some of us live in the free world - SEC doesn't rule the world guys.

Keep dreaming.  Those who control the SEC also rule the world.

Just ask the Swiss what happened to their 500 year old tradition of respecting financial privacy.

And then ask Iran why they can't export oil in exchange for anything but gold.

Insider buying is normal.

Deleting a post is suspicious.

Why all the secrecy about how the Avalon refund was wasted?

NDATM?   Cheesy

We have not used any of the Avalon refund.

Thanks Ken.

May I ask, how comes you have so few shares in the company? Don't most founders own a decent % of the company?

I have 15,000,000 shares also, which are restricted shares, and do not receive dividends until the shareholders receive .0025 BTC in
dividends.

Appreciate the stated P&L commitment, Ken.

Can you confirm the status of the Avalon situation, please?

Yes, we have received the refund from Avalon.

ACTM at .0029 ...fuck

begin rant:

I have held my tongue long enough. I am fed up with Ken's inept sense of decent communication (beyond a few grunts here and there) and his awful sense of design and marketing. That logo is third rate at best. If that bloody awful site is doing so goddamn well; WHERE ARE THE FUCKING NUMBERS?! As funders (I won't call us shareholders anymore for obvious reasons) of this little experimental venture we have a right to know.

At this point, my FUD is that ACTM will not gain momentum again because of competition and difficulty AND the fact that for whatever reason, Ken refuses to do trade magazine type PR to get the word out AND and to tell us current state of progress. I am frustrated that Actm and vmc are never even mentioned in the news the way other companies are. At this point Ken may have funded and built his company for free off our backs. It doesn't seem to matter to Ken if the stock evaporates. He doesn't own any. So frustrated right now. All Ken (or someone in the know) has to do is tell us and the world what progress he is making. But day after day it's silence and the confidence drizzles away to nothing as he seems too socially inept to know how to communicate.

Unless no news really is bad news.

end rant.

+ 10
We will be releasing P&L for this quarter by the end of October.
609  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 12, 2013, 07:00:39 PM
Is the reason Ken feels no obligation to produce any numbers, is because of the wording of part of the contract.....

"The global ActiveMining's income, including mining income, hardware sales via bitcoins, other cryptocoins and fiat transferred to bitcoins, will be paid to ActiveMining shareholders proportionally, after all manufacturing, maintenance, labor costs, R&D, growth and miscellaneous expenses are deducted."

Can the board/Ken confirm or deny, that any hardware sales paid in fiat, is NOT going to be paid as dividends?

Are you joking? So Ken has a loophole that allows him to pocket profits via a word in the document?

Ken this is so low, now you sound like a lawyer.

I have the feeling this asset is over.

All income from sales of hardware and anything else that VMC gets income on will be included in the profit calculation.

Here's my attempt at a logo:

Sticking with the "three boxes on top of eachother" theme.  It's a 3D model so you can pose it/light it however you want.   (It's still in the process of being rendered so it's pretty grainy at the moment)

I really like this.  This would be good on some videos as our opening logo.
611  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 11, 2013, 10:14:51 PM
Ken was man enough to listen to complaints and restructure his company and give share holders a much bigger slice of the assets and divs. Everyone has an ego but I don't think Kens is any different to the rest of us.

Cool!  Then a logo change and removing hideous artwork from the front page of the website should be a no brainer. Yes?

Hideous artwork is gone, don't have a different logo for the site.  There you go.

Good man Ken.  Here's an idea.

I don't have a license to use that one.  Last time I put it up, lewicki got all pissed off, after he told me that he would sign it over to ActM.

Is there a case to argue that if an improved website was to be made to work then it would generate more than 8x advertising spend?

Yes, but you do not know that it will do that.  Also, there are a lot of back office functions that we use that are not in the lewicki site.
614  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: September 11, 2013, 07:41:31 PM
Yes, lewicki web site looks good; however, it is an unproven site.  Our current site is making 8X times what we are spending on advertising.  Also, there have already been some licensing problems with the site that lewicki developed.

I think a class action law suite would be the way to go.

Anyone here want to join, I have already discussed this with a lawyer.

Since there has been a lot discussion in the last couple of days, I would
like to reassure everyone that work is progressing well with our partners.
Unfortunately we are still unable to comment on this further.

This is as frustrating for us as it is for all of you.

We are allowed to confirm that the BTC were converted some time ago and the
board designs are in progress. We are also restructuring our product
offerings and fixing issues on the website. We appreciate these have been
live updates which are not ideal, but this is due to a technical issue this
week that is yet to be resolved.

If ActiveMining doesn't tape out until late September, they won't have their chips till when, January?

theyre taping out right away.  Joint news release with easic and activemining expected by monday.  My advice: invest in labcoin and activemining.  They will both be big players.

I don't even know when we will do a join press release, so it can not be expected Monday.

You should tell your nephew Gerald not to give false information on the phone then.

You should not be calling trying to get inside information.
