601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if you lose $2,000 in trading? on: February 23, 2018, 07:26:44 AM
So if I lose $5,000 I should just ignore everything you said?

In any case, trading losses are only a true loss when actualized by converting to fiat. If you never convert, you never lose.
If you never convert, you never lose. I so much love that. Some people don't usually consider that anyway and they let their emotions and panic rule them until they make a mistake.

Patience sometimes after you have lost so much and then finding a way to strategize is always the best option for every trader. We cannot always have it all, but as long as you understand what you are holding and you know a market cannot keep going down forever except for a dead shitcoin, then you should have nothing to worry about. Well said, mate !
602  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market fell sharply, what is going on? on: February 23, 2018, 06:43:59 AM
I heard, now the market is down because of blocking all about Bitcoin on Facebook, so investors are less informed and also the prohibition of almost all countries that Bitcoin is illegal.
Lol. I wonder why you all expatiate something to be big out of nothing.
For heaven sake, you need to start filtering where you may be hearing some of these things if you want to live long in this cryptocurrency space because those things like this ones will definitely mar your pocket in the long run and you will regret it.

This has nothing to do with Facebook, they only revisited their ads policy, and then gave reasons but normally a lot of people only read the headlines and leave out the contents. Bitcoin is here to stay and anyone who does not believe that should not even be here.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Asking if Bitcoin is Dead on: February 22, 2018, 11:50:59 AM
I think bitcoin will not die easily because its investors will not let that happen for the future bitcoin I guarantee will increase even higher even higher than before. I'll bet on that!
Unless we all decide and then declared we are done, then I do not see how the death of bitcoin will arise. Right now, the market is just plainly manipulated and it is concerning though. One time you think it is moving up and then the other it is going down.
It just simply shows how much some are playing with the charts, indicators to fool the traders. At the end of it all, bitcoin remains in a position to get better in the long run and anyone who wants to consider it dead will end up get old, dead while bitcoin is still very much alive.
604  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this year's Bitcoin exceed its maximum of US$ 20,000? on: February 22, 2018, 08:42:23 AM
We do not really know how high can Bitcoin go. All we are hoping is the fact that the prices of Bitcoin and other Alternate Coins stabilize. If people starts supporting Bitcoin and promotes it properly in a way it becomes useful for users.
Yeah, moreover since the market can decide to take any turn it likes at any moment in time. If over time, we get to see bitcoin breaks the downtrend line, we may end up having a confirmed reversal, but for now, nothing is guaranteed. Even after the confirmed reversal, nothing is still guaranteed as bitcoin can decide to keep going sideways for months and even years. However, who cares, the most important thing is the future and that is why holding feels a whole lot better.

Bitcoin has always shown a great sign of strength with its come backs but no one can predict anything based on what OP is asking but when the time comes and the price ends up hitting that point, we will all know but every long term holder should only try as much as possible to focus on the future and not now.
605  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of Chinese holiday... any effect on Bitcoin Price?? on: February 21, 2018, 05:29:59 PM
why all of you hoping chinese to help rise the bitcoin price ? when the bitcoin price is crash, all the people shout :f*k china ??chinese has nothing to do with it .
Lol, now when the price is down, they are still the same set of people saying that the Chinese will come buying when they are done with their new year. That is human for you mate! They always want to find a reason for everything even when there is absolutely none. It could be, it may not, but one certain thing is that bitcoin is a global market and it seems the community gives too much relevance to Chinese in this equation.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your Dice gambling strategy? on: February 21, 2018, 11:21:19 AM
my fav. dice stratcalculator
http://fiddle.jshell.net/2w9m0t1b/73/show/light/
i change my strategie after 20% profit and change seed
i like 76.15% 24.75% 12.38%
good luck
My advice is for you not to believe so much in any strategy, the only thing I will tell you is to gamble just the little you are comfortable of losing and see how your luck plays out with any strategy you end up bumping into as there are so many of them, but there is no guarantee at all.

I would not consider it a strategy anyway, I would only consider most of them an easy way of trying to play safe and smart, but most times, being smart does not have anything to do with gambling as long as your luck is not willing to give you the winning you wish.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people think that ETH can Overcome Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2018, 09:19:02 AM
Recently I am hearing some rumors or words that, Eth will beat bitcoin sooner or later. But I don't think so and I totally disagree with it. Bitcoin is Bitcoin, And Eth is like after Bitcoin, If bitcoin fall then eth will fall too. Then how can people think that ETH can Overcome Bitcoin? What do you think About this? Share your thoughts.

Because it can. The future of a coin does not depend whether it is the first or something, but on the community supporting it. ETH is promising and has fewer issues to deal with as compared to bitcoin. Also, there a lot of ERC tokens
Good for you bro! Keep up with the support, but I hope you are not just basically following others with the support and you are doing this based on the knowledge you have on the two projects. Do not get me wrong, Ethereum is a good project, but coming to tell me how Ethereum is better than bitcoin without any fact which I can counter, then please.

ERC tokens do not make a project and if you think bitcoin cannot be used to create tokens, read about Omni Layer Protocol. Knowledge is profitable to direct.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyetherWallet Security on: February 20, 2018, 08:29:09 AM
What is the safest way to log MEW among of these?
    1.Keystone File
    2.Private Key
    3.Connecting Metamask.
1, paper wallet - just print your privatekey and then keep your paper wallet on the safe place.
2, Metamask - that was adding more security layer to your wallet, I remember there is a lot of people are saying about they are never having any problem while using metamask to keep all of their amount.
3, Keystone - this should be the last due to the security measure is only pegged on your password.
I have been using metamask for a while now and I have never had any problem with it. It is an extension with a very strong layer of security and so far, I have never gotten any bad review about it, neither have I seen an issue with me using it. So far, I will rather stick to metamask than choose any of the other options.

All the above, keystore file seems to me like the safest unless you feel your PC is extremely safe, that is when you should be entering with your private key. I am always very scared to play with my private key anyway; maybe that is the reason why.

The most important thing is to always keep any of them safe; because even your keystore file lying anywhere is not good, if you cannot protect it.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has gone to shit on: February 20, 2018, 07:47:34 AM
The sad thing is the crash is not going to wash away these scams and shitcoins. Even shitcoins got a lot of hodlers, you know. However, I do believe this market will be more mature in the following years.
Crash can actually cause some of them to pack their bags one way or the other. Sometimes even the devs abandon a project and then if at all, you will see a lot of the projects getting drained in their own blood as people try as much as possible to flee, those who you referred to as holding are just going to end up bag holding the shitcoins and at the end give up, even exchanges get them delisted.

I can’t say that I don’t agree; however, the greed is on both sides. I don’t mind the scams and the greedy projects; as I can just avoid them. But so many people in the community are just as greedy and deceitful, yet can see their own behavior and just point fingers. Everyone see cryptos as a vehicle to quit their job at Burger King. I hope the community will be able to grow into a more mature group.
Yeah, the greed is huge and this is making it extremely difficult for the atmosphere to even have a clean air for breathing space. However, like you have said, they are unavoidable, and we just have to keep living with them one way or the other. One thing I believe though is that most of them will gradually end up dead and then probably will not even have any volume but this is going to take some time.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Millioner Portfolio for year 2018. now invest on: February 20, 2018, 07:06:08 AM
It will be difficult for people to follow the OP's advice on the one line instruction.
I am familiar with only 3 of your suggestions.

If indeed you have extensively researched each in your list you need to give us
some clues as to why you know these are positive performers.

Everyone can create a list like this and encourage others to invest in them with
only one line saying how great they will be!
He said it anyway for those who may care to do their own research. At least, he was kind enough to even show the community his own interest, and he does not really have to spoon feed everyone as those who are really interested will still hit the board and do some research all the same. However, with some of the coins and tokens listed that I know, I am sure he must have made a pretty decent choice.

I can see OP as someone who is really doing some research right now. I have some of those coins held right now and most especially my favorite being COSS. I really do not know why I have so much hope in this project, but then, it is glaring, and who should not? A very nice one and one with a lot of future prospect as long as the devs keep remaining active which so far, they have always been. Good most of them are even in their dip right now and anyone who is smart enough to invest now should reap some good benefit soon.
611  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to Millionaire! on: February 17, 2018, 02:55:31 PM
I'm agree with you, this is time to buy because historically in this month's Bitcoin down but I don't think we will millionaire this year, we should hold for a couple of years minimum.
No one knows the future, but you do not have to limit yourself. If you keep working harder and stashing up more, you may actually become a millionaire based on your own country's economy, as we do not have to see bitcoin becoming $1m before seeing that happen which we all know we are not even close. However, I believe that we should have new ATHs this year and I am so optimistic about it.

Yes, the best time to buy is always in panic.

Bitcoin is slowly growing, which is a good sign. More people will have faith in bitcoin.
Yes. By just taking your time to buy when everyone has decided to sell and then watching the volume to buy in when the institutions and whales are buying. Normal long traders buy when everyone is selling and sell when there is a huge FOMO where everyone just keeps buying. Long ways up without some good retrace normally results to moments like this.
612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering to $10,000 could bring a new buyers.. on: February 17, 2018, 11:48:39 AM
Bitcoin climbed back above $10,000 Thursday for the first time in two weeks and some analysts see the psychologically key level as a trigger for new buyers to come into the market.

What you say might very well be true, but I think $10,000 might be a psychological level for people to sell and book profits as well. This might more than make up for the new buyers coming in. Traditionally, new buyers come in when the price falls below a certain level, not on the way up.
Not all new buyers do that, most times, new buyers normally wait for the market should show a complete reversal of trend before they even get in and that is the level of certainty. Except for some buyers who may be active with the market and looking forward to see what happens next and also ready to get out if the market is no longer looking good, which will really be bad anyway, safe entry is always the best for most institutions. Psychologically though, most buyers would have been doing marginal buying even from $8000 - $6000 and back up.

I am very optimistic about the market and I really hope that the market can show a strong move from where we are now. For now, we may try to see where everything leads us, and hopefully with what the OP have mentioned, we get to start seeing huge volume in the market so we can go test the main line we are all wishing and have been waiting for now in more than weeks to break. A huge break from there should bring bitcoin back strong.
613  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis is Coming on: February 17, 2018, 08:39:13 AM
You don't like to bring bad news but you already called this a crisis. It's just part  of the endless cycle. Investors/traders love these kinds of happenings as these gives them opportunity to increase their standing. So people BUY during these times.
The cryptocurrency market is even a different space and I won't be even surprised if some funds are being moved out of the stock market into the cryptocurrency space as that is where the main profit is here right now and the institutions are beginning to see that. Well, this should not be seen as crisis as market can take any shape at any time, and the only time we should consider any crisis is seeing the stock market dead which I do not see happening at all.

I really hope that this crisis will only happen for a few moments so that does not make a person to panic when hearing a bad issue like this and stay patient to be able to achieve a success.
He is just the biggest carrier of bad news in case there is no one telling him and also an alarmist. Where is the crisis if I may ask? Because the stock market is declining? The rate at which some people really paint or picture things can really be baffling. While some are seeing the bad sides to everything and seeing crisis like the OP, the smart moneys are seeing future profit from the decline.
614  Economy / Economics / Re: Where you see a Crash, I see a Fire Sale! on: February 17, 2018, 08:01:25 AM
Me. They also say bitcoin is dead, no future, won't survive, every single time when the price experience dips or correction.
That's how it has always been right since the inception of bitcoin? Just cope up with it and sooner or later you wont even have an ounce of worry even if many people started spreading doom post about bitcoin. Just always remember that bitcoin is resilient and it have a chance for recovery every time it dumps so take the risk so that you wont regret and say that you missed the bitcoin boat after it has pumped again.
You know when you have heard it so many times and you have lost count, and then bitcoin recovers and you ask yourself if bitcoin is really not dead already. If something ends up happening by saying it alone, bitcoin would have been dead a very long time ago and nothing would have made it recover, but here we are, the same old people keep reappearing and pronouncing bitcoin dead whereas the smart ones are seeing what the fools cannot see.

Buy when everyone is selling and sell when everyone is buying, most especially when you are seeing huge weak points in the market and a lot of greed. I still do not understand why some usually don't end up learning their lessons anyway and then they end up making a terrible mistake and coming to the forum to dissipate their stupidity at the end of it all. Those who are optimists will always see a good side to every moment being an opportunity for them to make use of.
615  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to participate in an ICO for a US citizen? on: February 16, 2018, 05:47:09 PM
May be it will hard to find it. But there is one more good way. Usually after an ICO is success the its bounty campaign participants will dump the coin, honestly it is not so good decision because even the development is in very early phase. Then you can buy it after they dump, you even can buy at lower price, this is an advantage for you. Then you only need to wait the developer do things in their roadmap and wait the price of their coin rise.
This usually do not happen much for strong coins, but at the end of it all, this can actually be a very good option to get the coin at a cheap price even if it is not as cheap as the value you could have gotten it from the ICO.

Some investors may just want to take their profit immediately, and for someone who really believe in the growth of the coin or token, that would be an awesome time to pick it up from there. The only issue you may have is getting the coin listed in a top exchange as they usually have some form of rally, so you may want to consider buying bit by bit.
616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: the most profitable coin if invested? on: February 16, 2018, 05:05:48 PM
Maybe it is always depend in your dicision and research of what coin you invested that you think you get more profit from it, in my self my first is bitcoin it is good for investment because everyday or week the price of bitcoin is always moving in the market.
It all balls down on research, intuition and how the person perceives the project. Most projects are worrisome, but there are some you will see, do some research on and just know instantly that you are in a really good project if you bet on them. So far, I am still looking forward to some of my investments doing pretty good and I believe that in the long run, they will give me the best profit ever, but itall takes some research and lookout on the team to have such believe.
617  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why did I lose on trade ?? on: February 16, 2018, 03:26:07 PM
Hello I don’t understand I bought for 4000 Eur one hour ago of Ethereum when it was going up, it stayed around the 10-20%, it started to decrease 5 minutes ago so I sold it and now cex.io just gave me 3500eur for it... wtf... Huh
The %came from me watching livecoinwatch.. Cex.io doesn’t have the accurate price ??

I think the reason why you lose your money in trading because your strategies are not enough. You should improve your trading strategies by reading many post in this forum. This bitcoin forum can help you to become successful trader.
Not having enough strategies is one thing; not having a strategy at all is another thing. Truth be told, OP was just busy gambling because he obviously does not have any strategy, judging from the way he stated it. Also, he should use an exchange and stick with their prices there rather than looking somewhere else because with that, he will always get burned.

Moreover, why will he be making trades on CEX? I do not understand? Also, if he does not have knowledge, why is he trying to trade? He is welcome to the world of newbies who think they can just keep doing things like this without having adequate knowledge rather than just leaving their funds in their wallet and watch it grow.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: February 16, 2018, 02:51:00 PM
I agree that crypto is better but I know that fiat is still useful even I love crypto more. These innovation should not make us very selfish and think that our brothers and sisters from other parts of this world are not fit to use crypto.
Fiat is still only useful for now, because we really do not have much adoption yet. What we have is so little when compared to a huge global adoption.

Ceratinly we cannot even have it 100% but on a large scale when bitcoin becomes usable like a currency and not just as a speculative asset, we should expect more and that is when we will see how big it can get. If the 99% of the people still think fiat is better, count yourself lucky for being part of the 1%.
619  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the worst thing did you did in crypto world? on: February 16, 2018, 02:03:36 PM
I buy my bitcoin with highest price and sell to lower price I did not expect that I really money that time because of my expences I'm thingking twice that I sell it or not in that time I was panic because on that situation, so I decided that to sell it but not all and I was repent and now bitcoin price are rising, thats the worst thing that happen to me.
Okay, that is the worst thing anyone would ever do. And even despite all the crazy things I could have imagined doing; this is something I can never see myself doing. Most people out of panic have made this mistake before but they always end up learning their lessons anyway. As long as you know the essence of what you are holding and you understand the level of its volatility, you can never fall into this trap.

I think a very common regret by people is to have wasted their coins, I did not gamble my coins but I bought several different pieces of software with my bitcoin and for the most part I have not use them and I could have easily bought the same software with fiat, if I did I would have some more bitcoin in my wallet and that will make a huge difference in my life.
Some even bought bikes with their coins and then ended up finding out later they could have gotten a lambo with it when indeed the bike is already turning to crap. A lot of silly mistakes we have all made anyway and sometime, we really do not always have choice as some are just some necessities and we have to live with our decisions anyway, what is important mostly is the future.
620  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin change the distribution of wealth in the world? on: February 16, 2018, 08:14:22 AM
Does anyone have information whether bitcoin would distribute wealth more equally across people than the current wealth distribution?

Or would the distribution be even more unfair?

Yes, I think so as well. In the wealth of the world, the only count lies on cash which is the Fiat system. Now, when online currency or as we know the cryptocurrencies become part of the count, there would definitely be a big change. We'll be surprised on how poor countries could become stable by then.
How many people even in these poor countries are even parts of this now ? The world system has been in such a way that only some set of people will always have the luck to get rich and not everyone will have the chance. The rich ones will still have more advantage.

Let's see it this way, a rich man who has been waiting for the value of bitcoin to drop and understands that this is the future, ended up stashing a lot at around $6000, tell me how the poor even want to have the chance to even buy just a bitcoin. That should give you the picture.
