do I need to use the code: asiacoin-qt-rescan?

Donated 10,000 AC to the address on the OP, this is the transaction ID, please let me know all is good.

1bf47847a12074f1008f1f674e71276a839aef62a9d98d0477fe7c44a61c2676

again, thank you all and if it climbs to 10k satoshis a million thanks Smiley

Thx for ur donations Smiley this is going towards the blockchain as promised!

Can you guys put a "Asiacoin Official Dev" in your signatures so we know who guys are as this coin revs up again?  I have a feeling this thread is going to get some heavy traffic soon.
The risk of a fake is always possible. Maestro1 will maintain the team list on the 2nd post. Technically, not all of us are in the development team. I am only handling the website and part of the marketing team.

Hashhot Pool http://ac2.hashhot.com   is updated...
AsiaCoin is already in PoS. There is not direct mining anymore. You can contact us if you are interested in setting up a multipool that pays out in AC.

Is the coin PoW difficulty frozen at 274.46071294? What's up with that? It's stayed static over the past 5000 blocks or so, and I see the hash rate hasn't really changed either. According to the latest wallet, networkhashps  went from ~19GH at block 27377 up to ~21GH at block 32106. What's up with that? Are people still trying to mine AC directly? Or are these just miscellaneous bugs? Considering the temporary block explorer is down, I think we still have a problem. Hopefully it doesn't really matter, but given the checkered past of this coin things like this won't help instill confidence!
AsiaCoin is already in POS stage, no more directing mining of AC. The only way to mine AC is to mine on multipools and have your payout in AC.
After PoW stage, it should be difficult to reach 19,21 GH of network hashpowers at block 27377 and 32106. We will be stay at PoW+PoS stage if the data trogdorjw73 provided is correct. Is this possible to reopen the block explorer let more community members to check this issue? We should do more care about this matter since three exchanges allow AC transaction now.  Thanks for all your efforts, great community and team members.
A hard fork will be required. However, the community and the current team has already decided on retaining the PoS specification with some with ensure that the total number of coins will be similar to the original specifications.

I'm happy to announce that we are releasing the new Asia Coin wallet today.

Download:

Instructions:

1. Close your old wallet (or delete it altogether).
2. Backup your wallet.dat file, just in case something goes wrong
3. Extract the new wallet into a folder
4. Hold Shift + Right click somewhere on the empty folder (not on file)
5. Choose "Open command window here"
6. Type the following command and press enter:

Code:
asiacoin-qt -rescan

Delete the old wallet binaries and dll files.

You do not need to redownload the blockchain. This command will rescan your blockchain with your wallet addresses, and updates the database of the client. Once it is done (will take a few minutes), your new wallet will work as expected and your coins are valid, and your balance should be the same regardless of where your coins came from, except the original developer's wallet addresses which are invalidated. All other features of the wallet (staking, locking/unlocking, console) should work as expected.

Note: Those who received the wallet privately for internal testing do not need to upgrade to this wallet. It is the exact same version.

We have also set up an Asia Coin donations address, posted on the OP.
If you are happy with what we are doing, you can give us some trust feedback too! Smiley

Please let us know if you have any issues. Please send the word out to the community that the new wallet is out, and they need to upgrade as soon as possible to avoid risks.
Website updated with the MediaFire mirror link and instructions in the News section.

We need a moderator! Then it will be less trolls!

What sucks is you ignore a fucker like primer- and you still see responses to his ass!
We got to stop feeding the trolls.

Hello team marketin and dev' . The relase blockchain should have  been  launched yesterday .
Can I have some informations of reason of this late ?
On your first page , you say ' We prepared the fix earlier than scheduled [...]' .
Why there is a late ?

Thank you support this coin !
The new wallet has to be released to exchanges first to make sure that the blocked wallet will remain blocked. We are also waiting for confirmation from the exchanges as they are reviewing the wallet as well.

so,i want to know when AC will add to Mintpal and Cryptsy in what the price will start? Smiley Smiley Smiley
It is up to MintPal. Our recommendation is for them to allow deposit and withdrawals in a week.

Dear Community,

I have another great news. I have been in contact with HashCows multipool and they have agreed to add Asia Coin as one of their payment options, once Asia Coin is relisted for trades on major exchanges.

+1 Great news, great work.

+1 Grin
In line with the good news, we swapped away the pianist background image on the official website for something more relevant to Asia. I seems fitting to use an icon that stands above everything else.

Guys, don't feed the troll. Cheesy
Problem is that he has so little shame that he'll keep coming back and crapping on the thread, and to newcomers and untrained observers, it'll look like he has the last word. Since the thread's not moderated, we might just have to keep bashing him. What a pain.
I am getting numb to the trolling. I believe as long as we keep at the good work we have done so far, people will notice and the confidence in AC will come back.
