601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Italian Red Cross accepts BTC as donations to fight the corona virus on: March 24, 2020, 12:42:00 PM
That’s good. In my country it’s not like that, the red cross in my country is only accepting MasterCard, Visa, and PayPal. Though that’s not something I’m worried, they can accept whatever they want, I believe that’s a method they are convenient with and it makes things easy for them.

So, a few times that I have donated to them that wasn’t of concern to me, I just donate with my MasterCard card. But it’s good that the organization in Italy is recognizing bitcoin and allowing people to make payment with it. I know for sure that some people who make use of bitcoin will feel motivated to donate, there are lots of people who are looking for this kind of opportunity of using their BTC for good.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the best time to teach about bitcoin? on: March 24, 2020, 07:36:21 AM
Back then the only way that one can get to learn and make use of Bitcoin is through faucets, there were lots of good faucets back then and I happened to come across one of the best faucets that was paying me up to 700 Satoshis every five minutes, while other faucets were just paying 50 or so. I was able to gather lots of Satoshis from the site and as time goes on they shut down the website.

There are still faucets that can be trusted these days but the thing is that they don’t pay much, you will just end up working hard and getting nothing. And don’t forget that Bitcoin is not the only means for earning online, we all can’t be looking for means here, there are lots of other ways too.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 24, 2020, 06:50:32 AM
I don’t know where you heard that Bitcoin is doomed, and moreover this is not a new thing, there are always lots of haters who keep saying lots of trash about Bitcoin and we know that these are all fake. I don’t even give my time to such or listen to what they have got to say. I just focus on my business and invest on whatever I want to invest in.

Covid-19 affected other market and they never said anything about it, they only talk about Bitcoin and try their best to discourage people from investing in it. The truth is that the time will come and all these things will pass away. And Bitcoin is not doomed, it will still be around after everything.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Ripple’s XRP could reach $1 in 2020 ? on: March 23, 2020, 09:21:46 PM
Let's not kid ourselves, xrp is not going anywhere near that amount anytime soon. It is a marvel that it is currently around 15 cents, it shouldn't even be around that level, it should be something much lower if you ask me, I do not understand how people do not see why ripple is a scam and anyone who buys ripple is getting scammed by the company, you are getting a coin that promises absolutely nothing and only is used properly by the banks to move big money around, that's it.

You are just a pawn at their own game and you are first ones to go when something goes wrong. If xrp goes to 1 dollars that means a lot of people got scammed, I hope it never reaches those levels because reaching those levels would mean the loss of money by thousands of people and I would be very sad about that.
605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 23, 2020, 07:36:08 PM
The first reason of crushing markets is "I heard about a project which exited scam" Secondly the corona virus death news in deferent countries.  But it will go back soon IMO too.
I guess you are talking about PlusToken which was a ponzi scheme if anyone is not aware about it, they stole a massive amount of bitcoins, ethereum and EOS and they left a message of "sorry we have run" which really made me feel how bad the investors must have felt reading that message.

You guys may read about it here - https://boxmining.com/plus-token-ponzi

I do believe that this virus has caused chaos and there will be a big problem for almost everyone even if you are untouched by the virus, the platform you trade on, the industry you work for are affected and that directly affects you. I heard there is a big crash in the share market and people even sold their assets like bitcoin which caused a bitcoin slump too.
606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TOP 6 RULES IN CRYPTO TRADING on: March 23, 2020, 06:23:16 PM
You know, the 1st point you mentioned is so funny but extremely important because I see how so many people discuss about trading and how to be successful but they are still not trading and hesitant because they feel like they are not knowledgeable enough while the truth it, you won't be perfect from day one so just start and improve than than trying to be perfect first then start.

All the points made are excellent but I would love to add a point which I myself prefer while trading:

Cover your loss but be greedy too: What this means is suppose you had a loss in previous trade then yes try to cover the profit by selling other coins/assets at probably lower price than expected but when you see potential price increase just be greedy and hold a bit longer too at times.
607  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: we are so close to HALVING !!!are these dumps CONNECT to halving time??? on: March 23, 2020, 05:24:41 PM
Halving will not cause a drop, there is no mathematically possibility that makes sense. Do not get me wrong I am not saying price will not fall after halving or anything, maybe as soon as halving happens price doesn't go up as much as people expect and in return people will say "I was hoping so much! I am going out, I am sick and tired of this waiting!" and sell their coins and when enough people sell there will be chaos and it will trigger even more selling and so forth.

Basically it is a long term thing but halving itself can't cause a drop, it is anti-inflation thing that just means there will be less and less bitcoin printed everyday so how could that drop the price? Surely this was due to economical crisis world is in and that's it, nothing else related to it.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is all set to boom now... on: March 23, 2020, 03:15:01 PM
I understand that everyone is expecting something from ethereum and that is totally realistic however have you checked what ethereum has done in the past 1 month alone?

I know that there was a market movement so ethereum didn't moved too much out of the market but it was seriously crazy honestly. Just this month we have seen both 274 dollars as the peak and we have also seen 105 dollars or so, that means ethereum is seriously risky and nothing really moved as much as that.

Bitcoin for example didn't moved like that, even  right now ethereum is lower than what bitcoin dropped so ethereum is affected more. Long story short, ethereum could go up and it is destined to because if it doesn't it looks like it is not liked at all and drops more than others.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for the dip days as an investor on: March 22, 2020, 04:07:29 PM
A lot of people start buying BTC and ETH from their fiat currencies the moment price drops so it the rates of our fiat currency increases and it might not be that beneficial. Storing USDT is a good option for me as it gives me the chance to instantly buy bitcoins or any other coin at the moment I think the price start dumping. Each of us who want to invest or start trading should hold USDT as it is what gives us the ease to easily make an purchase.

The current market has given a exact dip to buy in and also I am sure that most of the big whales too are been waiting to make an purchase. There would be time in the near coming future when you would regret for not buying at this dip.
610  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin is made for times like these why is everyone selling at a time like.. on: March 22, 2020, 03:21:43 PM
Bitcoin didn’t stand as much as I expected, instead it kept falling and even to the level I least expected. I was thinking that $7000 was going to be the lowest rate it was heading to, but I’m surprised when I woke up to see that the price has dropped to below $4k levels, that is way more less than I expected.

I can’t even say that bitcoin is a safe haven any longer, though I never believed much on that because I know that bitcoin is a volatile asset. Gold was able to stand through the test, except as of recent when it decreased from $54000 and down to $49000. The reason I’m not much worried is because bitcoin is not the only cryptocurrency that decreased, almost every market was affected.
611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: March 22, 2020, 09:40:23 AM
I have not used a bot before, but I do know people that have tried it and according to them it’s not really worth it. The returns the developers claim you will get is not what you get at the end.

I have seen some devs that comes here and claim a guaranteed return when you use their bot, you should skeptical of such people, they may be lying. One has actually claimed that his bot will give traders up to 8% return a month, but whatever, it’s just that if you want to try these bots you should do so with shitcoins or money that you don’t really need to prove their authenticity.
612  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy Bitcoin (since halving is coming) on: March 22, 2020, 09:00:39 AM
You can buy bitcoin through any means you want. There are lots of platforms that would let you buy bitcoin and make payment with cash, but I haven’t bought Bitcoin with cash before, I think it requires making payment to the seller’s bank account and then showing them the receipt as a proof of payment and they will make payment of the cryptocurrency amount you need to your wallet address.

I haven’t tried that, I have only been making use of centralized exchanges for quick purchasing of Bitcoin with my debit card, it’s really fast and there is no need for delay.
613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is everyone expecting continuous growth? on: March 22, 2020, 08:12:01 AM
It’s a normal thing, anyone that is investing their money somewhere will always be expecting that there be a return (profit). So, I don’t really blame people that are always whining about the price of Bitcoin, I understand that completely, though sometimes they can be quite annoying. Reason they are annoying at times is because, anyone that is investing in Bitcoin is meant to know already that Bitcoin is a risky investment and they can lose their money at anytime.

But some of them seems to neglect that and juts be talking about profit even after you make it clear to them.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More Damages to Crypto Market on: March 21, 2020, 04:55:53 PM
Why do people think that when the whole world economy is collapsing, bitcoin prices should go up? I mean I can understand if it was local thing but this is GLOBAL, as in all of the world is in panic right now and everyone is afraid of either dying or infecting their elderly, so of course the whole economy is collapsing and it will get worse as well.

How could bitcoin be higher during all of this? People are selling literally their possessions to get tested and get better, they are hoarding many products to stay inside, they need money constantly. I mean this is of course affecting crypto, how could it not. The only possible thing that maybe could have gone unnoticed was gold because usually gold goes up during times like this but even that is low right now.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: March 21, 2020, 03:24:57 PM
I do not disagree with the fact that before corona we weren't doing all that well neither, you are right that world economy was crushing and basically got stuck and had to go down to start recovering again, however we also can't say it has nothing to do with corona can we? Do not get me wrong of course it was bad and of course it would have happened anyway without corona as well even if not today but a year later but eventually.

However, when you consider corona actually stopping many business', closing down many shops, stopping purchasing luxury stuff, stopping cafes and restaurants, stopping all the big companies, well eventually you see why stock market dropped as well. It is not 100% correlated maybe, however it is mainly due to corona that it happened NOW and not later.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum very volatile on: March 21, 2020, 12:48:37 PM
I don't know if we have dropped as further as we can or if we will do any better but it looks like we are doing a bit better last days. We have tried to go down under 100 dollars and so forth, but bitcoin prices increases as well and ethereum is doing better too.

I think whatever has happened already happened and we are not really going down anymore, we already did and this was it, I suspect this was the last of the drops. From here on out we will probably be better and go up, maybe it will take time, maybe we will stay here for months before we see another increase, but I do not think we will go down under 5k too much anymore (not counting 4.8k+ in general). I could be wrong but it looks definitely like that is the situation right now to me.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoins is helping during the lockdown on: March 21, 2020, 10:28:39 AM
I hope you didn’t make him believe that cryptocurrency is a key to solving their problem, because if we are being sincere it is not, it doesn’t solve your problem. This is an investment and he can invest the remaining money he has and end up losing it and that would be worst for him, the price of bitcoin has been critical as of lately, so telling him to invest his money in Bitcoin is a really bad idea.

The only thing I support that he should do know is look for online jobs, and not even signature campaign because he will need to register in this forum and become an active user before he will reach a level to start joining signature campaign.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency fraud and scams on: March 21, 2020, 10:03:48 AM
Lol where you said that people should send emails to ask questions about the exchange? Seriously, why should you even be sending an email to ask them about their exchange ? You know for sure that even ask scammers about their fake exchange they are never going to tell you that it’s a fake, they will keep on pretending and acting like it’s real to convince you.

The best thing is never to talk to them, so that they won’t have your email. Only their site is enough to figure out if they are scammers. Check for their team and then trace them to their social media, especially LinkedIn to figure out if they are really what they are claiming to be. Sometimes they use pictures that belongs to other people and pretend to be those people, so you have got to be very careful.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did this guy just find the founder of Bitcoin? on: March 21, 2020, 09:29:16 AM
Lolz I can’t believe that someone is still talking about Satoshi by now. Why won’t you people let this guy rest for once? It’s not a crime if he doesn’t want to reveal his identity to the world, so allow him to rest please. It’s not everyone that likes to be in the public eye at all times and have the media disturbing their business.

There are people who prefers to stay and live a private life and enjoy what they have got. So, y’all better just let him be and stop all these things you’re posting. I’m already getting posts like this, I have seen many of them to the extent it’s now getting annoyed cause I know that if I still click and watch this video is going to be a waste of time and my data.
620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: March 20, 2020, 09:33:19 AM
You forgot to mention Hodl (long term investment) or is it under trading as well?
Out of the three things you have mentioned I have only been into binary options trading and nothing else.

As for cryptocurrency I just hold and wait for the right time when the price would go up and I will sell my coins and make profit. What people don’t know , they will say that it’s a scam. I have seen lots of people that are saying that binary options are scam, but the truth that these people are the ones that don’t know anything about trading binary options, so they end up losing their money and then say that they were scam lol.
