601  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoid trading crypto in real person. You can see this now on Binance. on: November 18, 2023, 11:26:26 AM
It's a problem for me to trade Bitcoin with anybody face to face, sorry, many things have happened that have robbed me of the little trust I have left in humans, just because the amount you trade is little doesn't mean you are safe, those who you trade with already know that you are into crypto and that's all they need, just pray that they are good people, because it's possible for them to think that you have more, saying that you will trade less amount face to face means you still trust people and I pity you.

Hunger and poverty is now what people put blames on when they do evil thing to humans like them, they are willing to hurt you for small amount and you are here saying that doing face to face trade is save if you are trading small amount, it's a no no no for me, I don't know what makes Binance have that option available, I have always see it on my Binanace account and I believe it's the most stupid thing an exchange can have as payment option.

Satoshi goes hidden for this same reason and you want to do this openly? It's stupidity, once your face is known that's it, avoid doing this, it makes not even the slightest sense, binance is baking like a kid implementing this option, and they should have learned when their workers where forced to empty their crypto wallets.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Math and Gambling on: November 18, 2023, 10:06:57 AM
If I am very good at math I would have look into games that has everything to do with math but unfortunately I am not, that's why I choose Slots game as the main one I play when ever I have the money to risk.

School is important to be honest, but to a certain point or level, degrees are what doesn't matter that much but still it's all about what you want for yourself in life and what you choose to become, I can't say that school is bad for those who strongly want to become Doctors and other.

I learned reading and writing through school, I am also able to know about Bitcoin because I can read too, school thus have it's benefits but I know where you are going with the idea that school isn't that important, still I will want all my children to be educated, whatever they choose to become will be their own choices and not mine.
603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a mega winner say no to public presentation? on: November 18, 2023, 09:11:13 AM
It depends on which country you hit the jackpot, if it's the America then I can charge the casino to go public because it's like they are trying to use me for advertisement, no way I am going to do that for free even if I win millions of dollars, the last people I can have mercy on in this life is casino owners, they have nothing to lose.

Now If this is happening in my country I won't dare decide to come out in the open, I will prefer to keep it as a secret because if you expose yourself you will see people trying to find you and where you live, and this includes criminals who will forcefully ask for their own share of the win, like it's normal thing to do, and if you are out of luck you will attract the evil ones who would like to take everything from you, by kidnapping you or someone in your family.

So if you are a mega winner first make sure you are in a safe country and protect yourself, or just tell them no and give them your reasons, there is no crime in saying no to them as coming out in the public after you win big amount of money isn't part of the gambling rules.
604  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you avoid scammers? on: November 16, 2023, 06:22:57 AM
A stranger come to my telegram yesterday and ask me about a certain project if I have bought it, then I answered yes, he claimed he have done the same very early and he already make up to ten times his money, I congrats him.

We stopped talking, and this morning he named a coin that I should go and buy it early before it pumped, I knew where it's all going but I decided to have some fun, so I did my research using coin gecko and coinmarketcap, I found out that the coin isn't even listed yet, then he decide to drop me a smart contract.

He told me to add the smart contract on uniswap and make purchase, I believe he created the fake token himself and named it the same name as the upcoming project, what a good way to scam strangers who don't know much about crypto, I listened to him this far to know or learn about his scamming trick, right from the beginning I knew he is a scammer.

Strangers seeking attention do more damage to crypto beginners than anything else, do not give your attention to them, set your social media app to receive messages only from friends and family, if you have any question to ask about crypto, create topic about it on this forum.
605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler's family action. on: November 15, 2023, 09:13:20 AM
During the weekend I was listening to an evening programme from one our the local radio stations they were discussing about gambling, the effects and how to manage it if you might be struggling with  addiction. And they had listeners calling in to share personal experiences or of a loved one that gambles and amidst many callers there was this very caller story that caught my interest and curiosity.

She told about how the family members of a particular young man that is like a plunger when it comes to gambling, his compulsive gambling is to the length of him selling his personal properties and gadgets to make sure he gambles. So what he family did was to print a photograph of him and giving it to all the gambling shops within their neighborhood and around the locality, threatening that any of the gambling shops they have pasted the photo of their brother should they find their brother allowed to gamble in the shops they will sue the gamble shop owner to court as one that is abetting their brother's compulsive gambling lifestyle.

Now, while I was quietly listening to the story in my head I began to ask myself several possible  questions and one of such questions was; is it not possible that this young man can take a cab away from their location and move to a far area to carry out his gambling since his a compulsive gambler.

Just two questions here:
1. Dis the family of this young man went too extreme in trying to help stop their brother from gambling addiction or not?

2. Assuming you are this young man and you had to run to a distant location to carry out your gambling as you are allowed to gambling within your neighborhood and luckily you won huge sum of million dollars. Would you share that money with your loved ones who were barring you from gambling or you will just stay off from them and live new found wealthy live alone?

Share your thoughts!
This story have to be judge by thinking if you have someone like that gambler in your family, because I won't allow such person to make decisions for the family, I am thinking that he is the head of the house that's why he was able to sell properties successfully,  I don't see a thing that wrong with what the family did, some people are behaving like they are possessed with gambling, they will get so closed to gambling as if it's a do or die thing.

Addiction with gambling has levels, some are top notched, they will even sell their wives and daughters to the brothel for some money to use in gambling, there are different stories like this around the world like those countries where poverty is the biggest problem, these set of people are very hard to control, nothing can work on them not even therapies can solve their addiction to gambling.

To me they don't went to far to help this man but it may not work, gambling addiction is something that you must break yourself, when your mind is made up nothing can hinder it again, and when you decide to stop gambling you will succeed, the only way this addiction can be won is if this man is ready to stop gambling himself.
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High fees are not bitcoin's destinty on: November 15, 2023, 08:00:27 AM
I see that the positive side of Ordinal NFTs is that they have given us a practical idea of the problems that the Bitcoin network will suffer in the event of global adoption, and this will push the Bitcoin community to search for solutions that must be developed to eliminate this highly likely problem in the future.

The Bitcoin network is still in its infancy, and as global adoption expands in the future, we will certainly face these problems, so it is best to look for solutions to these potential problems now.

Another good aspect is that miners will no longer have to fear for the future of mining due to rewards being halved every four years. They now see that this problem can be solved by increasing transactions on the network.
This makes the miners winner overall, they are the only one enjoying the high transaction fee on Bitcoin network now, at least when there is no more Bitcoin to mine miners won't have to quit their mining farm, they will make money from transactions on the network but for daily usage of Bitcoin it's going to be a problem, I hope a solution will come after or else people will look for alternatives.

I believe that Bitcoin is a gold more than a payment solution, I won't be using Bitcoin for any payment from now on, I am used to accepting Bitcoin payment from few numbers of customers but now it's near impossible because they aren't ready to pay that much to send me my money, I might look for other option or just halt Bitcoin payment from now on.

Ordinals is why the transaction fee is this high and I watched a video online about why people believe that Ordinals on the Bitcoin network will make miners stay in the mining business but what about people accepting Bitcoin as payment?  Using $4 to send Bitcoin is a lot, this $4 in my local currency is enough to buy and sew a cloth.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you want to play on casinos without KYC requirements? on: November 15, 2023, 07:39:11 AM
Money laundering business is at advantage for those running a casino than people using the casino to gamble, it makes no sense that KYC can reduce money laundering in casinos, if I want to launder money I won't choose a casino because its not mine, out of my total control, anyway, many people have already gave good points about KYC and gambling but what I know is that crime and illegal activities are always off the plain site, they happened where you won't look into, if any casino is going to run any illegal activities they will be registered and legalized, this will make the casino the last place to would suspect of any illicit activities.

People don't know that those who have the power to make rules are the ones capable of criminal activities, and they will operate easily without any suspicions.

Now I do believe that KYC is compulsory for different reasons and I don't have problem with that, but privacy is a big concern online, most people don't want to be tracked that's why they value their privacy, I don't blame them because those centralized power are used to doing such things, I hate banks for this.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: November 15, 2023, 06:43:28 AM
I am a discipline and a responsible gambler but tend to quit gambling somedays.
I think I am going to be missing the whole fun of it but if I would find it difficult keeping total off it, I have thought of going around the gambling grounds (gambling tables) with a logical lucrative planning to taking advantage over the gambling tables though am not gonna be a partaker in the gambling anymore.

How do I take advantages over the gambles while I am not gambling anymore?
I tend to invest in the gambling. How?
At my visits in the gambling grounds, I will be lending my funds to the losers who has run out of  funds and willing to bet more if they have more money.
I tends to make this a deal with interest charges with concrete agreement to be secured and I will be opened to also accepting collaterals.

I verily know that I will succeed more of the inexperienced and those gamblers who doesn't have gambling budgets including those who can't take control over their gambling emotions

You are confused, you don't know what investment is all about and gambling is very differ from investment, I think you need to do some readings yourself, there is no way to invest in gambling, because it's not an asset or real estate.

I don't think that casinos have shares too, like how we can invest on twitter and Facebook, if its possible then you will be investing on a casino company by buying their stock, you need to make a choice as you can't quit gambling and still be able to make money from gambling.

It's better to quit if you want and invest in something that will give you passive income every day, this is better as you can see with your eye why you invest your money on, and you will also be able to handle it yourself, stop looking for ways to invest in gambling because you can end up getting scammed.

Do your own research on gambling stocks if that's what you are looking for, there are few places online to visit for this, like etoro and saxo, mind you the casinos on these stock investment platforms are located in the US and far distance foreign countries, like Las Vegas Sands Corp or Boyd Gaming, just make sure you do your own research.
609  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallets on Coinbase on: November 14, 2023, 11:17:02 AM
That's not a non-custodial wallet, you are at risk of the CS acting very funny wit you when you are doing some things in that wallet, I have used it in the past when I could not tell the difference and I advice beginners to learn about the differences in crypto wallets before making a choice, this have cost me a lot of money in the past as I couldn't get access to my assets anymore, be careful will wallets straight from centralized exchanges, the only one I trust is Trust wallet and thats because Binance is responsible for the wallet.

Any wallet that is closed source is not safe to use, also if you are asked to log into your wallet do not use such wallet, coinbase wallet is just another bank account that's been monitored by the banks themselves, they have access to your fund at your back and they have the power to lock you out of your wallet.

We need to be careful now, crypto value is getting bigger and better, if your asset is big enough then it's worth stealing and ruining their reputation for, there is no one that can be trusted with money and valuable assets, keep yours safe using non-custodial and open source wallets, what you have is one of the most valuable thing in the world today, it's sure that they will come trying to take them away from you.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ? on: November 14, 2023, 10:10:59 AM
There is no way to find this out, there is no accurate data that can give us a number on gamblers that are also bitcoin investors, but one thing is for sure, those who use Bitcoin to gamble are already bitcoin users, and there is a big chance that they have some numbers of Bitcoin in their wallet starched away for future sakes.

There are few bitcoin investors that are interested in gambling to increase the number of their Bitcoin, they aren't into gambling to make more money, they are in to make more Bitcoin, I have become a bitcoin investor before I started trying gambling but Bitcoin comes first, we all know how complicated it is to operate a bitcoin wallet as a beginner, it makes no sense for a beginner to choose bitcoin for gambling without having any idea about Bitcoin before.

The acceptance of Bitcoin payment is growing every day so many more stores and businesses will start accepting Bitcoin, I believe that more new gamblers will prefer to use Bitcoin over others as their favourite digital currency for gambling.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a gambler be a good bitcoin trader? on: November 14, 2023, 09:45:28 AM
It's dangerous to say yes, because it's all about the mindset, when you set your mind on gambling I don't think that anything else will matter to you, bitcoin trading requires some patience and chart reading but gambling isn't like that and trying to do the same will interface with the other, I don't believe in this strategy because it's generally a bad idea.

If you haven't been addicted to gambling its easier not to know how it feels like, gamblers are in for quick money, majoirt of them are gambling because they can make money fast but trading is all about patience, one can't go with the other because they are both opposite of each other.

If you are good at trading do not confuse yourself by becoming a gambler, stick with trading as it's more reliable than gambling, doing both together will make you a bad trader as your focus will be lost, gambling is very distracting, don't get involved unless you know how to handle it's addiction.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your parent disinherit you eventhough you have not proven to be chronic gambler on: November 14, 2023, 08:34:24 AM
I don't believe that the parents don't have the concrete evidence that there child is way focused on gambling than his career, parents know their child better than anyone that's why I believe that there is more to the point you are sharing, if anyone is in this type of situation always ask them very well, there is always more to it than you know.

Every parents don't pray to leave their things behind in the hands of strangers or family, that's why children are important, so if you come across a father who decide disinherit their child then they have some valid reasons for it, if you come to my face with this problem I will advice you to change your ways and listen to your parent.

No one wants the best for us then those who gave birth to us, even if you get so lucky with gambling you don't have to build your while life around it, quit and find something good to use the money for, you can't keep gambling because it gives you a lot of money, if you don't quit you will be forced to quit by poverty.

Every penny you made from the house belongs to the house unless you stop gambling, one day you might lose everything back to the house, which are the rightful owners anyway, I am not against gambling but you need to use your brain.
613  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you securely manage and store your Bitcoin wallets? on: November 13, 2023, 01:20:11 PM
I prefer writing down my seed phrase in a book, but the main thing starts when I am trying to create a new bItcoin wallet, do it offline always, disconnect all internet and proceed then writebdown your seeds, the only keep you have to worry about from now on is making sure that no man sees the seed with their eyes.

Creating your crypto wallet offline is far safer than anything else, this is the type of crypto wallet that I plan to keep for a very long time, different from the one I use for making daily transactions, I mean such wallets stays online almost every time isn't it? But for long term holding and similar its best if they are generated offline..

I like hardware wallet too, if you have the money it's even the best for crypto beginners and even old crypto investors, make sure to go with brands that are popular and fully open source, they have their own risks as well too but my advice is do your own research.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sites with bonuses without deposit on: November 13, 2023, 12:37:30 PM
It's possible only if the casinos are brand new, they may have such offer running but it will be limited, time based and once it's gone it's never coming back, there was one that I used to claim free tokens every day but it was in beta phase, later I noticed they have get too slow with the development and til days nothing is happening.

Remind yourself that you can get your hands on the bonuses but they might not have any good value, most new casinos will give bonuses not in dollars, to them it's a loss giving away free money, expect such bonuses to come in form of tokens or free spin, mind you they will only give access once the casino is up and running.

For me such bonuses doesn't suits me, that's why til date I don't have interest in any free bonuses from any online casinos, most times it's just not worth the time and energy, I believe that those who have a lot of money to waste on casinos are the ones getting hands on good offers and bonuses, either through deposit bonuses or others.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A tip for staying resposible while gambling. on: November 13, 2023, 11:09:53 AM
This tip from OP will never work in anyway, it's even laughable because what do you think they will gain from such idea? You can only advice people including the new gamblers, what happens after is beyond your control, those who will listen to you will do it for themselves and those who believe that you are bluffing will also do the opposite by ignoring your advice.

Some people only learn or believe your advice after they are a victim of what you are preventing them from, that's when you will hear them saying you are right all along, I don't force people to listen to me, I care so less about it, but some people do want someown to guide them, they are perfect listeners, that's why I won't get tired to warning people on this forum.

The only way to avoid getting wrecked by gambling is by limiting yourself from gambling activities, the more time you spent with gambling then you are looking for something it seems, more money? Or you are trying to hard to drag that luck closer to you, this is very wrong, why not engage in gambling like an hour routine per day? Let's just do it since we really can't tell what will happen, like miners solo mining Bitcoin, waiting for years to solve a block.

So in what what does it make any sense to you that throwing any amount you can get into gambling will take you further and faster to winning some big money? It's all lies.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategies on: November 13, 2023, 10:00:56 AM
I have the best strategy for sport betting and I am willing to give it out for free, that's you risking only what you can afford to lose, don't use money that's meant for your education and don't use money that is supposed to keep your business running, stay away from loans and borrowing money from anyone to risk on gambling.

If the government is benefiting from the people for been poor and deep in poverty then what will they benefit if majority of people are rich? Yet they still allow casinos to run and function in their country, it shows they are smarter than you, people acts like zombies all the time, this is what they believe, they knew that the chances of you getting rich in gambling is super slim, and they start regulating casinos to make money off them too, to the government, gambling is a win win situation for them.

It's like what Kiyosaki used to say, keep them poor, start selling them their fantasies, they are making millions off the poor and pretending to give hope onto them if they can take the risk, it's like running a circus, wise the up people, risk only what you can afford.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a gambler be a good bitcoin trader? on: November 12, 2023, 10:10:00 AM
A professional trader that I know started his money making journey through gambling and he lost a lot of money, he later abandoned gambling for trading and that's where he picked up till today, he is now thinking about gambling again, this is what I love to hear about people because this person is born smart, most gamblers wont quit, they will not look for solution to the problem, instead they will keep believing that some miracle will happen one day and time will fly faster before they realize that they have nothing so far.

The problem with gamblers is they lack good source of making money, this is the first problem to deal with and gambling isn't the solution to this, you are to do something that's worth sacrificing your time on, sorry gambler, but this is true, you will be comfortable with gambling only when you are making some money else where.

Choosing gambling first over everything else is a very bad plan, learn some good skills and start making money first then think about gambling later, gambling and a game of luck is for people who can afford taking the risk the safest way.
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: November 12, 2023, 09:39:35 AM
They could but who cares? It's something that do with their personal choices but I have never seen owners coming to their location to gamble, how many casino owners have you seen gambling in their own casino OP?

Showing their faces in their own casino is not safe for them either, do you know that some people who gambles never grow pass their losses? They hold grudges when they lost money that's why they do crimes and blame the casino for their crimes.

Now imagine if the the owner is present in the casino when someone lose a lot of money, anything can happen, they can target the owner and do some stuffs that are illegal, this is why most casino owners don't expose themselves to the public, it's not safe for them.
619  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin really risky as they say? on: November 12, 2023, 08:18:54 AM
Before you get involve and invest your money into anything you must first know everything about it, that's the case with Bitcoin, if you don't like learning then Bitcoin is not for someone like you, this is where the risky aspect of Bitcoin is born, you lack every knowledge and you aren't trying to seek for knowledge either, so of cos, you are at risk if you still proceed with investing in Bitcoin.

For someone who understand Bitcoin they are not exposed to any risks, they know the right things to do about Bitcoin and they know how to safe their wallet from thieves online, someone who don't want to learn won't have the ideas needed and so they will lost their Bitcoin.

Lack of knowledge is why people believe that Bitcoin is risky, to them, once Bitcoin starts to dump it's over, they wont see opportunity present to them by the dump, only those who understands Bitcoin will know that it's an opportunity to buy, not those that refuse to learn anything about Bitcoin.
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What impact does the BTC price have on your gambling habits? on: November 12, 2023, 07:24:39 AM
You don't go to your long term holding portfolio to withdraw into any casino account, like who does that? Your Bitcoin bag should be put aside from your gambling account, when you have the money to risk in gambling you can use that to buy Bitcoin and send it to the casino account, but do not use your main Bitcoin for gambling.

If you are eaarning $100 per week you can use 2% or 5% to buy Bitcoin and send to your gambling account, this will not make you feel like you are wasting your Bitcoin on gambling, unless you are getting paid in Bitcoin every week or month.

Also do not forget that you can get more Bitcoin if you win some money too, if you are a responsible gambler it shouldn't be hard for you to do, the best thing anyone can do is to keep using small amount that they can afford to lose in gambling.

A part of me is even feeling like getting paid in Bitcoin can make you think straight with gambling, you knew what Bitcoin is turning into this days, this can make you tune down your risks on gambling because you are using something far more precious to gamble.
