I hope that devs will adjust the balance between POS and POW in the next update.
Now 99% is POS and 1% POW. Nobody mines this coin now, too bad, with this great algo HMQ1725 there are lots of ways to mine this coin, even for people who just start mining and don't many big miners and stuff. A 50-50 balance between POS and POW would be great.

has there been some kind of fork or update in the XVG blockchain last weekend?
why do I ask... zpool X17 stopped working, zpool says it has something to do with the XVG wallet to resync after a fork. I think this is rather weird because today X17 stopped working at zpool and worked fine yesterday (oct 15) and I read nothing about an XVG fork or update (or did I miss something?)
no, there is no fork on the XVG network. we've made updates to our master branch, but they're working smoothly and have been tested. maybe they can clarify? I found it hard to believe about the fork. But anyway, they are fixing it by resyncing their xvg wallet and X17 will be up soon on zpool (great pool by the way). Maybe it has just bad choice of words by zpool (when I asked about it) on twitter I guess it was just a crash of the XVG wallet on their server. |

1. write it out in reverse (bottom right- left) (middle right- left)(top right-left)
2. add a 5 on the front
3. Swap the the last 2 digits
4. Swap the 15th digit with the last digit

WTF? Are you serious? Where did you get that? Did he screw up printing the private key like that on purpose or by accident? Yup, on purpose. At least for the specific number I bought this is what I was told would work. I never tried it but it's worth a shot to anyone trying to redeem these coins. Edit: Can anyone confirm receiving similar instructions from gravitate? Please post any variations. Nope, never received any of this regarding privkeys. I redeemed several 0.01 coins in the time Clam got popular, all private keys imported in the bitcoin-qt without any problem. Also importered some on blockchain.info without any problem. |

What is this crap?? eternity?? you are always responsible for you own actions and buys. You know the risk when buying a coin from somebody else then you who knows/handles the private key. You should have thought about that before you bought the coin(s), this is with every coinmaker. Years ago I had money on a bank account, the bank had a official license, the bank went bankrupt, bye bye money. I trusted the bank with my money, a risk I took. Legally I could do nothing, all my money was gone. That is the risk you take when you trust a third person or company with your money, you own responsiblity. |

yes, in the past I redeemed some 0.01 microsoul coins, all were funded. I also checked my unredeemed coins on blocktrail and all are funded. |

He is just saying there will be no more support or after 2 months from now. You don't have to redeem Microsoul coins if you don't want to. Maybe I will redeem some of my coins because there is also bitcoincash on them, but I will sure keep 1 coin of each type unredeemed. So if you have any problems regarding his coins act now within these 2 months and after that just leave him be, get on with life, enjoy life, be happy Matthew just wants to stop with microsoul, that is his own choice and we have to respect that. Too bad, coins are nice and Matthew is nice and trusted guy. |

no, we dont offer x11. we do offer x17 though =] We seriously need to add SHA 256. People who mine SHA 256 don't know whether to keep their BTC or their BCC. They need a legit alternative ASAP. SHA256 is soooo 2012 Verge is the best multi-algo coin, it runs like a charm, no need to change or add algorithms. I'm not disagreeing with the "best multi-algo coin" or "runs like a charm" assertions, but you didn't really refute the point I made. It would bring on way more miners at a time of uncertainty for SHA 256 miners. Surely a larger userbase is beneficial. Calling it multialgo without adding the most widely used algo is nonsensical. Stopping at scrypt is undershooting. with SHA256 large mining companies will go mining XVG big time, "stealing" all rewards from the small miners that already keep the chain running. Verge does not need more hashpower, transactions are fast already and enough miners to support the chain with the current algos. plenty of coins out there for SHA256 miners |
