Never heard of a Bitcoin pool called Flypool.

The Chinese Govt shut down ICOs and the morons at BitKan/Bitmain decided that affected Bitcoin also ... but ICOs have nothing to do with Bitcoin at all

I guess I'm out of the loop.  What's and "ICO".

an ICO is :

 Initial Coin Offering

Thanks Phil and Carl.

Hi. I am new in mining , and just started  with ASIC using CGMINER. I created "start.bat" on DESKTOP with 1 URL for solo mining   and load , it is working good. Then i add to 3 or more URL for multipool mining .That is work good too.Only there is problem : each time after restarting OS (WINDOWS7) there is no saving in CGMINER about multipool mining , and needed to write URL again???   Ths.

You can add the pools and logins to your .bat file.

See the Executive summary in the readme or the top post.

606  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE 238 blocks solved! on: September 12, 2017, 11:16:08 PM
Hi guys, im new to the forum and i have 2 x antminer s9`s arriving tomorrow.
ive never mined before but i have read up a fair bit and im fairly confident i
can set them up myself.
One question i have is whats the best address to connect to with my machines?
thanks

Well I could send you my Bitcoin address if you like.  But you should probably use yours.  So I would assume you have downloaded and installed the Bitcoin client and downloaded the blockchain.  So you should have a Bitcoin address.  You definitely want to have your own wallet and receiving addresses before you start mining.

Also two S9's won't find a solo block very often, so be aware of that.
607  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Basic Mining Questions (New Miner Here) on: September 12, 2017, 10:38:26 PM
I realize GPU/CPU mining is dying and ASIC is the way to go.

CPU Mining died 6 years ago and GPU mining died 4 to 5 years ago.  Most ASIC's are obsolete now.

Also this is the Bitcoin forum so you may want to post in the altcoin section.

Also Nicehash has a support thread.

I have connected my GPU miner to solo ck pool, but i cannot see my stats when i navigate to the address. It says 404 not found.
http://solo.ckpool.org/users/1AHrgz7AYHwtScn7VVQBDfuRyzBb9kDazp

But in my cg miner i see the connection is successful and Im already mining with a small hash power 30 Mh/s. Any reason for this guys?
Please don't do that. You are only wasting power and shortening the life of your GPU trying to mine bitcoin. You don't see any stats because your hashrate is so low that you're not even registering on the pool since you haven't even submitted a single share. If you want to do fun very low hashrate "lottery" solo mining, find yourself a cheap usb stick and use that instead.

Why do 333Mhs at 2.5 Watt's when you can use 300 Watt's for 30 Mhs.  Where's the fun in that? Smiley
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What's your mining setup? on: September 12, 2017, 01:04:29 AM
I'm thinking about getting into hobby mining and I'm wondering what type of setups you guys have.

Well, there are only two manufacturers of Bitcoin miners, Bitmain and Avalon.  Not allot to choose from.

Cgminer may give good profit, only with well known videocards,as radeon R9 sapphire and other

CGMiner does NOT support Video Cards as it is a Bitcoin mining software and GPU's are useless for Bitcoin mining.

613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: best softwate for bitcoin mining? on: September 09, 2017, 07:46:59 PM

hi everyone,

i am looking some software that can help me mine bitcoin.i would appreciate if anyone help me  to find some software.

regards
Zrs

Miner software will allow you to monitor than statistics will be able to calculate easily with the software. I will suggest you to try bitminter or nice hash are preferable option to start your mining career.
I have tried bitminter PC mining and used for 2 days I did not get any money from that site but when I tried to start again in nice hash mining site it will give the profit accordind to the specification you used.

Mining software and mining web sites are two different things.

The software required for mining are integrated into current Bitcoin mining hardware, the software is usually referred to as firmware.  Once one has purchased a Bitcoin miner then they will need to select a pool to mine on.

615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: best softwate for bitcoin mining? on: September 08, 2017, 10:43:23 PM
You don't need software to mine Bitcoin.  You need Bitcoin mining hardware to mine Bitcoin.  The software is integrated into current miners.

For all intents and purposes there are only two.  Avalon and Bitmain.

Since your not going to be mining Bitcoin with CPU's nor GPU's, your only real option is to post this message in the altcoin section.
