I just SSH'd into my RPi and this was in the console after sudo screen:

"API running in IP access mode on port 4028 (19)"

- the timestamp says this was like 6.5 hours ago.

cgminer is working, no interruptions according to my pool stats.

Does anyone know what that means?

(ah and btw, i'm still on minepeon 0.2.2 without any upgrades; uptime 12:45:35 up 30 days, 11:45)

It's in the first post of this thread. Obviously something people don't read.

look up "TBD" on google.

we will have to wait and see what the price will be.
614  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 2GH NinjaStick USB Miner powered by Bitfury on: September 08, 2013, 02:19:13 PM
These were selling for less than 1BTC, 2BTC for a Bitfury thumb is a ripoff.

Bitfury chips were selling for $20ea in reels of 3,000, so if you charge 2BTC what's the other $180+ for?

who said anything about a price (of 2 BTC or whatever) yet ?!
615  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: September 08, 2013, 02:00:14 PM
Hmmm it is fairly hot but it's nothing extreme. This room has fairly good airflow as well.
Is their a history of them going bad on people?

if you pull more than 3A on the long term, I would bet on that Wink

the hub and PSU are pretty high quality, but 4 miners + pi + wifi dongle + fan should be pulling more than that. I would get a small phone charger (samsung works well) and use that to power the Pi with the wifi dongle directly connected to one port of it, and the hub with the sticks and the fan to the other USB port

Alright so here is my rig.
It is running with 4 erupters and the 3 on the left just arrived today and are the new version.
Has a wifi dongle.
Hub is velcro'd onto the RPi
Wires are zip tied as best I could.
Running minepeon as the OS.

Overall it's pretty portable and the only wire I actually have to plug into something is the power for the hub which powers the wifi dongle, the pi itself, the fan, and the 4 erupters.

The PSU of the hub will die soon. Just touch it and you will know what I mean

619  Local / Off-Topic (Deutsch) / Re: 13x USB Asicminer Block Eruptor (Promo Order, Menigs GB) on: September 07, 2013, 10:00:21 AM

620  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Asic USB Miner - totaler Irrsinn? on: September 06, 2013, 08:37:27 PM
