So another bank joined this network which already include UBS, RBC, Bank of America, Credit Agricole, Standard Chartered, Westpac, Mizuho Financial Group, UniCredit S.p.A., BMO. and Santander. Kuwait Finance House is the first Islamic bank established in 1977 in the State of Kuwait. Its banking network spans across seven regions worldwide The best part is that an Islamic bank is getting closer to the crypto-world, not bad as a start.

You can make 500 high quality posts over the course of a year and you might go somewhere on here. This site is a joke now.
You can get 50 smerit with a good post and you can make 0 smerit with 50 low-medium quality posts. It depends and in my opinion, people here (including me) prefer to give smerit to low ranks rather than the highest one. I remember declining to merit so many good posts because the OP was a legendary...and I am pretty sure many did the same. You cannot blame the system when most of people here don't care about the forum, nor contribute to the discussions here. They are simply joining bounties and spamming bitcointalk with their plagiarised texts.

also punish the countries we do not like under any pretext
This is the key message to lick the US government and its blind allies in order to avoid future problems. The main reason behind this isn't explicit yet and these countries don't have a considerable weight in the crypto-world. I think that this exchange will try in the future to expand its activity further.

This whole merit system is so fkin' stupid. Goes from 10 merit to rank up to 100.
From brand new to full member you need to wait to have +120 activity = 9 periods = 4 months and a half. 1 Merit per day shouldn't be that difficult for someone having the time to interact with others in the forum but most of users pass their time in ANN topics... Good thing I don't ever use this site anymore.
"ever", ok.

Yeah, i though about that. I was a little bit confused first, it is like search the intruder on the list. Then i said maybe because it is an ally to Russia but where is Russia in the list! Well back to the list it is definitely chosen not for laundering activity as the main reason but rather to the instability and the terror activities in some of these countries..

Will do it in behalf of OP [1], or simply search the title on google and many press articles will show about this ban. [1] Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bithumb-crypto-exchange-bans-accounts-from-11-countriesMost countries that have been ban is from the middle east and including Nokor with money laundering concerns and to avoid terrorist funding which is a bit useless since this criminals can use any exchange to fund their organizations or whatsoever they call that. I only found 6 countries from 11. Anti-laundreing is the main reason. Serbia? They forgot to add Russia and North Korea too (oops North Koreans cannot connect anyway)

First, you need to fix the title OP "en"--> "ten". 10 new ATMs is quite serious and imo it reflects how many users using Bitcoin via these machines.

Yes and I reported few days ago some of it. Some users use "reserved" or "res" as a text and keep it for days just like that without modification or deleting the post. They definitely deserve a warning up to temporary ban.

Are donations really necessary now?
Are you willing to donate 10 or 50 BTC? Did you see staff begging for donations? The forum don't need donations anymore since the ads revenues are quite good. This was said several times...

Thank you for this post. So far I never received any merit You will likely not find any merit source visiting frequently the altcoins sections and for sure not the ANN threads. If you want to get merit then you better change your view about the forum and visit other sections.

So, what is it going to look like? Lol.
No need to put a real face of a Japanese guy, they can build the head and put a bitcoin symbol instead of the face. BTW, the place where they plan to build the statue is good and i doubt that authorities will accept it easily. Edit : @1referee : yeah, why not. The artist(s) can make good things, he/they need to use its/their imagination.

Lock the topic and choose one of the two options that botany/mprep mentioned in the quoted text. This topic will not help you to change your name.

It should be available normally in the new forums. For the moment you can create a .gif image from a short video and post it here using [img]

Hey Jet Cash, as you said it should end up in reputation.
Since it doesn't have anything to do with the forum itself. And begiing --> begging.

Hello
I would like to purchase bitcoins but I cannot find a way to do it, since I happend to live in Turkey.
There is only 1 official website but they charge over 2000 YTL for 1 bitcoin (1000 usd) by wire transfers. This is excluding fees. rip of!!
I hope someone can tell me a way to fund an online wallet or exchange site (like btc-e) with creditcard or paypal.
Thanks
You can buy bitcoin using different ways, for example p2p via localbitcoins... I prefer that you ask this question directly to the Turkish community here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=133.0, they might have a better way.

We all know that the current market is very manipulated and we can see a lot of people losing money because they try to become a trader but they can not fight against the whales and traders from others markets, at least no so quickly as they would want. Even so, there is a sector of cryptomarket where people without a larger experience on the crypto world can make money, Im talking about icos.
Today in 2018 icos are still profitables, but there is a lot of people... and its getting very hard to get into the best ones. The admins even make lotteries and other things that we never saw in 2017 the golden year of whole cryptomarket.
What way to make money on this market do you prefer?
I am not following ico on a daily basis but my impression is that it is hard to join airdrops rather than bounties. The problem with bounties is to find the real one among many scammy ones... BTW, your topic fits better in the altcoin discussion (bottom of the page then click move topic then move it to alternate cryptocurrencies/altcoin discussion).

it's like we are living in a parallel universe.
Yeah JayJuanGee, most of newbies are indeed creating a "parallel universe", you can take a look on the topics here created by LoyceV and the others. Plagiarism of external articles, copy paste of old posts, shitposts...duplicated bitcointalk somehow.

All things considered, this system is pretty cool. It is a hassle to have to go to a separate page to give points to a post - is it possible to implement this within the thread itself?
@TheQuin : i was going to answer him then i remembered our discussion the last time about newbies and here is what i found... All things considered, this system is pretty cool.
