601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoin can buy now? on: May 01, 2019, 10:21:33 PM
Considering the current trading trends in the crypto market, investing or buying tokens or coins through ICO or IEO is not as profitable as already trading altcoins like Ethereum. Ethereum is currently one of the best altcoins to invest or to use for your daily trading activities. The profit margin of ethereum is between 20% to 40% of your initial investment capital within 48 hours.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does crypto keep screwing me over?? on: April 30, 2019, 11:35:31 PM
Its soooo unfair..  Sad like i will hold USDT for weeks at a time, and all the coins will pump!
but the day i decide to finally invest in a altcoin, it instantly turns into a blood bath!
EVERY FRIGGIN TIME

and i buy at the BOTTOM of the BOTTOM... whyyy does this always happen to me.. its totally not fair  Embarrassed

anyways.. what do you guys think about Wabi and KMD.. do you like these coins?

thnxx

The problem to your misfortune is simply, you don't have enough knowledge and understanding about specific factors that affect the market value of most cryptocurrencies. Also, you lack the basic skill every crypto investor has. To add to this, I realized that you are just buying or investing in the altcoin without having an investment plan or strategy needed for their investment activities. Earning for your investment is all about how well you know the nature of the coin or tokens and having investment plans and strategies.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: April 30, 2019, 11:25:33 PM
In order not to be a victim of the crypto crimes happening in the crypto ecosystem, never keep or save your crypto coins or tokens on any exchange platforms, withdraw everything into your personal crypto wallet. Also, people should avoid joining or visiting sites that seems to promote some kinda free money in the form of crypto airdrops. The crypto space currently is made up people are just concern about cheating others and robbing off their little money. To add to this, keep your wallets protected and do not share your private keys with anybody..
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more time to waste on: April 30, 2019, 11:15:55 PM
If I can't find a bounty project that's already listed and trading I'm done joining bounties.
No matter how reasonable a project might be if the teams decided to stay anonymous I will pass by
Whitepapers and roadmaps aren't enough anymore, developers should be ready to face the public and be ready to show me they are ready to work ,not experimental on 'it might became success or failure .

What is the guarantee or the assurance that Bounty campaigns with their coin or token already listed  are successful projects. The coin or tokens might be listed  but may have a market volume and market cap for 24hrs to be less than $5 or $10.  The best way to determine how successful of a bounty project will be is by checking if the project has a specific purpose for the crypto ecosystem and how feasible it is in terms of the project's roadmap and strategies identified in the whitepaper. Why waste your time on projects with no feasible purpose in bridging the gaps seen in the crypto space just because the token is listed...
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are IEO's bad? on: April 30, 2019, 10:34:22 PM
In my opinion, I don't see anything wrong with IEOs. The principle and ideology behind IEO's operate similar like the escrow system or like the smart contract protocol. The exchange platform acts as the middle man or medium between the crypto project team and investors contributing to help support the project. When the project looks to be a potential scam project, the exchange platform will be able to freeze the funds raised and redistribute them back to the investors who contributed during the IEO.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETH reach $200 after the upgrade on: April 30, 2019, 10:23:26 PM
200$ is a low target for ethereum. And i think ethereum can reach it even without any news or upgrade.

$200 is not actually a low target for etherum considering the current fluctuations in the market value of ethereum. I don't really think this upgrade of Ethereum will have much influence on the current value of it on the crypto market. The upgrade is related to Ethereum blockchain network not the market value or not on the amount of Ethereum in circulation.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin blockchain vs Privacy coins.. on: April 30, 2019, 12:04:28 AM
I recently got to know about the existence of privacy coins and what they mean. I can imagine why anyone will be interested in its usage being that it's offer more anonymity that the bitcoin ledger. But can such implementation be incorporated into the bitcoin blockchain and make it as a choice for those that don't what input and output be publicly viewed on the blockchain?

Majority of these privacy coins have their core blockchain protocol embedded with Bitcoin's blockchain protocol  with additional protocols which improve the anonymity nature of their blockchain network. Looking at this additional protocols by these privacy coins, the bitcoin ledger can also be improved and become more private and anonymous if Satoshi decide to upgrade the entire bitcoin's blockchain network. Bitcoin is the definition of privacy and anonymity.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency market types on: April 29, 2019, 11:52:33 PM
I think that the bull market will come when everyone stops waiting for growth. It will happen in about 1-2 years.

People have this ideology that the next bull run in the crypto ecosystem will be something like that of 2017. But what people need to understand is that the next bull run will not be as massive as in 2017. Considering the currently situation of the crypto market, the initial stage of the Bull run for 2019 has began and only a few investors are taking advantage of this.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: April 29, 2019, 11:21:48 PM
IEOs have all the qualities of ICOs but the only differences that exist between them are that,  IEOs are more transparent than ICOs and investors can actually determine and know the total number of tokens or coins been sold. In terms of profitability, both IEOs and ICOs are profitable depending on the type of project and the outcome of the project after the IEO or ICO. IEOs were introduced to help reduce the rate at which scam projects are been introduced into the crypto space and also to encourage investors into investing in crypto projects and the entire crypto ecosystem.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right time for investment? on: April 29, 2019, 11:07:07 PM
I don't believe in the idea that, there is a right time in the crypto ecosystem to either invest or not to invest. I think every time in the crypto ecosystem is a good time to invest but what really matters is how well you know and understand the principles of investment  in the crypto ecosystem.  In the world of investing, everyday is an opportunity to take advantage of the current situation to invest.  Looking at the crypto market currently, having  good strategies and understanding some key facts that influence the changes in the value of most altcoins will help you know what coin to invest in and what not to invest in.  But in my observations, Ethereum is currently the coin people can easily take advantage of its change in market value and make good returning profits out of their investment.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE REALLY NEED MORE STABLE COINS? on: April 29, 2019, 10:43:08 PM
Some friends of mine always lament  that 'we  need more stable coins in the cryptosphere' and I think that is highly achievable looking at the promising prospects that has been achieved by tether. It seems some upcoming projects are also promising to introduce stable coins. Is it possible to have more stable coins on the crypto market? What would really happen if we get more stable coins on the crypto market, would the volatility reduce?

In my opinion, I think having more stable crypto coins in the crypto market and the crypto space will help people who are new to this ecosystem  to get involved using cryptocurrencies for their daily online transactions.  The volatile nature of most crypto coins makes  it difficult for people new to cryptocurrency to use it due to the fact that, majority of these people have some belief that they can easily lose some percent of the value of the coin they have.  I have this ideology that, if all cryptocurrencies have a stable value, people will see cryptocurrencies as the easiest and fastest payment system in the financial space.
612  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card on: April 25, 2019, 06:28:19 AM
Why will you need a Bitcoin Debit card? Most of the transactions made with Bitcoin can be easily done with your normal Bitcoin wallet easier and faster. For me,  I think it will be a waste of time for developers to create Bitcoin Debit Card. The crypto ecosystem do not need this kind of suggestions and  ideas. This will just introduce a lot of third parties into the Bitcoin space if people start using Debit Card made for Bitcoin transactions.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens? Like I do? on: April 25, 2019, 06:12:54 AM
About 70% of people in the crypto ecosystem both investors and bounty hunters have shitcoins/ useless tokens in their wallets which in 100 years will still remain a useless cryptocurrency. I just wished I can exchange all the ones I have for a dollar or cents  Huh Huh Huh Sad Sad. They are just occupying  space in my wallet and have no specific purpose in the crypto space.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: April 25, 2019, 06:03:22 AM
The only way that the new crypto projects and new cryptocurrencies can compete with the already established crypto coins and platforms is by providing products that focus on resolving gaps seen in the crypto space and the world in general that the existing platforms and projects either failed to solve or hasn't identified. Such projects will have a relevant purpose on the crypto ecosystem which will make investors to invest in that project.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about a Bitcoin government ? on: April 25, 2019, 05:39:33 AM
Bitcoin does not really need an institutional body to act as the control the body to make people understand the purpose and nature of Bitcoin.  Decentralization in the Bitcoin ecosystem means everybody has the freedom to transact directly with anyone without restrictions. Having a Bitcoin government is basically centralization of the Bitcoin ecosystem, which goes against the true nature of Bitcoin and decentralization.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You Can Now Shop With Bitcoin on Amazon Using Lightning on: April 25, 2019, 05:17:10 AM
the title of the article is very misleading because you still can not "shop on Amazon with bitcoin" since they do not accept bitcoin and what you are doing is that you are going through a third party which is never desirable specially when we are talking about decentralized bitcoin which was supposed to cut all the middle men.

From the look of how this third party operates, I will agree with you on this. Giving a third party an opportunity to connect to your browser and wallet is not a great idea. You are just making your wallet vulnerable to be hacked.

Quote
besides Amazon should be a thing of past for us, in our world we should stick to decentralized market places such as Open Bazaar and make them grow and replace Amazon.

I realized that decentralized online market platforms do not really promote their platforms and that is the reason for the low patronage.
617  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Are Most Reliable Ways To Sell Bitcoin? on: April 25, 2019, 03:22:01 AM
You can trade your Bitcoin for fiat money on this forum using escrow but since you don't want to pay for extra charges and fees, you can try exchange  platforms like coinbase if only they are available to use  in your country. Its the safest way to exchange your Bitcoin for fiats with less fee charges.  But I'm kinda surprised that your friends had bad experiences making transactions on localbitcoin.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I know who Satoshi Nakamoto is on: April 24, 2019, 11:54:33 PM
Anybody who believe and support the general idea of blockchain technology and Bitcoin is Satoshi Nakamoto. Satoshi Nakamoto is not just a name but the general principles and believes Bitcoin and Blockchain technology provide to the world and the crypto space. Once you are into the Bitcoin ecosystem and you believe Bitcoin is the true currency the world needs, then you are Satoshi Nakamoto to the world.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: April 24, 2019, 11:41:09 PM
I think that the author of that article should speak with the Chinese Government since they are now banning bitcoin. We all know that once the Chinese Government moves it's for real. Too bad for Chinese people who use bitcoin and other cryptos, lucky for us since our government thinks the same as the author of this article.

Please provide a source to your claims regarding Chinese Government banning Bitcoin. Speculations with no evidence are just false accusations which are not needed in the crypto ecosystem.  I have seen this speculation but no one has provided any evidence to back this claim.
There is not way the government can stop people from using Bitcoin even if they ban it usage in the country.  You can be in any country and still trade your Bitcoin for fiat money easily.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much wold take a bitcoin transaction with 1sat/byte to get confirmed? on: April 24, 2019, 11:31:47 PM
Considering the time it took my transaction with 106.5sat/byte to be confirmed, it will take a very long time for your 1sat/byte transaction to be confirmed by the blockchain network. I think this calculation will help you estimate the time for your transaction to be confirmed.

106.5sat/byte = 40 minutes
1 sat/byte = ?
 (106.5 sat/byte * 40 minutes)/ 1sat/byte

106.5 * 40 minutes = 4260 minutes

(4260 minutes)/ (60 minutes) * 1 hour = 71 hours

Its gonna take 71 hours for your transactions to be confirmed  Grin Grin Grin Lips sealed Lips sealed Tongue Tongue
