601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x Dec 28th on: December 26, 2017, 11:21:14 PM
Ok. Fork again, another coin promising to become better than the original Bitcoin. How many forks did we had already? each of those fork has the same goal to become better than the original Bitcoin and  to solve the current problem of the original Bitcoin but what happened on the previous coins that was created after the fork?
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: which one is best investment: bitcoin or bitcoin cash? on: December 26, 2017, 10:48:15 AM
Why choose if you can invest in both? You'll profit in both because those currencies has a limited supply. If you are a long term investor i suggest to invest in both Bitcoin already proved itself in long term, and for Bitcoin cash invest on it while the price is cheap.

604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Long Before Transactions are Rejected? on: December 25, 2017, 01:37:18 PM
Rather than acceleration, is there a way to force my transaction to get declined?

I don't think you can force your transaction to get declined, Your transaction will be automatically declined just wait for few more days. Blockchain is currently have heavy volume and many users are paying to accelerate their transaction.
605  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $100K? on: December 24, 2017, 03:11:06 PM
I don't have any resources to sell to be able to buy Bitcoin in that such amount. If ever the price went to 100k$ i will sell all my remaining Bitcoin for good and live my life to the fullest with my family. That Bitcoin price will surely make me rich when i sold my remaining Bitcoin.
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen if miners stop mining bitcoin? on: December 24, 2017, 04:59:16 AM
Miners are the reason why our transactions are confirmed, my question here what if we reach the 21m Bitcoin supply? What will happen to our transactions since miners doesn't have anything to mine anymore? Are they going to keep mining to continue confirming each transaction even if they cannot mine any Bitcoin anymore?
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miners will now remove your profits on: December 24, 2017, 02:38:28 AM

Its true that miners don't set the transaction fee.
Indeed, Miners don't have control and user have the chance to set the transaction fee but with limited range only but of course the lower the user set the longer the transaction can get confirmation and the higher the price set by user the fastest it can get confirmation in short they are being prioritize but again the speed of transaction still depends on the blockchain traffic.

Quote
But it is also true that we have earlier heard that some miners sending bitcoin with very low transaction fees that the network getting congested.
It happened before when the Bitcoin Cash price pump in a week and Bitcoin price fell they have to send huge traffic to Bitcoin network to make fee high, transaction take longer and price fall.

608  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Christmas gift on: December 23, 2017, 10:05:02 AM
Bitcoin breaking it’s high-price again and again, multiple purposes rather than payment system and future investment.
All this make bitcoin a perfect gift for your love, wife, and family.

1.  your gift for Christmas will be a bitcoin?.
2. your ways to gift bitcoins "Hardware wallet, bitcoin gifts, paper wallet, Physical Coins, Donate"?.

It is a nice idea but if the other person knows Bitcoin also because if they don't you need to teach, they might also have a hard time figuring out how Bitcoin work. also it is not advisable for children, it is still better to give children the traditional way giving them a dollars for every kid that you know you are their godparent. I already cashout some Bitcoin to give to all my godchildren.
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it over?? on: December 23, 2017, 12:58:32 AM
Nothing to worry about this change on Bitcoin already happened in the past but it still stayed strong and going more strong. Change like this should not make your lose your belief in Bitcoin. Base on my experience do not sell your Bitcoin when it falls especially if you are losing your initial investment, you can sell if you are in profit but never ever sell if you will lose some profit. Again Bitcoin price change is only normal but i guarantee you guys that price will go back to normal and more higher in the future.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: December 22, 2017, 12:21:48 PM
IF there is no cheat inside house there is also possiblity to win may be 12,5 means 1 of 8 play.
So if it is 50% win 50% loose game, than you can bet  1 , 2 , 4 , 8 ,16 , 32 , 64 ,128 USD and at least in worst case of this probablity you won 1 USD

Martingale will not work because every casino has there own max bet and max won limit so even if you have unlimited funds you will still have max bet and the chance of getting straight losing streak is a lot especially if you bet with pattern. House always wins if you play for too long but if you won and leave the site then you won against the house. But if you won and you stayed to win more then most likely you will end up nothing.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Bitcoin and GOODBYE (Let it goooo) on: December 22, 2017, 03:33:40 AM
I've seen a lot of statement like this everytime Bitcoin price is falling and it keeps on repeating i don't know why exactly. I really didn't comment on it and i just behave myself and the opportunity came that the price of Bitcoin went to 19k$ and i was able to cash out that day. Again another topic like this hope this one spread and get a lot of user to panic sell their Bitcoin then it will be the time for me to buy Bitcoin and sell it again in an appropriate time. happy xmas everyone
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD on: December 21, 2017, 11:48:09 PM
Having high fee and not getting any confirmation within 2 hours are not a reason for me to call Bitcoin dead. Few months ago i had a transaction that took 72hours before it reflects to my account, i panic of course but from that time i learned that as long as your transaction is already in the blockchain just waiting for confirmation that is good already and i just have to wait til it reflects to my account.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Christmas And BTC? on: December 21, 2017, 08:04:58 AM
Maybe there is a slight chance that Christmas affect Bitcoin but very slight only that is when Bitcoin user decided to sell some of their Bitcoin to buy Christmas gift and prepare for the celebration. I mentioned that it only affects slight because not all user or not all people celebrate Christmas. If the amount of Bitcoin converted to cash is low it really doesn't affect much in the Bitcoin market.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hard Times for a Hodler!! on: December 20, 2017, 11:10:01 PM
Hard to sit here and watch our BTC fighting off yet another attack from these twat wads. Our baby is wounded but standing strong.

Godspeed.

Just dont mind the change of price from time to time and think of the result long term if you keep holding your Bitcoin. Price and dump is normal when we talk about crypto and even stocks, Bitcoin has a limited supply so the longer you hold the higher the price it can go. What i mean is since it has a limited supply whatever happens now in the price and dump of the coin just think of the longer term when the supply reach its max what would be the price of Bitcoin then? So i suggest that just hold your Bitcoin.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC price decreases and BCH increases sharply, why? on: December 20, 2017, 02:09:48 PM
I wonder when the whole market dyed red but BCH increased sharply and the price of BTC fell sharply. Shark want everyone sell the BTC to buy BCH, then the shark will harvest the BCH and increase the BTC again.
Should I sell BTC now??

I really don't advised that you sell your Bitcoin now, Whales selling their BTC and Buying BCH is part of their tactics to get income, and they are the only person who can do that since they can control the market with their large bankroll of crypto. But do not worry because they will be selling their BCH again and going to buy BTC again to gain more profit and Bitcoin price will still rise in the future.
616  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: December 19, 2017, 09:55:21 AM
The Government in our Country already knew about Bitcoin and of course since they don't have any control of it they discourage citizens in investing in this coin, even the central bank notified the public to stay away in Bitcoin because as they said it is illegal and it is being used by terrorist because of its anonymity but they didn't mentioned that they will punishing user who are caught using Bitcoin.
617  Economy / Economics / Re: What would benefit bitcoin more? on: December 19, 2017, 08:34:29 AM
I rather choose president advertisement from the poll because governments support are the one we need to make those people who still have doubt getting scammed using Bitcoin if ever they participate in using them, If those people can't believe other people who already using Bitcoin then i am sure that they will surely believe if the persons telling them that Bitcoin is not a scam and they have nothing to fear with it if it will come from the government or the president.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: December 19, 2017, 04:52:56 AM
Investing in crypto doesnt have any age limit so there is nothing to worry about if you are old already and you want to invest in cryptos, as long as you have the money, the gadgets , internet connection and someone very close to you to guide you in investing if you are new in crypto then you'll not gonna have any problem investing in cryptocurrency. But if you don't have those ff that i listed there is no way for you to invest old or young.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when you try to explain people about cryptocurrency do they understand? on: December 18, 2017, 10:17:51 PM
When i try to explain it to my workmate or colleagues they do understand and they are eager and excited to try or use Bitcoin like what i am doing but the only problem is that the price of Bitcoin right now are not affordable especially if you are living in a third world country like us. Gladly i was able to use Bitcoin in its early phase while it is cheap but right now my friends are annoyed because though they can see the potential profit they can get they cant start because they can't afford the price.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: December 18, 2017, 01:42:16 PM
With the current state of Bitcoin as of this month it is one of the proof that Bitcoin will never end. Bitcoin can only end if there will become a mass destruction wherein all the internet access in the whole world will get disconnected once that happen we won't be able to trade our Bitcoin, Bitcoin will become useless and that will be the start of the decrease of its price until it goes back to 0.
