bat files username and password

Hello i am new to mining, i have been using my cpu and gpu but plan of buying a few asics so have been trying to make bat filrs with different mining sofware but i just don't understand what it wants on regard to a user name and password ? if i am using stratum+tcp://scrypt.eu.nicehash.com:3333 do i use my nicehash username and password ?  i would very much appreciate some help as i would really like to understand this better and enjoy a new hobby. thanks
