601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's that HUGE gap between huobi and btc-e price? on: November 21, 2015, 06:55:31 PM
The price difference creates a great oppertunty to do trading purposes. However the sending time is quite long and for both exchanges you need to verify your account with an ID.

For me both exchanges, but especially BTC_E are not to be trusted. Russian based etc.
602  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 10 bitcoin traders you must follow on Twitter on: November 21, 2015, 06:52:57 PM
I follow winklevoss since 3 months. Really got my interest with the announcement of Gemini.

They did great by the way,  So many  potential there.
Let's hope they can keep it up.

P.S. I know Adam from Viral, he has some nice marketing tactics. Let's hope he didn't forget them, the current price of viral is not looking good on his resume.

A great list with many elite tweeters. Like you I just knew the winklevoss twins (did not follow them though), but today i dediced to start following them.

P.S. I don't think Adam can deliver on Viral
603  Economy / Speculation / Re: help with your valued opinion please on: November 21, 2015, 06:51:15 PM
ok fair enough, I totally follow your logic just trying to gauge an opinion , I’m thinking around 50%, I intend to buy the newest miners as they come out and I’m not worried about the power costs so can keep older miners longer, but I wanted to move them on before they start to play up / break down
Like I wrote - way too many factors involved to provide a good estimate.  They might be worth 50% a year from now, or they might be worth 5%, or they could be worth 85%.  As an example, I bought batch 1 S3s.  I paid 0.75BTC each - which translated to about $475 at the time.  They are currently selling for around $100 give or take.

The problem with the Batch 1 S3's where that they were sold in a price where bitcoin was worth 600 usd. So yes a lot of the loss is caused by the decline in price.

My batch 9 were bought at 0.45 BTC @ 450 USD. So much more of the value was not lost.
604  Economy / Speculation / Re: price impact with bitcoin black Friday? on: November 21, 2015, 06:48:53 PM
Black Friday didn't have much of an impact last year. The price briefly went up a little afterwards, then crashed heavily down. Perhaps this year will be different. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Nevertheless I don't think it will affect the price heavily.

I think this event is way bigger than last year, so we should see an impact on the price Roll Eyes
But it should be a temporary one, after the event is done, the price should go back to the way it was before Tongue
But i hope i can make a pretty good profit in the temporary price surge Wink

Maybe you care to elaborate it. How could this increase the value of bitcoin.

The bitcoins that people buy (price increase) will be sold by the merchants (price decrease) so it will be balanced?

And/or make a add coin form where the users can submit altcoins for approval.
606  Economy / Services / Re: Order anything from Amazon.com.Pay in Bitcoins.LIMITED 30% off!! on: November 21, 2015, 06:45:26 PM
Is your service also available for EU users?

WIth that i don't mean the UK, but germany and belgium. We don't have  dedicated amazon site for our countries so we have to spend it on the .com website.

Please let me now.
607  Economy / Services / Re: HIRE - Prestashop developer to build BTC module on: November 21, 2015, 06:43:40 PM
Hi,

Im looking prestashop developer to build me custom module for selling/buying bitcoin.

It should work like this :

Customer buying 1 BTC code equilavent with current BTC rate (integrated with blockchain API to check current rate every 10 min) then submit payment and receive code. Code later can redeem on link provided and later BTC automated send to assigned wallet address.

PM me. Good pay via BTC.

I am interested in this too. Perhaps we can combine forces and split the cost of developing such a module?

If like that, please contact me by PM so we can work this out. In most cases it is perfect to make a new job on freelancer.com. Some very qualified developers are there.
608  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] WHALECLUB.CO · Fantasy Bitcoin Trading on: November 21, 2015, 06:41:55 PM
Your about page lacks a lot of information:
https://www.whaleclub.co/about

Perhaps you should add an address/phone to convince users that you are a legit company?
609  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is Cryptsy about to fold over??? on: November 21, 2015, 06:37:34 PM
The downfall of a great exchange has happened after they partnered up with Josh Garza, after that it went downhill.

They try to focus on new things (creditcard, websites fixes etc) but in fact nothing new has happened. In fact it got worse.

By having users wait days for a withdrawal they take your money hostage.. really sad to be honest.
610  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: November 21, 2015, 06:35:34 PM
I got over tickets which are months old, wrong payouts regarding calculation of fees, no payouts etc. etc.

But there is no sign of support. They just don't give a damn about their users. Even with 60TH S5, they think you are a small client, and are entitlted to.. no support.

Really pathetic how hashnest conducts their business.
611  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Avalon 6 Vs Antminer S7, which one you will choose? on: November 21, 2015, 06:28:30 PM
I am a bitmain fan so i have to go with the S7. However the avalon looks very nice. I think I will buy just one for testing purposes.

It's not good to depend on 1 party.
612  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What are the most popular miners? on: November 21, 2015, 06:11:18 PM
For sure antminers are the most popular miners. This is due bitmain has been long in the game and proven they are solid regarding delivery, support and more.

I think Spondoolies was the surprise of 2015, coming up as number 2 asic supplier.
613  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if we sit at $310-$340 for 2 more years? on: November 21, 2015, 06:09:43 PM
It is unlikely to happen. Too much going on in the cryptoscene to get another stagnant phase of 2 years.

Either it will go down slowly again, or we will start rising again to challenge the 500+ region yet again.

I think we will stay around this price for a couple of weeks. Nothing seems to be happening right now, but 2 years?

No way, I am sure without a few months the price will reach a new year high, for the block halving..
614  Economy / Speculation / Re: price impact with bitcoin black Friday? on: November 21, 2015, 06:08:27 PM
i doubt that there will be any decent impact on the price, well it might grow about 5 per cent but its possible without the black friday either

I can't understand this hype around black friday, last year nothing happen, so why would this year happen something...?

People will spent it, merchants will convert it and people will buy btc to buy more so they can spend it..
615  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: November 21, 2015, 06:05:49 PM
Honestly I miss the oppertunity to spend my bitcoin, since not enough shops are avaliable to spend my bitcoin.

Perhaps it's time to approach shops and ask them to accept them?.
616  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Gold the root of all evil? on: November 21, 2015, 06:02:00 PM
Gold is just a lump from the ground. People are evil. If used tampons were the cast iron store of value then you'd be demonising that.

People will do everything evil to do harm their fellow humans. It's within ourself and though many of us have a right balance, some people can't resist the temptation.

Be it gold, bitcoin or usd evertyhing of value will change how some people thing and what they are willing to do...
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are The Financial Elite Saying About Bitcoin? on: June 15, 2015, 08:50:36 PM
Screw them. They're bunch of puppets of the classical finance system.
This is Bitcoin man! We're gonna take down your regulated finance system by pigs and rip it apart!
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold on....you can buy things on ebay now....with Bitcoins! on: June 06, 2015, 10:13:07 PM
That's really great news! I need to buy some stuff from Ebay and I don't have credit card, paypal acc etc. (I don't use because of shitty banks).
Also we can be sure about that those gift cards weren't bought with a "stollen credit card".
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Stolen at Gunpoint in New York City Robbery!! on: June 06, 2015, 10:01:34 PM
There's an option at person on person exchange;
Do the exchange at a police station. If the buyer/seller doesn't accept that term then he's probably a robber Smiley
