Great news, glad the true consensus support is behind core. No reason to have all these BIP's that adress other things besides the pressing matters. It feels like politics, where they pass a bill fo something everyone is behind but include many other little things in the bill.

It releases the same endorphins in the brain as drugs or alcohol for some.
606  Economy / Gambling / Re: do you play crypto AND fiat poker? single/separate bankrolls? on: January 21, 2016, 11:19:21 AM
Yes, in both. Because in bitcoin poker rooms there isnt enough traffic for serious players.

As of the huge competition you can still get 70%-90% rakeback in fiat in smaller than Stars networks. But even in those smaller networks traffic is 10-100x than bitcoin rooms.

In bitcoin world, bitspoker have some traffic, betcoin.tm are trying to induce players with some big promos lately. Nitrogen also gave players but without decent rakeback and 4% rake on cash it better option to skip them.

Betcoin.ag offers 13%+ rakeback, and table starter bonus upwards of 120% rakeback.

So what's been going on? Price of btc is on the rise again... And our price dropped again after being up for a week or so. Yet no one is saying anything.

Not sure, prob an investor trying to make a few bucks with the recent BTC pump.
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bullish Media Center (The 1 stop Bullish BTC news source) on: January 20, 2016, 11:54:02 PM

This is so true, tracking back payments is a time consuming practice but not difficult to do.

XST block explorer at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xst/ will expire at the end of January. Monthly service fee is $9.90 (0.026 BTC at current rate).

Hondo sent in 0.026 BTC for another month. I have just put in another 0.026 BTC. Sascha will send another 0.026 BTC soon.

We are hoping that 9 more people could pitch in $9.99 each to cover the next year.

The address to fund the block explorer is: 1MTV4kSJWvEpbLwvLu9VvwpbhZN2XAn8PM

Thanx in advance!

Sending .026 for 1 month!

As Much as I love to gloat about being right Wink I feel bad for the people stuck in the system who grew/grow up thinking that the stock market is a sure bet going forward. I think the bubble is about to pop and the greatest transfer of wealth about to begin. We are out in front of it prepared Smiley

Try to build up an affiliate program and save that BTC for when it goes to the moon. Bitcoin casinos are bringing in a ton of money and when the masses come they will pour even more into online casinos. Already have 54 people in mine, most don't play but hell it pays alright for a little work.

See signature, I had it made to help me promote my own thing... Until Betcoin decided to run a campaign a few months later.

612  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best wallet provider for BitCoin gambling app/website on: January 20, 2016, 01:38:32 PM
Pretty sure you will get the same answere from coinbase since they black list you for transferring Bitcoin to known gambling sites.

So what would you suggest? I see you have some betting site in the signature, is it your site? if yes, which wallet provider you are using for that site?

Any thoughts on using blockchain.info?

Most sites run their own clients in a secure manner. Cold storage is your best bet with a hot wallet for withdrawing funds.

This signature is paid by a campaign, although I did make it and put links to my own affiliate page to build a residual income. My signature started the Betcoin campaign but we could not come to an agreement on how much for my services. That is why it is the only one of its kind.

I have no opinion on blockchain.info since I do not use them. Heard good and bad, most of the bad was years ago though.

Hi,

I'm new on the forum, and I've tried searching it, but I'm not sure that I found the best answer.

I read positive and negative thoughts on this forum for using CoinBase as a wallet provider for gambling app/website.

I'm also considering blockchain.info at the moment.

Bitstamp said "no" to me without explanation.

What are your thoughts, which provider would be the best to use as my wallet provider for the application that I'm building.

Thanks for help!

614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel pity for bitcoin on: January 20, 2016, 09:01:27 AM
I hear your concerns, but have a firm belief that the issue will be resolved by halving, or atleast a clear picture of what will be coming. I don't think a 5-7 billion $ market will allow for anything else.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: more lives than a cat! on: January 20, 2016, 08:57:29 AM
It's funny how many times it has been declared dead... Seems the media/banks don't want US to be in control of our money. Just a feeble attempt to keep the masses out IMO.

Betcoin has them listed, link in my sig.

Does the prize box reset every 24hrs you claim it or is it a universal time that it resets to be claimed?

It used to be a daily gift but now I see it every 1-3 days.  I believe there was an announcement about this some time ago.

I get it everyday but sometimes I log in and it says "claimed 1 day 3hrs ago". Figuring it's a reset everyday at a certain time.

10,36M Bitcoin moved on Sunday, 2nd highest value in the last 2 years

News URL : https://kaiko.com/statistics/outputs-volume?range=2y

A lot of speculation on this in he threads over the last few days. It will be interesting to find out who is moving so much around.

Well, from my side, I see it normal, specially when you look at the blocks and how they are nearly full.

Not Bullish but it's news:

BITSTAMP BANS RUSSIAN IP ADDRESSES.

http://qntra.net/2016/01/bitstamp-bans-russia/

I didn't read into the details but I dunno why Bitstamp made this move ?

http://www.coindesk.com/russian-investigator-support-bitcoin-ban/

bitstamp wants to avoid getting shat on by the gov?

What Bitstamp has to do with the Russian Gov. ?

Same thing I was wondering...

If it was Btc-e I would say ok it's understoodable, but Bitstamp, I can't understand it tbh.

Not a long read but from what I gather it's so that bitstamp doesn't get fined if the legislation is passed.

Who will fine Bitstamp, the Russian gov. ? If so, why the other exchangers didn't made this move as well ? And is it legal for the Russian gov. to take some legal actions against Bitstamp ?

Lets say what you said is right my brother, this move have to be postponed a little when there is something "official", not only "press talks"

I'm sure we will see more exchanges follow suit. Not sure why an exchange would comply if they are NOT located in Russia, maybe to protect their customers from fines and jail time.

Looks like the legislation is already in front of their parliament in preparation to be voted on. They have a smear campaign against Bitcoin at the moment saying it has helped fund terrorists in Russia along with the normal drug/weapons trafficking and laundering of money.

They are afraid it will displace their currency! And it will eventually Smiley
