It looks like someone either wants out or trying to accumulate more by pushing the price down. 220k sold into the buy wall, and then another 15k to 117 sat. Selling now is kinda crazy when the MP is right around the corner, which makes accumulation probably the reason, don't play their game and they lose!  And the bot is back... Its unexplainable this kind of dumping...

Nice to see the volume on Bittrex!  Marketplace UpdateThe Amazon S3 code is completed. Now working on the KTK integration to reflect the update that was made to fix the online wallet api bug. So I'm aiming to get that and a couple of other small updates finished next week. Like with the online wallet give early access to a few people to test and then announce the go live date, plus the profit share info and details our first product to go on sale. I'll keep everyone posted as things progress! |

Online Wallet UpdateOkay everyone, it's been updated to make the qr code better when using on your phone. It now has a much better success rate of reading the qr code. On the send page you will see the 'Scan from QR Code' option which will use your camera to take a photo of the qr code, once you do that save it. The wallet will then load it and auto-populate the KTK address and amount. Remember if you previously signed up, delete the offline data to get the update. It differs slightly depending on what you're using. But for the ones I use... Firefox: Chrome:Enter the follow URL in your browser: chrome://appcache-internals/

I did test the wallet without the hardcoded nodes, to check it wasn't an issue with one of them. But didn't help, so until the marketplace is finished, the wallet will need to wait. The source is on github, so in the meantime anyone can take a look and if an update to fix is provided more than happy to give a KTK bounty. Yes, it's non-responsive while it's syncing. So when you initially load it, wait for it sync up and after that it works fine. Make sure you have the conf file from the OP. Why the fuck is the windows wallet freezing every 3 seconds? This is pathetic.

At least it will benefit the miners on the multipool! Someone is trying to press the price down. 129 sat is the highest bid offer. Ask is ridiculously low at 164. How low we go?
Those buys might as well lower. We need buys to start building with support. Also might as well get the people out at a lower price until we get more buyers. |

Those who were testing the online wallet, there has been a couple of minor updates. You need to delete the offline data in the browser options. It differs slightly depending on what you're using. But for the ones I use... Firefox:Chrome:Enter the follow URL in your browser: chrome://appcache-internals/ I'm also looking at the QR code function on the Request Payment page (which is purely for using on a smart phone), trying to improve that as the open source code the wallet is based on has the same buggy problem. Currently the qr code is offline while it's being looked at, so at some point will let everyone know to delete the offline data again. |

KryptKoin UpdateThe online wallet is now live!  http://kryptswallet.comStill have some small updates to improve the usability but can still be used now. The main focus for the wallet is the integrated API functions for the up coming marketplace. Which is in the final stages of completion, due to the delay in the original MP release date. To avoid that again, the remaining work will be finished and once it's ready I'll provide early access to a few people to test it and then post a 'go live' date. Also we have our first product, it's a wordpress plugin, full details will be posted the same time the MP goes live. It's owned by the MP, meaning all sales revenue is added to the KTK profit share program!

That's completely fine bud, no problem with that. Just the link is all, while a few are testing. Couple of minor things found and will be fixed. But doesn't stop from releasing tomorrow. I am not sure if the Dev will mind me saying this but I have tested the Online wallet it works great. I am not allowed to share the link but I am sure he is getting close to having it finished. DEV if this was too much info let me know and I will delete. I just wanted people to know it is getting closer and there are better things coming.

I missed this!! I've now added to the OP. yet we got another yellow card on bittrex.
until the market place is complete and working, there really isn't any reason for anyone to buy ktk, it's no different to any other coin as things stand. Now we can defo keep the bittrex bulls away for a few more weeks, but doing it long term will be harder you can use it to play dice  |

Just to keep everyone updated...
I'm still working on the marketplace, also found a problem with the KTK online wallet which stopped the api from working correctly (as a result it stopped the KTK payments working on the MP!) so to save some time I now have someone taking a look at fixing that, while I continue on the MP.
I'm currently working on the Amazon S3 integration and Stripe payments. Both of which I underestimated the time to complete. The S3 code is more important and will be finished first.
The the vendor product files are to use Amazon S3. Instead of using our own server to host files, they will be uploaded directly to S3. Saves server resources but is more complicated to get working for multi-users and making them secure.
When the S3 code is complete, one option after that is to go live as BTC payments are already integrated. Or wait until we have KTK payments enabled as well. The stripe payments could be added afterwards once it's ready.
Anyway, I'll post another MP update when the S3 code is done, and then decide the next move.

Unfortunately I underestimated the time needed to finish, and won't have it ready by tomorrow. I'll continue working and post a status update on Thurs/Fri, now until then it gives me a solid 3-4 days to work on it.
Very sorry peeps, hate to let everyone down but need to be sure it's not a half-assed job and actually working 100% before anyone starts using the service.

We still have a large amount in the bounty pot, and I have my KTK but in both instances they won't be registered for the KTK holders (20.4%) profit share.
Both together is around 1.5M, so straight away KTK holders will get a boost on the % share. I don't think it would be fair to give 20.4% and then claw some back from my own stack and the bounty pot!

I wanted to discuss about it earlier, but I forgot. First of all, stating that you don't want to receive profit, makes you different from a lot of devs out there, who just think about their gain.
Secondly, since you received just one share of KTK at launch, just like anyone else, and you bought the remaining amount that you own, you definitely deserve to earn profit too, just like others.I consider two personalities for you, KTK dev and a KTK holder. |

I was trying to keep things simple as possible but you have a good point, so will go with your suggestion. Yes And another good suggestion!
Few remarks. One: if dividends are to be paid in BTC only that would mean you would have to sell KTK that were earned on the MP, thus pushing the price down.
My suggestion is to pay dividend in KTK and BTC, where all non-KTK should be converted to BTC. That shouldn't be overly complex and in that way we won't add any selling pressure to the price of the coin.
Remark two. If dividend is to be paid based on KTK held in the wallet, how to determine the number of coins to qualify for dividend? Monitor periodically each eligible wallet and then take the average amount that was held in the wallet over that period?
Multiple addresses? No problem, registration would include sending, e.g., 100 uKTK to confirm you are the owner of the address. you would be required to pass txid of all addresses belonging to you that you want to be eligible for dividend.
The max limit was to try avoid anyone having too much % of the profit share. I agree about the first remark. About multiple addresses, I think prix said that putting upper limit is nonsense, since someone can have multiple addresses. And my question is why there should be an upper limit at the first place? the detail is promising , and i think the max holder limit is acceptable . maybe is a little too much, 0.5 Million is a good idea . BTC is the best payout to give holder. It's very difficult to control an upper limit. How do you want to control it? agree with upper limit I hold another coin and the dev of that coin was staking the distribution wallet at launch wich caused him to get most of the BTC dividend but it will be difficult to stop people having multiple wallets
