The just concluded season of the premier league was an interesting one though it didn't end as I hoped but it was an amazing experience filled with mind blowing games and drama. I believe the coming season to be more interesting and competitive especially now that all top teams are recruiting and strengthening their sides for the coming season.

Newcastle is currently very ideal in showing their performance, plus the financial support is quite large they can do anything if they want to buy quality players. Because the owner really fully supports what the coach wants, it's no wonder that this season, Newcastle have finished in an extraordinary position. Next season, for sure, Newcastle has prepared a far more mature plan than this season, especially when they qualify for the Champions League, it requires more support. Their long-time dream has now been achieved by getting a UCL ticket, which has boosted their confidence. The management of the Newcastle club is not in doubt.

I believe Newcastle United will pose a serious problem to the usual top five teams next season. Newcastle United are a very ambitious side under the new administration and if they could perform beyond expectation last season with the few top players available I wonder what they would do when they add a number of new names to improve the squad for the coming season.

Arsenal are reported to be interested in Kai Havertz who has two years left on his contract at Chelsea [1]. Recently Real Madrid also were reported to be interested in Havertz but seems to have backed off after Chelsea tag on Havertz of 75-80m Euro around. 75m Euro was also reported to Arsenal and Arsenal also seems to uninterested in paying that much. But from Chelsea point of view, it is understandable given the price they paid to get Havertz from Leverkusen.

I am not so satisfied with this news especially for the huge amount Chelsea are asking for his signature. Kai Havertz is a good player but his Premier league spell has not surpassed an average performance in the last two seasons, I doubt he is worth £75-80m which I also doubt we will be willing to pay. 50m is a considerable price for Kai Havertz in my opinion.

This season is still far from kicking off and much expectations are growing in the minds of football lovers, every fan with expectations of who, how, when their clubs will be bringing in recruitments in the summer to boost their team's performance next season, Manchester City are no exception to this list of clubs working to improve their team. There will be more competition this coming season to see which club will be able to end the reign of Manchester City.

There was a speculation about Kim Min-Jae future that reported he and Manchester United has been reach to personal agreement and reported Kim Min-Jae was agree with Manchester United proporsal that they are willing to pay 9 millions per year for his salary and Manchester United also don't mind to pay according to Kim Min-Jae release clause for transfer fee

Few weeks ago Napoli owner has been ensure Osimhen and Kim Min-Jae will not going to anywhere and he will give high priority to Kim Min-Jae because he doesn't want to lost any important players and if this rumour is true i think Napoli will suffering big loss because Kim Min-Jae has been performing well with Napoli and he has help this team to gets Scudetto and for Manchester United with the arrival of Kim Min-Jae i am sure they can solved defensive lines issue
Manchester United have been linked with Kim Min-Jae even before the league ended. They seem to be seriously interested in bringing the solid centre back to Old trafford next season in a bid to replace Harry Maguire and create good competition in that position. It seems Napoli will be open to selling him this summer and if that be the case Manchester United will finally get their preferred player in centre back.

I must admit that my expectations for Newcastle United in the premier league and champions league next season are high. I am expecting to see a better and formidable Newcastle team next season because to remain above 5th position in the premier league you have to be outstanding to achieve that. Now that United have new owners too I am curious to see how they will began to spend big now.

Many clubs are lining up for the services of Harry Kane, at the moment not particularly club has taken the front role in the race for his signature but as rumours have it, Manchester United are seriously interested in bringing him to Old Trafford next season as Loan striker Weghorst will not be retained for the coming season. The way I see things the race for Harry Kane's signature will end in a bidding war if Tottenham are willing to sell.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 13, 2023, 05:54:07 PM
Harry Kane name always sticks out before the transfer market re-opens, so far Tottenham have always been able to convince Kane to stay but the situation is a little different because his contract with Tottenham will expire in the summer of 2024. At the age of 29, Kane needs to look for challenges with other clubs that can guarantee him lifting a trophy. Kane needs to win a few trophies in the top flight before moving to leagues outside of Europe like Benzema, Messi, Ramos and Ronaldo.

Manchester United reportedly really want Kane, before the transfer market opened Manchester United again showed interest in bringing in Kane. They have not given up on the hunt for Kane even though their efforts over the past two seasons have always ended in failure. Kane is considered to be a solution for Manchester United's front line in increasing the productivity of their goals, this time Manchester United are not alone in hunting for Kane, clubs outside the Premier League such as Real Madrid and PSG are also very interested in bringing Kane.
Harry Kane is one of the best options any club will get to lead their attack in the premier league because for many years he has impressed and remained relevant in the league as one of the best. If Manchester United are able to get his signature this summer it will certainly be a huge upgrade from their end as he guarantees at least 20 goal margin every years definitely a huge upgrade to Rashford and Martial.

The latest transfer rumors report that Spurs are interested in bringing in David Raya from Brentford and it looks like this is one of the players the new Spurs coach will target to navigate the EPL competition this season. But not only that because Spurs really need a replacement goalkeeper Hugo Lloris who is rumored to be leaving Spurs at the end of the season as a free agent. Anyway I think now is the time for Spurs to look for a successor to Hugo Lloris because he is too old for the most competitive competition and this action by Spurs is a good thing to start building their new squad right away.
Many news coming from Spurs angle, it seems Pochettino is about to pull off some interesting deals this summer in the course of improving his squad for the coming season. Hugo Lloris has not been at his best in recent seasons and surely not the level they wish to be performing next season. This is a good opportunity to get a good replacement for Hugo Lloris this summer.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 12, 2023, 06:46:21 PM
Naby Keita is on his way to Werder Bremen on a free transfer. I'm afraid Keita couldn't show the expected performance for Liverpool most of the time. He has never been a regular in the starting eleven also. I don't remember him playing like in nearly all games in a season. I think this is the right choice for Liverpool and it seems like they are doing some cleaning in the midfield also.

I mean together with Keita there are 3 more midfielders who are about to leave the team this summer. Oxlade and Milner are going to be released and Arthur's loan time is also ending at the end of the month. They are making the moves to strengthen the midfield on one hand. Alexis Mac Allister is joining the team by July 1. This is really important for Liverpool because I think that the midfield has been the weakest point of the lineup so far.
All three players have lost their place in Jurgen Klopp's starting eleven. It's been a really tough and rough season for Liverpool, I barely exercise them to qualify for any European competition next season but somehow they managed to get back their momentum and pull back vital points to move up to top 6. With these players leaving, Klopp will have to replace them with young and better players who will improve the squad for the coming season. Mac Allister already joined in the week, I believe we will be seeing more additions to the Liverpool side.

Arsenal seems to have big plans for Xavi Simons. I think PSG won't let all this happen that easily, basically they have the option to buy Simons back from PSG, or whatever it's called I don't know but there's a clause for that that allows PSV to get rid of him without being able to get money for it from the club he is going to. Simons is the best player in the premier league, who has to go to a big club abroad. Would we also see new strikers at Real Madrid to accommodate Benzema's departure?
It is not yet certain if PSG will be willing to let the young player leave to join Arsenal this summer but Arsenal seem to be really interested in the young player who was on loan at PSV. Benzema's departure will surely leave a vacancy in the squad that needs to be occupied before the new season kicks off and Real Madrid are working to get a good replacement as soon as possible.

Conte couldn't give anything special to the fans, now the fans have lost patience, and can't wait any longer. Conte is having a hard time finding a solution to please the Spurs fans. Tottenham has good young players, and during his coaching period with Tottenham, he always said that he needed time to be able to form a team according to the expectations of the fans. The question is "Why did Conte not bring in players who were ready and of high quality compared to bringing in regular players and developing them", it would be a waste of time. Tottenham are far from competitive enough to be fighting for the title, and patience has always been an excuse for Conte. With his departure maybe it could be the right solution for Spurs because after all, he couldn't give a promising performance for the team. I hope that Postecoglou's arrival will be able to fulfill all the expectations of the fans in the next season.
It was really frustrating for Spurs fans seeing how the team struggled to win games and maintain consistency but I won't entirely blame Conte for the poor games, on different occasions he made mention of players not giving their best and lacking winning mentality, also I think the board have not been all round supportive even at the era of Conte so it was difficult trying to turn things around.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 11, 2023, 11:00:27 PM

I was very much disappointed with Lukaku... I think his career is over... He was terrible at Chelsea, he didn't perform well at the last World Cup either... In yesterday's very important match, he missed several chances... I am sure if Dzeko had had the strength to play the match to the end, he would not have missed an opportunity to score... It's a shame that Inter started to create such good moments only after conceding a goal...
Lukaku was not at his best form against Manchester City last night, coming in to replace Eden Dzeko I expected him to make much impact but he managed just two or less shots on goal and also block an attempt headed down towards goal. Inter Milan played really well, I feel if Lukaku had made an impact they would gave gotten a goal at least.

Harry Kane is playing for Tottenham for years and he is a famous player there, he is loyal to his team but because of the bad results he got in Tottenham, he is better to leave and find a team where he can achieve his goals.
Tottenham Hotspur's main issue is winning trophies; they will be at their best and still fail to win a single prize. Even the club's past managers, Anthonio Conte and Jose Mourinho, failed, so I can't think of any coach that is capable of saving the club because it's apparent that the problem stems from the boards and the players. I don't see any compelling reason why Tottenham Hotspur should have one of the best strikers in the English Premier League and still struggle to win a trophy. Harry Kane is the club's all-time leading scorer, and while he has not made his personal objectives public, I believe it is high time he tries a new chapter somewhere else.

The lack of trophies for Spurs feels like a curse that has lasted many years with different managers leading to them getting sacked as a result of poor performances and poor results including some of the best coaches in the game. They can only hope it becomes different with the new manager taking over from Antonio Conte but this season will be a tough one.

According to a news source Newcastle are interested in a loan deal for Harry Maguire. But the source looks like The Sun so I don't think this rumour would be reliable at all.  Grin  Actually there was a more serious rumour linking Tottenham with Maguire on Transfermarkt website a few days ago. But the probability of a transfer is decreasing day by day.

Honestly it would be really great for Manchester United if they get rid of him as soon as possible. On loan or permanent deal they wouldn't have to pay his salary or most of it at least. Because he is really no use for Manchester United. He will stay as a rotation player and he won't be a credible player when ten Hag has no choice other than putting him in the lineup.
I think this will be good for Manchester United to finally sell him this summer to cash in and also good for Newcastle because even if every other club have given up on Harry Maguire I want to give him the benefit of doubt that he can do better and improve. I believe the atmosphere and environment around Newcastle holds positivity and could help boost his self esteem and development.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 09, 2023, 03:07:08 PM
I think Thomas Tuchel was sacked because at some point he wasn't getting wind for the Chelsea team which his boss wasn't comfortable with and having in mind of replacing him with a better coach everything became worse for the Chelsea team. I believe Tochel wasn't sacked because of emotion rather he was sacked because much was expected of him which he couldn't deliver and after all, none of the coaches brought back the lost glory to the Chelsea team
Tuchel had bad relationship with Chelsea director and owner during the last summer. He disagreed with transfers in the club and it continued after the season start. Some bad results during such bad time are enough for Chelsea owner to take advantage of it to sack Tuchel. It could be a decision which comes from individual conflict rather than for the club benefit. After Tuchel, Chelsea made two bad choices with Potter and Lampard and they consequently had very bad results even spending hundreds of $M in this season.

Chelsea I would say were struck by karma after the unfair treatments to Thomas Tuchel early into the season, I still believe he wasn't given a fair chance to control the situation and try to make things right. They were lucky enough to escape been relegated at a crucial period and finish in 12th position. I hope Pochettino gets it right this time with Chelsea.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 08, 2023, 09:59:49 PM
Yeah, i just feel so disappointed with his decision. He was picking the worst club in MLS. I don't even expect with the come of messi in intermiami will be able to change everything. Intermiami is now placing at the bottom of MLS.
It's a bit make sense if he was moving to the nashvilla or cincinnati but intermiami. What the heck was wrong with him. Im feeling curious what's his main motivation to pick it.

I can imagine that Lionel Messi couldn't care less if he joined a top club from the MLS or a club that is usually at the bottom of the table, because everyone knows that the only reason why he is going to the US now is that he can earn an ridiculous high amount of money now even in comparison to his salary so far. I am pretty sure that Messi does not care if Inter Miami can fight for the title or not because for him that MLS title means nothing anyway because he has won all the really important trophies in the world of football already like the Champions League and also the world cup. He is there to make some huge bank and that's it. I am not a friend of such transfers, but it is what it is.
I think Messi weighed his options and opted for Inter Miami which hold promising benefits not only for the present but the future also. This is a really brave decision and a good step towards improving Inter Miami and the MLS. A move to Barcelona would seem good but I was pretty sure it wouldn't feel same way it felt in his prime. I guess he feared making the same mistake Ronaldo made by returning to Manchester United and we all know how that ended. At MLS he is promised many lifetime benefits I guess he accepted this deal for a brighter future.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 08, 2023, 09:38:58 PM

Maybe a bit strange to 100% support Manchester City without considering Inter's chances.
Everyone now knows that Manchester City is the strongest team in Europe compared to Inter, but I think Inter can provide something that should not be underestimated by their opponents. Manchester City have a habit of controlling play, but sometimes they find it difficult to find space if the opposing team has a good defence.

I remember how Brighton managed to force Manchester City to a 1-1 draw in the last few Premier League matches, so Inter must be able to find a solution on how best to stop Manchester City. But of course, I doubt Inter can stop Manchester City because they have been doing very well this season. All the players that Manchester City have are dangerous, so that is the biggest obstacle for Inter.
After watching how Real Madrid were humiliated by Manchester City in the semi finals second leg, most football lovers have been quick to write off Inter Milan but this is football and anything is possible, Manchester City have more winning probability against Inter Milan but I strongly believe that Inter Milan will not sit back like Real Madrid and watch Manchester City dominate the game throughout.
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 08, 2023, 09:15:27 PM

I already said this before, but i really think that the chances of Borussia Dortmund to become Bundesliga champions this year were extremely high and i don't think that they will get such a big chance again in the next 5 years or so. As you already said, Bayern Munich is by far the strongest team of the Bundesliga and if they are able to at  least reach like 85% of their maximum performance level, then they will win the Bundesliga no matter what the other clubs are doing. This year this was not the case and still Dortmund was not able to profit from that. Now Bayern should be alarmed again and take the next season more serious.
Borussia Dortmund came really close this season in the race for the title, they pushed Bayern Munich until the end and didn't bow down easily. They might not be champions but I commend their efforts, performance and good mentality. If they can do the same next season, with a little luck they might get a chance to win the league.
619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: June 08, 2023, 08:48:28 PM
Sevilla won the Europa League this season and they were lucky enough to win this title but on the other hand, Sevilla have taken the final automatic place for the next champions league and they should get themself ready for the champions league where they are going to have harder games than what they had in Europa League. Sevilla couldn't have a good performance in most of the games in the Europa League and in La Liga but they should start hiring better players if they want to achieve something in the champions league.
Sevilla are successful in this competition, they now have a record of seven Europa league trophies. They managed to defeat Roma to become champions and gain automatic qualification to the Champions league. I must say that it is a bit surprising that they are champions judging from their performance level in other competitions this season nevertheless the fact that they won the Europa league trophy is all that matters now.
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: June 08, 2023, 08:26:44 PM

Only Mourinho fans will think Roma is doing well. I applaud them for getting to the Europa final, but then again, they had to forego every other trophy to pursue just one. I don't think that's a wise move. It's a big gamble and it didn't pay off my if it had paid off everybody would have been singing praise of Mourinho's class, but it did not pay off.
Roma was horrible in the league. They barely finished 6th, just a point above Juventus.
Maybe you're right that with another coach Roma won't get to the final, but their performance needs to improve. They can't keep playing like that. They played really badly in both legs against Leverkusen and didn't play really well against Sevilla. Playing that pattern o football won't take them no where.
I can boldly say that Roma are doing well under Mourinho because in a space of three years they have played two European cup finals and won one, before now Roma could barely qualify for European competitions talk more playing in a final, it is clear that Mourinho is actually doing a great job with this team.
